Martin & I felt totally at ease with Sophie & Steve, who were great communicators, from our initial video call and our first visit to meet the pets. We were provided detailed information regarding the sit in advance, together with a printed copy waiting for us on arrival. The information covered the pets Cookie and Chilli, the house and even recommendations of places to visit in the local area. We were made very welcome the evening we arrived to start the sit and had such a lovely guest room, with a comfy bed, cosy bedding and soft towels. Sophie kept in touch with us during the sit, answering any questions or queries very promptly and was pleased to get regular photos and updates on Cookie and Chilli. We particularly enjoyed Cookie running up the stairs at 100mph each day to say good morning!!!She is cute, gentle, full of fun, loves a snuggle and cuddle at anytime of the day and was such a joy throughout the entire sit. She is very easy to walk, obedient and settled very well at night. Chilli is a really easy going cat, letting us wait on him as cats do and having a little ‘chat’ around meal times and when he wanted to go out. He let us pick him up when we needed to move him and also liked being brushed. We felt very honoured when he sat by us, then on us, then came upstairs to our room … a gradual process, but he seemed to warm to us which was lovely and very rewarding. Sophie and Steve’s home is full of love and has such a wonderfully unique charm. There is so much character and it is extremely comfortable, clean, tidy and a great place to unwind and relax. There’s everything you need to hand, the kitchen is well equipped and a lovely place to cook and socialise. We really enjoyed the snug and comfortable lounge in the evening. On our walk with Cookie each day, straight from the house we found the village to be idyllic with lanes, tracks and fields within easy reach. All in all this is definitely a 5 Star sit and we would highly recommend Sophie and Steve’s wonderful pets and comfortable home … thank you so much for trusting us with your fur babies!
Fabulous house sit! Great location within a couple of kilometres from beach and shops, restaurants etc. Natalie is so easy going and generous and the house is very relaxing! Millie & Luna were easily cared for and absolutely adorable, great fun, Luna being the only cat we know that will happily play fetch! Thank you for having us, if we are in the area we would not hesitate to re-sit ❤️
Great sit! Harrison was easy to communicate with and well prepared for a sitter. He and Krissy were flexible and very accommodating. And, of course, Rosco and Runa were so sweet and very affectionate!
Hayley and Tom have a gorgeous and comfortable home and Murphy was super easy to take care of, she has a great routine, loves company and is easy to walk, she is also very photogenic and happy to pose for her daily updates. Milo was a little shy at first but came and hung out with us when he felt like it, spending lots of time with me during the work day towards the end of our stay. Hayley was super quick to reply to any questions and we were able to reach either her or Tom almost any time of the day even while overseas. We were left very clear and detailed instructions which we really appreciate. My husband and I really enjoyed the stunning location as well. Highly recommended sit!
It was lovely sitting for the McCauley family. There pets, Tia and Ivan, were so sweet and well behaved. It was nice waking up to Tia sleeping on our feet and Ivan demanding affection in the morning. Tia is very snuggly and Ivan likes to talk in the morning, which my husband got a big kick out of it. The house was clean and quiet, and Stephanie walked us through things and made sure we were comfortable before heading out. We highly recommend housesitting for the McCauley family, you will not be disappointed!
I loved these two big dogs in Albuquerque. Finn is the more affectionate one who will melt you with his eyes and wants to follow you everywhere. Sawyer is the jealous one who has to come over and get his pets too anytime you're petting Finn. Both dogs behave and mind well. The house was in a great location - easy to get to things in ABQ. Chris was in great communication the entire time.
