Sue and Geoff are a very warm and friendly couple who immediately helped us to feel very welcome in their beautiful home. Minty and Misty were a delight to look after - they have very distinct and different personalities but both loved to be outside walking and cosied up by the fire - just like we do! They are hugely affectionate and playful dogs which made it easy to enjoy looking after them both. Geoff left very clear and comprehensive guidance on how to care for both dogs and their very sociable chickens! We felt supported and trusted and truly couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful experience!
I had a nice stay while caring for Steve’s home and pets. His cat is absolutely beautiful and has an adorable personality, his dog hardly left my side - she followed me everywhere, brought me toys, and kept good company while I spent most of my time enjoying the comforts, peace, and quiet of his home. I happened to be there during some rainy days and when I wasn’t indoors being productive, I enjoyed walks and sunset views from the backyard. Steve was also very communicative, organized, and responsive during the process of coordinating the housesit. I would highly recommend and happy to housesit again.
Dunnie and Tess are an absolute joy. They bonded with us almost immediately, were attentive, and responsive to commands. They loved their walks on nearby hiking trails and seemed to have an endless supply of energy. Upon returning home, they had happy looks on their faces and were thankful to be back in their serene home under the redwoods (even more so if treats are offered up). Their mom, Tully, is very helpful and quick with responses to questions. We would consider returning should the opportunity match our availability in the future.
Sitting for Sarah and Damon could not have gone better. They are lovely people with a great admiration for the mountain community up here. Running Springs and the surrounding area provides almost limitless access to outdoor recreation. The drive up and down the mountain is spectacular as well. Enough about that, though, and let's talk about the kitties. Smokey and Sunny were immediately loving and playful with me. Two of the cutest cats I've had the pleasure of looking after. Both have their own distinct personalities, but also vibe with each other and get along so well. Waking up to them cuddling me each morning was theraputic. It wasn't in an annoying "Wake up I'm hungry and will not let up until I eat" type of way, but in a "Hey I love you and just want to cuddle" type of way. Such a great way to start each day. I could go on and one about how wonderful this sit was. If you are fortunate enough to sit here, you will have a grand time. Thanks again!
It was a pleasure to sit Luna and to meet Sasha. Sasha is very kind, organized and caring. Luna is lovely, we like her a lot and had amazing vacations with her. She was very affectionate, kind and easy to manage for us since we also have a husky (she can be a little bit excited with her neighbor the cat :) but no worries). We took Luna for nice and long walks with us like the one to the Dava Way which she enjoyed a lot. The house was also very welcoming, clean and confortable. Thank you Sasha for your attentions and your hospitality 🥰
This was a very enjoyable sit beginning to end. Karen's home is well situated, close enough to the Bath's city centre to easily take advantage of all it has to offer, but high enough to get a stunning view of the city throughout the day and night. Her home was very clean and she provided everything one could need for a comfortable stay. Karen was also very communicative throughout the sit and available to answer any questions when things came up. Maya, her sweet ragdoll kitty, may just be the cutest kitten you will ever see, and she has the loveliest disposition: playful, curious and loves to cuddle up to you whenever she can and take a little nap. Lovely experience.
