We had a wonderful time housesitting for Julie in Napier. Lots of fun going on and things to do in the area. Her home is in a great location. Her cats were great and easy to care for . the swimming Pool was great on hot days for a cool refreshing dip. we would highly recommend this Housesit.
Linda and Michael are some of the most gentle petparents I´ve ever met. Everything was well organized, the house comfortable, nice and clean and, the needs of Frisbee easily explained. The location of the house with the nice garden, just in front of a castle, is perfect to discover the area. Don´t miss out Bamberg and Rothenburg ob der Tauber plus the lovely, tiny villages in the surroundings! Don´t worry about Frisbee. He´ll tell you exactely what he wants and when. Just make sure that he gets his drops, his food bufet is nicely filled up and, that he receives his daily wellness massage. In that case you´ll find a very good friend in him. I hardly could leave and still miss him. Hopefully we all meet again soon.
Peaceful and relaxing getaway for great people with wonderful animals! We were honored to be Marie and Robert's first THS sitters. Marie was prompt in her communication, answered any questions we had, and made sure we had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. We were delighted to be able to arrive the day before they departed to be introduced to Goose, Mrs. Potts, and Gaston. We fell in love with Goose immediately. He is a sweet dog who is trained and listens well. He loves to chase his frisbee and retrieve his ball. He is affectionate and likes to be near. During our sit, he slept in his bed in our room. The kitties are sweet, but take a bit longer to warm up. They kept to themselves in the master bedroom most of the time and would allow us to come in and visit with them. Gaston was fairly quick to come out and allow us to pet and interact. Mrs. Potts took a few days before we could touch her and play with. Both have great personalities and are a pleasure to get to know. They are cautious around Goose, so we found it easier to play with them in the mud room where Goose is not allowed. The property is large and peaceful. We enjoyed visiting the horses boarded there and had lots of room to exercise Goose. It's also really cool to see the horses ridden or exercised in the arenas near the pool. The property/horse caretakers were all easy to interact with too. Marie and Robert's home is quite large and we were very comfortable there. We made daily use of the pool area lounging with Goose. The views and landscaping with outside living area made us feel we were at a resort! We enjoyed the koi pond, bar-b-que area, and expansive views of the mountains. We would gladly sit for Marie and Robert in the future and recommend this sit for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with some sweet little souls.
The experience at Nina's house has been wonderful! I would give it a thousand stars if possible, not just 5. Nina is a splendid woman, she welcomed me with affection, laughter and generosity. She explained everything to me with simplicity and communication with her has always been easy. She is an incredible hostess, who makes you feel at home from the first moment. Her cats, Miez and Tessa are a gift. They are two adorable and easy-going cats: affectionate and playful but they also like to have their independence and enjoy quiet nap times on the terrace. Being with them recharges your batteries, they are super well behaved and have not given me any scare or problem. They came to greet me as soon as I entered the house, which always makes anyone happy, and they accompanied me without disturbing my work at the computer or on the sofa. Tessa loves playing with her balls or catching games, Miez is quieter and loves to be petted or have her beautiful hair combed. Nina's home exudes calm and well-being. Everything is harmonious, very zen. She has a big roof terrace with a hammock that is a dream. From there you can see the mountains of Collserolla, which is very relaxing. If you have to work, Nina has an office with lots of light and all the facilities to work remotely. The house has all the comforts you can imagine, and Nina, who is a sweetheart, put them at my disposal. All in all, a fabulous experience, I recommend it with my eyes closed to all sitters!
Eddie and Rebecca were great communicators. We were fully prepared for the sit and instructions were available for the pets and all of the household things. Their home is lovely. The pets are so sweet and lovable and very well behaved. We found them entertaining and fun to spend time with!
It was such a pleasure to spend a few days at Shanelle's home (sadly didn't get to meet her husband). First of all, she's a warm, welcoming person and excellent at communicating her preferences - a great plus when meeting a homeowner! The kitties, Milo & Leo, are absolutely gorgeous and so cuddly. As for the meds? Easy-peasy & fast: really nothing to it. Then - the apartment: very comfortable, well laid out and I don't think I've seen better views in Vancouver. The bedroom looks out to the Vancouver Yacht Club in Stanley Park. From the other rooms you can see all the way to English Bay and since it's on a high floor, down at all the cool little rooftop gardens in so many condos around Coal Harbour. In short, hosts & kitties made us feel very welcomed and the apartment is really comfortable - a great sit anyone would love and we'd be happy to do again!
