This entire family is marvelous! Jimmy and Andrea are an absolutely delightful couple and Alfie and Rosie are delightful, engaging teens. I had the best time, partly due to miss Daisy Duke, a lovely Westie who I was certain, even before I met her, would steal my heart. And she did! She really made me work for her trust but it was so worth it. The cats Whiskey and Jackson are the most social felines I have ever met. They talk constantly and always want a stroke and a scratch. Andrea and Jimmy made me feel so welcome and very comfortable in their 200+ year old townhouse. Andrea is very funny, charming and so easygoing. Neighbor Cliff was so helpful when the freezer got cranky and decided not to open. And other neighbor Jo was a great dog walking companion. This sit ranks as one of my most memorable in so many positive ways. I would wholeheartedly recommend this sit to anyone if they are so fortunate as to be chosen.
We are so grateful for the epic experience with the boys! Yoshi, Rio and Sven got a palace in our hearts forever. Erik has never sat a beagle before and what a treat to hear such a powerful and lively bark! Yoshi is such a sweetie and playful pup. Sven is THE most majestic cat this half the Milky Way galaxy. Dinty was so responsive and kind when an unexpected building fire alarm testing came on and had my back the whole way! Overall, a pleasant bunch of people and animals💖
Thanks to Rebecca for having me to sit in her lovely home. Tiggy is a lovely cat who has a unique character and loves her playtime and it was a real pleasure to look after her. The house is in a great location in lovely Topsham, with great access to the local shops including a great fishmonger and butchers. I would highly recommend this sit and look forward to looking after Tiggy again sometime.
I had the pleasure of caring for Mango and Mimi for a month. Abi and Rory are excellent communicators, very considerate, were transparent, and was prompt with responses from our initial conversation and throughout the sit. They were kind and everything was smooth from our initial meeting showing me around etc. They even set up profiles for me on their streaming services prior to my arrival which I thought was so sweet 🥹. They have a beautiful home,their building has a gym, pool, and a common area. Mango and Mimi are the most adorable babies ever it was very difficult parting with them. They are absolutely beautiful cats and well behaved. Both warmed up very fast. Mimi was the first, she loves snuggling, she loves pens, the laser pointer, documentaries and cat tv. She likes to be close to you or just in the same room. Mango will follow you everywhere he likes to play and find random items on the ground to chew on, he loves watching the snow and I think he likes aircraft he would get excited when anything flew by. They absolutely love treats and are so playful, playtime is absolute excitement. Mango can jump really high and will play with just about anything whether it’s the string on my hoodie, any string is fair game. They’re flexible and worked with my schedule they never wake me up when I’m sleeping in but once they see me moving they’d hop on the bed to say good morning and the same for bed time. Once the lights are out they hop onto their tower and they’re ready to go to sleep too. Highly highly recommend!
Peaceful stay with the easiest and sweetest pups in a comfortable, spacious, and inviting home with beautiful views. The home owners were very thorough and easy to communicate with and made me feel at home in the space. I had a bit of trouble connecting to the right internet upon arrival for my WFH setup and both Kelly and Brian were very attentive and responsive in helping get me set up with the correct WiFi. I really appreciated there responsiveness and open communication during the sit.
Beautiful Berkshires home for a peaceful respite. Both Shayna and Chester are very sweet. They were such good company when not napping! Deborah was clear in her communications and generously offered her car for use. I would be happy to sit here again.
