Virginia was an outstanding house sitter. She is kind and funny, very responsive and left the place very clean. In particular, she was easygoing when we had a household problem during her stay. The purpose of the stay was to care for our newly installed landscaping and indoor plants, and she took great care of everything. I very much hope she is available to stay with us again.
In addition to a beautiful, airy, comfortable apartment with a breathtaking view and for a week of escape from winter, there was Guy, a wonderful dog that I fell in love with immediately. He is so wonderful, loving, playful, happy and I loved every part of the day with him. If you observe him and know something about the dog’s behavior, you quickly figure out what he needs and what he enjoys most, what makes him happy and comfortable. Maybe that's why we connected so quickly. He trusted me and knew I would take care of the “scary things" and in return he gave me his unconditional love, which I felt from morning to evening as he showed me his devotion in various acts like banging his head on my lap or cuddle with me in bed just before bed time and then jumped on his bed to sleep. I still like to think of his jumps of joy when I told him we were going for a trip. We drove to the mountains where we went on beautiful hikes and we both enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. Guy was my top priority and his love was the greatest reward to me. To gain trust and love from an animal that knows you for such a short ime, is there anything better? Not to me. It was so easy to take care of him. Mary gave me all the necessary instructions and I always knew she was only one phone call away. I am so grateful to Mary and Lindsay for entrusting me with their home and Guy. Mary and Lindsay really go above and beyond for Guy and he deserves it because he’s the best dog one can wish for. There aren’t enough great words to express how wonderful time I had in Almuñécar with Guy. I’m still thinking about what he’s doing at a certain time of day and I really miss him. I’ll love all three of them him forever.
My sit with Bellina,Pasha and Miu Miu in Sai Kung. Bellina is an elderly lady that requires lots of brushing and medication. Pasha is a Chonky king of the house. Miu Miu is a shy Buddhist cat who comes out for pets when she feels safe. I took care of them for 2 weeks and eventually found my rhythm with giving medication to Bellina and learning the dynamics between the cats! The house is wonderful and has got a little garden and is very nicely decorated, with The near proximity to the city.It gets quiet during the night and feels cosy.During her trip we would communicate with Carola almost on a daily basis. The communication was great, the sit was relatively easy:)
Casper is one of the best kitties I've ever met. He's playful, very energetic, but at the same time very kind and affectionate. When I was working from morning to evening from my laptop he was always chilling by my side, hugging my legs or arms. But if you play with him, he's restless and a real hunter. You get tired much quicker than he does. Don's apartment is located in one of the best areas of Amsterdam in my opinion. Very modern and clean with fantastic commute options to the city centre and major attractions as well as to other cities like Delft, Den Haag, Rotterdam, Utrecht. The apartment has everything you need including beautiful daylight in the leaving room.
We had a great time in Dorset , looking after Judith's lovely home and two gorgeous cats. Looking after Kodie and Tom was a delight. Two totally different personalities, but each fabulous in their own right. Tom was a little reserved in the beginning, but warmed up to cuddles very soon, and Kodie didn't hesitate - loved them both! We were welcomed into their home right from the start. A lovely and welcomed supper was enjoyed, with good conversations. Thank you Judith for inviting us to sit. We would not hesitate to sit again should the occasion arise xx
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our pet sit with Ollie and Khana. Both dogs are loving and enjoy having attention paid to them. They are excellent during off lead walks and will come when called and hop back in the car when it's time to head home. They play nicely together as well. Khana is still learning the ropes, but she is still young and is getting there. The views from the finca are truly amazing in every direction. The scenery is remarkable. This area of Spain is fantastic with so much to explore not far away. Just hiking from the finca is a wonderful way to spend a few hours. Unfortunately, we did not get to meet Gabrielle but communication with her was excellent. Gabrielle's husband Danny kindly picked us up at the airport and showed us around. He is a very down to earth guy and it was a pleasure to have had the opportunity to spend the evening with him.
We had an awesome sit at Alex and Brooklynn's house! We were welcomed by Alex who provided us a concise welcome guide and gave us a tour of the house, showing us the small details. Communication was easy and they responded quickly despite being busy. Jasper, Koda and Luna are three adorable and full of energy dogs. Jasper is always trying to have your attention by asking for pets and being around you and despite being a ball of excitement, he listens very well. Koda is a very calm yet affectionate dog with an old soul that likes to cuddle on the couch. Luna, the German Shepherd, likes to watch outside by the window and will warn you if someone comes by. She's also very calm and will tilt her head when you talk to her. All of them are great dogs and we felt very safe in the house. Cosmo and Nova were very independent but when they came back in the house, they were always ready for a bit of affection. Anyone sitting at The Animal House (it's the wifi's name!) will have a great time for sure. Besides the great canine and feline company, the location is amazing. Everything is accessible by commute and that allows you to appreciate the true essence and spirit of San Francisco.

Robin is the best dog trainer in Orange county, New York. She specializes in training reactive dogs. She doesn't just train the dog. She trains the owner on how to handle the dog in certain situations. She has trained all three of my Springer spaniels. I highly recommend her. She is patient, understanding and kind. Robbin had a reactive dog herself and understands a dog's body language and can steer you in the right direction with your pet. Robin has shown me that training a dog isn't a one-time thing. It's everyday and you have to keep up with it. If you're looking for a dog trainer, don't hesitate to call her she truly is amazing at what she does, and you will see a difference in your dog with the first lesson you take with Robin.
Robin is very knowledgeable when it comes to dog training. With just a few lessons, I am already seeing a difference in my dog. Robin is easy to work with, and I have been able to use what she has taught me, to better myself and my dog. Thank You Robin for providing a safe and affordable environment for us.
I highly recommend Robin for your dog training needs. She is highly knowledgeable and dedicated in obedience training, and genuinely cares about helping to improve your life with your dog. I’ve had the best experience so far and have only just begun. I’ve done about 10 private lessons, and have attended about 7 of the group classes she offers for existing clients. I will continue to do so as each lesson and exposure only strengthens my own knowledge and ensures I will be able to communicate needs/wants/boundaries/and rules to my dog in a way she understands and appreciates. Robin is consistent, motivating, fun, and flexible. I truly am having the best experience with my new dog. Just about everywhere we go, someone comments about how well behaved my pup is! The credit definitely goes to my lessons with Robin.
It has been such a pleasure working with Robin! It has made such a difference in how much I am enjoying my dog. I haven’t had a puppy in 20 years and never actually knew any of the basic skills to teach and how important they are. She is always in contact and easy to reach. She is also helpful when I let her know of issues and concerns I am having and is never judgmental. I continue to work with her and would highly recommend her to anyone willing to put in the time to train their dog with a professional to guide them.
I got my two dogs in my divorce and sought out Robin to help me as the younger of the two was getting pushy with me and my older guy. I wasn't sure what could be done since he was already 4, but I was open to learning because what I'd done all my life wasn't working. Robin has a well-balanced empathetic, yet no nonsense approach and was able observe us and make recommendations for ways I could work with my dog; not just get him to behave. Similar to cognitive behavioral therapy, she was there to help me recognize patterns and cycles in my own behavior as well as his. 6 months later, Max is a completely different dog; he has confidence, understands rules and boundaries, and I can take him out in public. I cannot recommend Robin enough.
Robin is a very experienced and a knowledgeable dog trainer. Robin understands a dog’s nature and how they think. Equally important, she knows the human errors that lead to negative dog behaviors and teaches you corrections. Robin has helped to train my feisty dachshund to become more obedient and more willing to look to me for direction. Training sessions are fun and informative. They are well structured with each a specific goal in mind. Robin is tops in dog training and dog care.
I’m a new puppy owner and let me tell you, with only 1 phone call and 1 training session, my husband and I can ALREADY see an improvement—whether it be from our puppy, our direction, and even in our confidence as owners! Look, Robin’s insight and advice WORKS. You just have to be willing to implement changes—all in which are truthfully best for you and your pup. Prior to Robin, we struggled and felt lost. Now, we are hooked and can’t wait to experience more successes with Robin as we raise our boy!
"We have been working with Robin for about a year now, so this review is long overdue. The short version is... it's like we have a new dog! Before working with Robin, our dog Autumn was very reactive around other dogs, barking, growling, and lunging. Since starting with Robin, the transformation has been incredible. Autumn has become much more neutral and no longer pulls when walking. It's been a real game changer. Previously, we had to be very selective about where and when we could take her, but now we can take her everywhere. Robin is extremely knowledgeable and truly understands dog behavior. We could not be happier with the progress Autumn has made and highly recommend Robin's services! Additionally, we use Robin's dog walking services, and she has been extremely reliable, never missing a day in almost a year. Autumn had a chance to meet her new cousin which would have been completely impossible a short while ago. I recommend Robin without hesitation!!!”
When we got our dog, Tuco, last year he was an 8-week old Whoodle puppy coming into our family as we grieved the sudden loss of our beloved, 6-year old Wheaten. We did not start training with Robin until Tuco was between 10-11 months old but she came into our family just in time. The transformation in our (we are a family of 4) relationship with Tuco was immediate…as soon as Robin came to the door and began instructing US not necessarily training Tuco. We knew in that moment we had to adjust our own behavior for his sake…especially unfairly comparing him to our other dog. Tuco was well on his way to being an anxious, out of control (or maybe in full control of us!), highly reactive dog making for an unenjoyable, tense home environment but that ALL changed with Robin’s expert knowledge and patient guidance. We worked one-on-one with Robin as a family in the home, in the yard, and in the community. Robin always makes time to answer a “quick” question or problem-solve on the phone, providing much-needed suggestions and solutions when feeling unsure. We are now in our second round of group classes and having so much fun! We cannot thank Robin enough…because of her we all got on the same page in our house, which is what Tuco needed most from us…and now we are all enjoying the awesome dog that he was meant to be. Do I wish we called Robin sooner? Yes. But it is never too late!
We have known Robin for several years. We know our dogs are in caring and knowledgeable hands. Robin takes a lot of pride in what she does, and is a great advocate for her furry friends!
