It was wonderful sitting Yara, Nutmug and Mishu for Eve while she went out of town! Each bio Eve created for her pets perfectly matched their personalities and set us up with proper expectations. The two dogs, Yara and Nutmeg, slept with us every night. Yara LOVED to nestle herself up right beside Will under the covers, just as Eve said would happen, and Nutmeg was an ‘over the cover’ cuddle buddy with me. Mishu, the cat, was so cute and affectionate and often let me hold her as she purred in my arms. All of the animals utilized the doggy door which really made the sit a breeze. We took Yara and Nutmeg on walks daily around the neighborhood, which they LOVED. Yara lead the pack with Will while Nutmeg and I trailed behind. All three animals were jazzed when it was meal time, buzzing around the house with excitement and joy and scarfed their food down within minutes. We very much enjoyed our stay and meeting you all. She fed him, changed his litter box, and spent quality time with him. She texted me photos and updated me daily. I have used Cathy of SFYC for about 15 years. There were always multiple cats, (for the last 10 years, 4 cats) and she treats them with such care. She plays with them, brings them toys and stays with them for at least a half hour before she leaves. She literally saved one of my cat's lives by taking her to the vet in the knick of time when we were in Europe. I can't say enough about this business. We’ve been using In Home Pet Services for several months. We have two dogs: chocolate lab and jack Russell terrier mix. The chocolate lab was not a problem at all walker was able to take him out on a first visit. The jack russell girl took several visits and a lot of patience. Now we are getting help from pet walker even on feeding of both dogs:) while we are in hospital. For short getaways where we cannot take the dogs we will use In Home Pet Services to day sit two our dogs. Lastly the service is very flexible and reliable. Glad we’ve found this gem in our neighbourhood.

I found Michelle and her mom after my dogs daycare closed down. I can’t express how incredible they are!!! I have crazy schedule and they are always extra accommodating. My dogs love going there. Whether is for few hours, full days or for extended periods they ensure my babies are taken care of. You see the love they have for my babies. I definitely recommend them to anyone. If I need to drop them at 6am they are available. If I am running late they are available. Going on vacation they are available!!! They are super dog lovers!!
Had a horrible experience with these people. Left my dogs there for 3 days they called me 6am the first morning to come get the dogs because he was barking and they couldn’t sleep. The person I met was not the person who watched the dogs. My dog doesn’t bark so there was something wrong and making him uncomfortable. Either way the person who contacted me in the morning telling me I had to come get them was extremely rude and nasty. Don’t ever trust these people with your dogs. There are plenty of responsible dog sitters out there. Stay away from these people.

Michelle has taken care of my dog Max for over a year now. He adores Michelle and her whole family. She always updates me regularly when he's in her home and he comes home happy. Michelle has taken care of both my dogs Pepper and Stacy for over two weeks and I cannot feel more happy with her services. She has informed me daily on their progress and how they are doing and honestly this is the first time that they were left home alone so I was very skeptical but in her care I never had to worry about anything! Our pup Monty had a great time with Michelle! She was very sweet with our girl from the beginning and made us feel totally at ease. Monty surely has no critiques except to probably stay longer. I would have loved some more picture updates as it was our first time really leaving her but Michelle was so flexible and communicated a lot over text which was greatly appreciated. Can’t wait for her next stay!

It was our first time being away from our puppy since the day we got him, and they made us and my dog feel reassured about leaving each other. We left for vacation for a little more than a week. They are amazing at what they do. They fed him well, gave him his medications and took great care with him. The daily photos and videos made us feel less guilty about leaving the dog because he looks so happy with them and looks like he was having so much fun. I will definitely leave him again the next time I need, and will recommend to others.
We could not be more pleased with our experience boarding our pup for 2 weeks with Emily & Alan. From the start we were reassured that she would be in good hands. Alan and Emily are absolutely amazing! If I can give 10 stars I would! I reached out to the them to board my 7 month mini golden doodle for 2 nights while my family and I went on a little getaway. They were extremely sweet and were able to care for him. Our puppy has never stood away from home, never attended any day care or boarding. They were so welcoming and made him feel at home from the very start of introduction. Alan and Emily did a Video call assessment and a walk through of their lovely home, they were extremely thorough in explaining the process and made me feel very comfortable leaving my puppy in a safe environment. They asked questions regarding his vaccination records and sent history documentation forms via email to complete prior to our call as well as answered all of my questions and concerns with ease. I received photos, videos and updates throughout my time away and my puppy did GREAT! He was so comfortable and transitioned very well, it was amazing to see him socializing with everyone and the other dogs in the home. Communication, Professionalism and all the the above was outstanding. They were both an absolute pleasure and are definitely a keeper!
We are very pleased to have had our puppy Rocky been left with Emily and her family. I know that he was taken care of well and enjoyed his stay by the updates and pictures which were sent to us. Emily and Alan provided great care to our pup Chase while we are away. We received daily photos, seeing that Chase was having fun times with his furry friends brought more joy and relaxation to our vacation. They went above and beyond when our return flight was delayed til late at night, they stayed up late to bring Chase back to us when we finally arrived home. I would recommend them to all pet owners, I’ve asked them to care Chase many times in the past, always had great communication and great services from them.
A THOUSAND STARS!!!!! ☆☆☆☆☆ We LOVE Wet Noses for our rescue dog. We have been using their services for the past 3 years and cannot say enough wonderful things about Alan, Emily (and their whole family)-- they have been such a life saver for us and our pupper-- who tends to have some separation anxiety and would NOT do well in a kennel overnight. They have always been consistent/reliable, easy communication, and so kind/warm/understanding with our dog and her quirks. It's such a relief to know she is in good hands and in a safe/cozy environment when we are out of town.
Before meeting Alan and his family, leaving for a vacation was stressful because we worried about leaving our pup Zeppole for even one night. We can now go way and not worry! She is so well taken care of and comes home so happy! We love the daily updates and pictures. And we love how warm the whole family is...they make Zeppole feel totally at home. ***Update*** 5/2023 - a year later and still relying on Wet Noses to keep my pup when we are away. They are amazing!

Alan and Emily are the absolute best! Remi is my first pet ever, and I’m nervous about whether or not I’m making the right decisions for him all the time, but I feel completely safe and reassured by Alan and Emily every time I leave Remi in their care. I know that Remi is always well taken care of and that he’s having fun with his friends at daycare. I’ve also left Remi with Alan and Emily overnight on multiple occasions, and I never have to worry because they constantly update me with photos and videos. They are very attentive to his needs and preferences — I feel like they even know him better than I do sometimes! Also, Alan and Emily are extremely warm and flexible; they always try to accommodate my needs in terms of scheduling. I appreciate them to the max and recommend them 120%!
For two weeks at Wet Noses Pet Sitter, Alan & Emily cared with love and dedication for our beloved Dachshund-Canela; during this time the little sausage felt better than in her own home. She was always accompanied by friends of the same size as her, and under the supervision of a responsible adult, who daily provided photos and videos of our furry. BTW in the pictures she’s the little pumpkin. Highly recommend NYC Pet Services! I boarded my two dogs - my little senior Shih Tzu and my energetic Doodle rescue puppy - for four nights for the first time. I received frequent photo updates each day and the team was incredibly communicative. The team even gave them both a bath before pickup. My dogs been snoozing since getting home - a tired dog is a happy dog! I’ll definitely be using their boarding and daycare services in the future!
NYC Pet Services is the best daycare and boarding a pet parent could ask for. We had to leave our six month old puppy for the first time, and he had such a blast at boarding - receiving updates and photos multiple times each day made me feel so much less anxious, and I was so happy to see he was having such a good time. He made so many friends, and is so happy - he loves daycare so much! Everyone who works here is so wonderful, and truly cares about your pet - highly, highly recommend for anyone looking to leave their baby at the best daycare or boarding place.
Most affordable daycare in Astoria and worth it! They even plan a schedule like a child daycare! Staff sends photos and gives important updates on those days/times that you can't be with your pup. Hoping eventually for that puppy streaming service to check in, but until then, this will have to do :)
Grooming Review ! I’ve had my labradoodle for two years now and I’ve tried two other groomers in Astoria in the beginning and by far Jenn (@itsgroomsbyjenn) has been the BEST ! When she switched locations we had to follow her to her new spot. Not only does Jenn listen to how you want your fur baby’s cut, she is also the sweetest person I’ve met. I have never left disappointed after a cut, it has always been perfect. Even when I tell her not to cut the tip of my dogs tail “fur” she listens (white tip on tail). I can easily trust her by leaving my little one with her. If I can give more than 5 stars I would !
This was the first daycare we looked at and we have no complaints. Yogi started at 3 months old and is now 5 months old. He goes 4 times a week for half days and he runs there every day once we are on the same block. He absolutely loves Beth, Laura, and Juan. They are his day care family. They are all very friendly and very tentative to Yogi. We watch on the camera and Olga is very fast with cleaning up after all the dogs. I love all the pics and videos they send us everyday he is there. Yogi always has a smile on his face!
I have followed Jenny from another grooming place because that’s just how good she is. My dog is not the most easy to work with and Jenny puts him at ease and I think he’s finally starting to come around to the whole grooming thing. It feels so good to know that when I leave my dog is in the best hands. Super affordable and she’s so quick! Definitely recommend. I’ve included a before and after below :)

NYC Pet services provides the best boarding service in NYC area. I travel a lot and have used many bording services in NYC and out of state for my 9 month old Beagle pup but this place is so far the best in providing updates and answering questions quick. I would highly suggest this place, the facility is super clean. Will definitely use the service in the future. Checkout my happy puppy in pics below....
Jenn, the groomer at NYC Pet Services, is so great with my pup. Every time Dobby sees her, she tinkles a little from excitement! She is easy to communicate with and always listens to what/how I want Dobby to look after her groom/bath. Plus, she always smells AMAZING when she leaves from there. I can't recommend Jenn, enough. We are so happy with her services and would choose her again and again!
I can only sing praises about this spot! NYC Pet Services is our go-to for all of our pup’s needs! The entire staff is warm, friendly, and so attentive with our Leo- and he thrives in their space when we drop him off for daycare. I especially love the extra mile they go to wipe down his paws and give him a little spritz after playing- he smells amazing when we pick him up! The manager, Beth, is not just professional, but so caring, and you can really see it in her interactions with her staff, the dogs AND their owners. They’re flexible, communicative, and their pricing is more than reasonable! NYC Pet services and their staff have really gone above and beyond as a business- their clients aren’t just customers, but a part of a family like community they’ve fostered!
Hounds Town is one of the best places to bring your dog for boarding or day care. They treated my boy Hobi (brown/white Beagle) like family while I was away for a week. Hobi looked so happy with the other dogs, and I know he was given lots of love while my family and I were away. There was an outbreak of Kennel Cough when he was there, but he was already vaccinated and caught a minor case of it. Overall, I love Hounds Town and I will definitely come again when I need to board Hobi or bring him to day care!
Our dog is considered one of the family so leaving him in a safe and trustworthy environment is of the utmost importance when go on vacation. Our dog (StanLee) is always excited to go to Hounds Town Garden City and the tell-tale sign he has a great time is he is exhausted when we pick him up. One nice personal touch that we get from Hounds Town Garden City is at they post pictures on their private Facebook page. We look forward to see him playing with his new canine friends. We typically see him playing and having a great time while burning some energy. However, we do see him up to some mischief with his hound friends (see the pictures below). We thoroughly enjoy the service we receive at Hounds Town Garden City and highly recommend them.

Colleen, Lauren and the entire staff at Hounds Town do everything possible to make your dog feel at home, which allows families to have piece of mind when they're away. The facility is bright, clean and nicely decorated. They separate the dogs during playtime by size and take so many great pics of them together. When you're part of their FB group, you can see the photos of your fur baby having fun, which always brings a smile to your face. You have the option for an exit bath or spa treatment, which is great after a stay with lots of play. When our pup turned 2, we couldn't believe Hounds Town put up a sign, balloons, gave him a birthday crown and took pictures. How special!! The staff loves dogs and it's evident the minute you walk in the door and they see your fur baby. They are responsive, answer all of your questions and make you feel at ease. Many people in our town go to Hounds Town because of their incredible reputation. I highly recommended booking a stay or day care for your furry family friend! You can even schedule a 15 minute meet and greet prior to.
Staff are very welcoming to you and your dog. You know he is in safe hands and will be looked after. Sincere and kind o your dogs needs and to the owner. They have a excellent knowledge of a dog's behavior, which helps so much. Bailey loves going to play and knows he is safe, I know this too. They are exceptional! Best Ever!
Our baby beagles love going to hounds town twice a week! We love that they rotate the doggies so they have someone new to play with every so often. They get to go outside to get fresh air and sunshine. They are very tolerant of me calling on lunch to ask about my babies. Lastly we LOVE that they post pictures of the pups everyday so we know that they have a great time.
The employees here are truly amazing! They treat your dog as if they are their own and it means so much! My dog is pretty attached to me, but when he gets to daycare, he runs in and doesn’t look back! Because of Houndstown, he is great in social environments with other dogs! Colleen, Sarah, Lauryn and Erin (as well as all the staff) are so good to my boy. There’s no greater comfort than knowing he is good while his momma works! Mr. Cooper loves hanging out with all his friends. I can’t thank the staff at HT enough for providing such a special place for my guy!
This was the best doggy day care ever!! My 10 month old puppy Lilo had the time of her life and was exhausted! Workers were so kind and caring about the dogs! She was there for 9 hours and got a little report card when I came to pick her up.
I had to leave my dog with hounds town garden city for an extended time frame. The staff took such good care of my dog for the many weeks he was there. He came back to me beautiful and happy, Barney loves the staff at HTGC. The boarding and day care are great. The people that work there are kind and attentive. I will continue to bring my dog to them. I trust them with him very much. I did not have to worry at all about my dog while he was there, I knew he was in good hands! Best place .
I don’t have enough great things to say about HTGC and the staff there! Our American Bulldog, Scott has been attending Hounds Town for the last few months for daycare and boarding and has truly found a safe and loving place to spend his time. Scott entered Hounds Town a SUPER anxious and shy pup and has flourished into a confident, happy, and social dog. No words can describe how sweet, supportive, and PATIENT the staff have been to our sweet Scott. They go above and beyond to accommodate all of his needs no matter how big or small the request. Not only did they provide him with a safe space, they provided him with SO much love as well! All the staff has been responsive and fantastic with communication as well whenever we are away!!
