Kerry
Five stars across the board…highest possible marks. We fell through the looking glass and landed in the loveliest home, hosted by Kerry, James, and their three fabulous children. Award-winning introduction guide and welcome tour…no detail overlooked, even hosting us to a lovely pre-journey meal. Tessie and Juno have such unique, affectionate, and individual personalities. They were our constant companions for daily picnics, outings and romps. Wonderful location for visiting many estates and beautiful gardens, including the enviable Westonbrit Arboretum. Recommend without hesitation and we hope to be asked back as we miss the girls and the whole special family already!

Karla
Karla is an amazing woman - trusting, resourceful, kind and helpful, and her pups are the sweetest. Can't say enough about this sit. I cared for her 3-year-old golden and her 7-month old pup while she went on a cruise around Greece. Karla requested I arrive the night before so she could show me around, personally introduce me to the pups and take me out to dinner with her partner of 14 years, John (who doesn't live with Karla and is a total gem, btw). It means a lot to me when pet parent's trust me, and I felt honored to be so trusted by Karla, and I felt completely comfortable from the moment she interviewed me.

Also, I must give a shoutout to John. I had a couple unplanned emergencies happen during this sit, and John was a complete life saver: kind, abundantly gracious, helpful and considerate. As a full-time solo traveler and petsitter who is used to constantly giving, it was so special to me to be so unwaveringly supported the way I was throughout the whole ordeal. Having to include into my responsibilities the added high demand of these emergencies while petsitting couldn't have happened during a better petsit. Though I am more than happy to handle these things on my own, and would've done everything I could to make sure everything and everyone was well-taken care of, it still felt good to be supported so well by these two.

And of course, these puppers... ugh, how precious! The pup is still gaining agency over his bladder and is def still learning the ropes of life, but man, he is PRECIOUS. He would come right up to my face and sweetly and gently sniff me, then crawl into whatever open space around me he could find. The 3-year golden absolutely loves to be as close as possible to you (in pure golden style), haha. She loved sneaking me as many kisses as she could get away with, and at times, crawled right on top of me, haha. We enjoyed sitting outside on the warmer nights and snuggling on the couch, but lounging around in bed was my fav-- the puppy stretched along my side, and the golden lying as close to my neck and head as possible.

Finally, I LOVE Milwaukee. I have been to Milwaukee several times throughout my life, and I'm telling you, if you've never been, be sure to change that. It is an incredible city with lots to do, outdoor festivals, gorgeous architecture and more.

If you are considering petsitting for Karla and these two cuties, you'll love it. Please give those pup babies bugs for me!!
