The experience of sitting Shallot in Chris’ house was really great. Shallot is absolutely lovely, a bit shy at the very first moment, but she will start asking for cuddles and attention after that. Communication with Chris was excellent, he explained me everything about Shallot and the house and we kept in touch for the whole sitting.
I spent an amazing few weeks in Giaveno with Freccia, Ginger, Billy, Miko and Missy and her kittens. They each have a special personality. I will miss them but most of all Freccia who always was near me, followed me everywhere around the house, retrieved a ball for me and hung out with me when I relaxed or read a book. I liked walking in the countryside with Ginger and Freccia. And I must not forget to mention Missy - she joined us for walks and made everyone who we met on the trail laugh. Clearly, she believes she is a dog and refuses to part from her doggie friends! 🤣 My time on the family farm was special and memorable. 😊 I enjoyed regular strolls around the farm with all the pets accompanying me. We picked up blueberries and tomatoes, checked on the hens and collected a few eggs every day. Francesca's family is lovely. They live outside of a pleasant village Giaveno that has several good restaurants. The farm is in a beautiful natural environment with a splendid view of the mountains and the area is excellent for walks, starting right from the house. Francesca gave me excellent instructions on how to look after her pets and was available on Whatsapp to provide advice if needed. When an electrical issue arises her very kind father in law Giovanni promptly arrived to help to resolve it. Thank you Francesca and Roberto for inviting me into your home and trusting me to care for your animal family. Wishing you and your boys all the best and hope to see you again in the future. 🌞🤗🧡
Carl and Deb were great hosts and their place is lovely. Kiki is a very independent kitty and I noticed that she would come to me sparingly but when she did she was friendly and sweet. Overall it was a great sit, very cute house in a nice community with a sweet independent kitty. Would recommend this house sit to anyone including working professionals since Kiki is so self sufficient.
We had a wonderful time housesitting for Alyssa and Ricky. They were extremely communicative throughout our stay and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Their beautiful home and neighbourhood made us feel very welcome indeed! Ollie is such a sweet boy and he was an absolute dream to care for. We had so much fun walking, playing and relaxing with him. I had a great experience sitting for Hope and her kitty, Shadow. Everything about the sit was accurately described and Hope left detailed instructions on Shadow's care. Shadow is a laid back, affectionate kitty. There were some last minute scheduling changes, due to unforeseen circumstances, which Hope managed in a very accomodating, easy manner. Communication was great, as were the accommodations!
