Farrah is one the sweetest, kindest most generous people (not only sitting hosts) I have met! After numerous sits at their home, I feel like family (even to spend my birthday there). I am totally in love with bull dogs, Dave and Daisy. I didn't know I would / could respond to the charm, antics and companionship of these great dogs. Little did I also know I would miss sharing a bed (snores and farts) with my loving / cuddly furry kids. The house is well organized; "my" room is comfortable and well decorated. Scarborough is a wonderful area of Perth...beach; youthful vibe and very easy pubic transportation connects. A great sit!!!!
Claire is an incredible host, with an amazing home that has everything one may need, and great clear communication. Dexie is an incredibly sweet kitty, who opens up quickly as trust is formed. I had such a great time watching Dexie in Claire's home - an ideal sit on all levels!
Philip and Dianne are lovely. They had me there a day or two ahead of time to get to know Ben and his routines. That worked very well. They live in a paradise on earth - Youlgrave inThe white peaks, and I had Ben's company exploring every nook and cranny of it. He is very loveable. it's a village and Phil made sure folks around knew I was coming and they watched out for me. both Phil and Dianne are warm and friendly people with great communication skills, very eager to share interesting features of the area. I highly recommend this sit.
I have had the pleasure of house/pet sitting for Heather and Laurence on four separate occasions looking after 4 cats and two dogs, latter sit three dogs. They are friendly, well organized and very welcoming people. Upon my arrival they took me out to show me around the area, took me for a meal with their friends, walked me through the routines of the dogs and cats, everything well explained. The house is very comfortable and inviting with lovely furnishings. The dogs and cats were wonderful companions, each one with their own distinctive personality. My favourite time was walking the dogs, they are great fun to be with. If you have the opportunity to house/pet sit for Heather and Laurence I highly recommend it. They are wonderful hosts and will make you feel most welcome.
Georgie and her family are absolutely lovely and they have a wonderful home. Diggory and Floyd are both absolutely adorable. At first I could only tell them apart when they were together as Diggory is slightly lighter in colour than Floyd but after a few days, I could tell them apart. The biggest tip for future sitters is that tapping the bowls really works. Several times I went outside and tapped their bowls together and the boys both ran back home for dinner time. Both cats are friendly but Floyd is a little shy so takes a little more time to warm up to you. The way to Floyd’s heart is easily with food. He is always hungry and will follow you if you’re in the kitchen. Two things to be mindful of with Floyd. 1. Floyd will try to steal Diggory’s bedtime treat. He eats his fast then runs over to Diggory’s plate so keep an eye on him. 2. Floyd knows which jar the cat food is in so if you leave the lid off, he will dig out the packet the sneaky boy so make sure you put that lid back on. Diggory is very sweet and adorable. He always wants to be near you. He sat next to me as I worked, sat on my lap when I watched tv, and if he was hot, he would stretch out by my feet. The home has everything you need and is close to transport. Richmond Park is not far away and definitely worth a day out. It’s a massive park so put your walking shoes on.
Cosmo and Ziggy are the cutest! I miss them already. Jenny was a great host all around and her home is lovely.
