Absolutely loved dog sitting for Laura! She was such a lovely host. Ava (her pup) is extremely well behaved. The house is gorgeous and conveniently located near an Italian eatery, Japanese spa, and multiple lovely coffee shops. Truly a great a experience 😊
We were made very welcome and felt right at home as soon as we arrived. The sheep looked after them themselves and we hardly saw the cat, apart from when it came in the house to pinch the dog's food. Eddie was a sweetheart and just wanted to sit with us as we took in the amazing views.
Under the watchful eye of the King, we served as temporary court. His magical kingdom was filled with fairytale qualities included a haunted abandoned castle. Adventures abound, pinecones driving the passage of time. In other words: King is an amazing dog. With a passion for the pinecone. The house is beautiful on an amazing plot of land far from the rat race of Charleston. Josh and Nicki are gracious hosts.

These kitties are extremely easy to care for, especially considering how young they are and the relatively small home they live in. Mojave is a complete doll who loved getting pets from me. Tallulah is very sweet and soft and liked to sleep at my feet. Denali was shyer and more discriminating about how and where she was pet (no base of tail!) but was very sweet. She loved rubbing on my bare feet, so that was our main way of interacting. All three love to play, and I made a point to include Denali, since she sometimes got sidelined a bit by the more outgoing kitties. The home location was outstanding, and I had fun exploring Divisadero and Lower Haight. I also walked all the way to North Beach to meet friends for dinner, which was fun. The home is very secure and felt safe. I didn’t have trouble with parking, but I can understand how it would be a challenge if you’re sitting during the week. And yes it can be a little rough having a cat box in the same room. Probably my one negative. But all in all I would recommend this sit.
I loved this sit! First, Maebe is the cutest cuddliest cat you’ll meet and very easy to love and care for. Lauren and AJ are also wonderful people and made everything easy. Plus their home is beautiful and in an amazing location. Would love to sit for them again!
