What a wonderful sit!!!

Zorro is such a sweet little guy, shy to begin with and then a constant companion and a real snuggle bug. Anya is simply joyful – always happy and loves everyone. Zorro and Anya made wonderful hiking companions – very good on their leashes with boundless energy for the trails. We particularly enjoyed our time with them on the trails at the South Yuba River State Park and Hidden Falls Regional Park. They are very contented little pups and easy to be with.

Nevada City is quite simply a “storybook” town, with an adorable downtown, lots of unique little shops and excellent restaurants with lots of variety (National Hotel, Heartwood, Three Forks)…the list goes on. The Saturday morning market is not to be missed!

Nadine and Joe have a beautiful home, set in a pretty and tranquil setting overlooking a pretty park. Deer and assortment of beautiful birds frequent the yard … it is a relaxing place to be.

Finally, Nadine and Joe are just truly kind, warm and generous people. They went well out of our way to make us feel welcome and comfortable during our stay. When their trip was cut unexpectedly short, they invited us to stay on and what a pleasure it was getting to know both of them a little better, they are truly generous souls.

We highly recommend this sit, you will be very lucky indeed to spend time in such a pretty place with such lovely people and sweet pups.

Isabelle and Francois have such a lovely and charming home! I truly enjoyed my stay and their amazing pets are a joy to take care of. The communication was great, and they left very clear instructions.
Thank you so much for choosing me to sit for Neko, Ramona and Margot. I highly recommend this sit.

This sit - practically perfect in every way.

Pets. To begin and the beginning, both Poppy and Elsie are a delight to care for. Poppy - the older lady, quite rightly, takes her time, on her morning wander. Elsie 'the yoof' is full of energy, will walk forever, is responsive to recall, loves a ball throw (Poppy will join in but, to her feet is all that is needed) and is most attentive. Both, ladies are affectionate, love to give a cwtch and stream of kisses. Both, also insist on going to the village pub, which I could not dissuade them from. Also, they are content to spend a few hours alone, and the welcome back is worth the going! There caring needs, and wants were made, gin, clear in the guide and with a detailed talk through on arrival.

Place. Chalklands is Home magazine worthy, wonderfully clean, classy, stylish but at it's heart a warm cartref (home). Practical too, there are super spaces to care for and cuddle the ladies with a great kitchen/garden room and boot room post walk. You will feel spoiled by the downstairs bedroom with ensuite and office. Never thought I would be happy to cover myself in stuff from 'Cowshed', but I smelt better for it!

Rockbourne, and the surrounding area is picture perfect. And with easy access to the New Forest, Cranborne Chase AOONB and the beaches of the south coast. So, a wonderful part of the world to spend some time.

People. Beth and Ian - former health care professionals - are, naturally, caring, considerate and consummate communicators. Also, incredibly welcoming and hospitable, they went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable with my role and my stay. Beth, in particular radiates kindness, and had even take the time to provide a, seemingly, bespoke fresh food starter pack.

In sum - a lottery win - of a sit.

Freddy is one of a kind. He’s got the greatest expressions. He’s loving, polite, funny, and loves his walks & time outdoors. I’ve never had the pleasure of enjoying the company of any animal like Freddy. Wow! He’s truly a gentle giant. Don’t miss out on this sit! 🦋

We had a lovely time in south Wales, we got to see a lot. Taking care of all the fur babies was a pleasure. They were all very well behaved and very loving. Had some great walks with Tara and Diésel.
Ashleigh was easy to contact any time we needed to ask something.
Loved relaxing in the garden too.
