We hit the JACKpot! Where to start? Most importantly, Birdie was so well cared for, with love and lots of attention. Due to travel circumstances, we ended up spending a fair amount of time with Jack, who was delightful company, in addition to being super smart, trustworthy, responsible, and maybe just a little OCD, so the house was immaculate when I returned. Not to mention the delicious cake he made with apricots from my tree. We were really lucky to find Jack—if you can convince him to come to your house, do it!

Lindsay had been great. Charlotte and China are not the easiest cats to win round, but she managed to create bonds with them both, particularly Charlotte. She was open to arrive the day before, to get to know kitties, which didn’t quite work out due to time differences, but got to see her before and could explain things. She kept me updated with cats and how they were doing, which I really appreciated, and if she had questions, she would ask.. but was pretty self sufficient. The apartment was lovely and clean when I got back. Definitely recommend her. 😀

Rhiannon agreed to sit for us at short notice (thank you!). She was communicative, friendly and flexible. She warmed to Charlie and Pepe quickly and sent us updates and pictures throughout the sit and also kindly left us a welcome home card. Thank you again!

If attentive, responsible, kind animal care is your top priority, Blaire and Nick are the Housesitters for you! They took care of my two goats and two hens for nearly 3 months. They very carefully followed all instructions for animal care (e.g. letting the goats out of their pen to roam the yard once/week; spraying water on the ground of the hens' pen when temperatures were in the 90's and above; plus many other details). They cared for my garden and planted lots of extra vegetables. Most significantly, they solved a huge problem I had of the hens' eggs being pecked daily (it turns out it was a scrub jay doing it, not the hens themselves). Nick built a clever new nesting box that allowed each laid egg to roll down into a covered area and remain safely whole! Brilliant. One of my hens became deathly ill, and Blaire and Nick brought her into a room in my house and nursed her back to health. Clearly, they went above and beyond in caring for my beloved goats and chickens, and I'm so grateful to them. They communicated well and kept me abreast of everything that was going on with the animals. I recommend Blaire and Nick without hesitation!

Jake was responsible, self-sufficient, communicative, and thoughtful with his questions throughout the whole stay, which I really liked. He had asked prior to the sit what kind of updates I would prefer and how often. I asked for everyday and he delivered! He provided a couple updates and pictures every day. My home looked exactly as I left it - wouldn’t even know someone had stayed! Haha. Jake is welcome to come back and sit again.

Brianna and Nader took such great care of my place and the cats! They were great at communicating with me and sent me many updates and photos. I came home to a very tidy place and happy cats, I would definitely welcome them back into my home any time! Thank you very much, Brianna and Nader! You made my trip so much less stressful knowing the girls were in great hands. Appreciate you both!

Victoria was so organized, responsible and communicative. My pups were very happy. I would use her again in a puppies heartbeat

Carrie is AWESOME! Somehow, no matter how much we clean before leaving, our house always looks cleaner when we return. She definitely goes above and beyond. More importantly, our Mixi is happy to see Carrie and the photos show her completely comfortable (and inviting petting) and eating well. Carrie keeps us updated and at ease with delightful photos and messages. She is the ideal sitter and will continue to be the first we invite when we are going away.

Shena was excellent with Jack and took wonderful care of our home while we were away for a week. She was ontop of it with communication, so caring and sweet with Jack, and kept our home looking like nobody even stayed there (so tidy!) we miss our boy so much while we’re away so greatly appreciated the sweet pictures she sent of him. Jack seems to have really bonded with her too. Shena is welcome any time!

This was Kimberly and Andrew second sit and it was like welcoming old friends back to the house. Bixby was happy to see them and they did a wonderful job with him. Bix requires a chunk of transition time with those who come and go (including me!) but once a little time passes, he is ready to go. Kimberly and Andrew were patient and attentive to his needs and took him on a great hike on their one full day here. Kimberly also sent photos during the visit and afterward that made me really happy! Kimberly and Andrew are pleasure as sitters and I highly recommend them to you.

Laura was an excellent sitter. She was very communicative, easy to reach when needed, and a true pet lover! She took such great care of my cat, and even bought her special treats which I'm sure she loved. When I came home my apartment was perfectly tidy which I appreciated. I'd be happy to have Laura back anytime!
