Firstly, Geordie and Alice have such a lovely home and everything from communication to hospitality was top notch. The real star however was miss Puzzle! She truly is a gem of a pup, she’s so fun to take about the city or just chill with at home and is just the sweetest most cuddly girl - I would come back any time. xx
Cheris has created a lovely home inside and out with plenty of light and plants. We stayed in the guest space, which is a self-contained Airbnb unit if you were to need to stay longer :) Twix mostly hid under the bed for our short stay but Snickers got some play time and scrunches. Easy care routine for the kitties with good instructions and communication throughout the visit. The location is in a quiet, safe south Austin residential area with a couple of restaurants and coffee shops a quick walk down the street. We enjoyed the stay and the kitties!
What a pleasure to house sit this big loving puppy Cowboy and two nice cats Finn and Squid. Cowboy is so gentle and affectionate and sometimes he think he's a lap dog wants to sit on my lap lol, And don't get fooled by his size he is very gentle and often get bullied by much smaller sized dog. He is the perfect sit for sitter/s want to get German Shepherd or affectionate loving big dog experience and don't mind to spend time with him, we love to walk him everywhere while checking out new neighbourhood. Spending time with him makes me feel like I am that Belle with her werewolf friend Jacob from movie Twilight lol.O(∩_∩)O . Jacob , oh no I mean Cowboy ;) is a well trained puppy, Very cute! ♥ and listened to our command. He loves to play fetch and love to have our attention, he is very charming and we just willing to do anything for this handsome cute big fellow lol. Cats very easy to looks after, Finn likes to sleep on the scratch post, Squid loves to give us head bump and kisses once we locked Cowboy in his man cave to rest. Host Amanda and Michael are the best pet owners you could dreamed of, they are very helpful, kind, thoughtful, appreciative and easy going cool couple. They gave us clear instructions, responsive during the trip, left a clean apartment and plenty of treats and toys for us to engage with their fury babies. Its less than 24 hours we already miss Cowboy, hopefully we will get chance to house sit him again in the future. ^^
Bodhi is a wonderful dog that is easy and fun to take care of. This is a beautiful house in a private wooded setting, yet close to lots of activities in DC and surround area. Lots of room for walks. The house is amazing and very comfortable. The owners are easy to work with and they are very welcoming. This housesit exceeded our expectations. We loved our time here and hated to leave!
Oh the lovely Horace and Hamish! These adorable boys are incredibly affectionate and great company. It's delightful to see them playing together and then snuggling under the blanket on your lap! They play really well together, love belly rubs and Horace has his favourite ball you have to throw ALL the time! They are very well behaved, the perfect companions on the lovely walks through miles of National Trust woodland which is on your doorstep. The boys will happily walk and sniff for miles! Nick & Emma have a beautiful home which is ideally situated, especially if you enjoy walking. Communication was great throughout and they were very kind and responsive to any queries I had. If you get the opportunity to stay in Nick & Emma's lovely home looking after the gorgeous Horace and Hamish, grab it with both hands! I'm missing their snuggles already!
I took care of puppy, Pongo and precious cat, Olive and had a great time! The way the pet sit was described on the site was exactly what I found my experience to be. Honestly, this dog was the most well trained/happy/loving puppy I have ever met ; -) and Olive's vibe was the sweetest. They get along great by the way. The house is in a spectacular & convenient location near downtown on a whimsical maple tree and gorgeous Victorian-lined street. This is an awesome lil family to sit for! Can't wait to sit again!
