Dirk and Sibelle were fantastic petsitters who immediately grasped the needs and individual quirks of our three older cats (Dirk referred to them as "the ladies"), and provided them with TLC. I very much enjoyed meeting them and even looked forward to our daily text exchanges. We would welcome them back in a heartbeat - highly recommended.
Firstly, we would like to thank Charlie, Adam and Ellie for an amazing four days. Ellie is absolute treat to take care of! She's, sweet, kind, gentle and loving. She was a little shy on the first 2 days but after that she really opens up more and more to you. The house is very pretty, immaculately clean and comfortable in every sense. The location is perfect, safe and lots of great food options around. The home is close to many great parks, and we was impressed with her swimming skills! There was a little confusion with the times we needed to take Ellie out, they were not on the listing but Charlie and Adam rewrote it and it was quickly and easily resolved. Charlie and Adam are great guys, the communication was perfect, very friendly and made our stay super easy.
It was a pleasure to sit for Stefania and Roy, she showed me the flat and all what I needed. The two cats, Moka and Vega, are easy to look after. At the beginning Moka was very shy, Vega was sweet and affectionate from the start, they are sweethearts. They love to play with water and Moka like to drink from the tap in the bathtube. The flat is nice and comfortable. Especially in the summertime it will be very nice to be on the terrasse and look at the lake. The comunication with Stefania was always fast and easy. I loved sitting by Stefania and Roy, I can highly recommend this sit.
Before the sit, I had clear, helpful and welcoming communication with David, and I looked forward to the sit with anticipated pleasure. I was not in the least bit disappointed, my stay was wonderful. The decor, furnishings, ornaments, pictures and photos were intricate and amazing. My bedroom was the most delightfully decorated and beautifully furnished, with its own ensuite. The tv was easy to operate (Clarksons Farm series 3 had just come out!!!!) and all other mechanical devices worked perfectly. I loved sitting in the garden watching the tortoises chase the cats. The 5 cats caused me much mirth as they were either grey or brown, but were indistinguishable. So it meant a degree of speed on my part to work out if they were all in for the night, but this just added to the fun of caring for 5 beautiful Burmese cats who looked so cute snuggled in their baskets. They were easy to care for and David was prompt to answer any of my queries. A supermarket was a 20 minute walk away along a lovely old pedestrian lane. I certainly was very impressed by David’s thoughtful gift from Daylesford Farm Shop. Thank you so much, David & Chris !
We had the most brilliant time at Megan and Brian’s house. They were most welcoming and their home is beautiful. The really special part was becoming part of the gang; we two humans accepted into this special little family of Frannie and Camper, George and Origami. We were delighted by four very different personalities who made us giggle and kept us happy. Ericeira is a beautiful spot and we took full advantage of its joys. The dogs are extremely good in cafes and bars and lie quietly watching the world go by. Thank you everybody.
We had an absolutely fantastic time at Lucy and Jake's home. We felt very welcomed as soon as we arrived and were shown everything we needed to know whilst they would be away. Snoop and Salt are very sweet and independent, they love to explore the large garden, munch on a sausage or two, and snooze in the evening. There are plenty of great walks straight from the house to take them on, they're both very well behaved and love a good tummy tickle. As well as being a beautiful and spacious home, the surrounding area is picturesque and calm. Situated away from any hustle and bustle, it's the perfect place to work or relax. We'd been prepared a lovely and clean room with an ensuite and separate wet room and an entire fridge for our stay, which was much appreciated. We couldn't recommend stopping at Lucy and Jake's more, the communication was great and we felt very comfortable and welcomed right away. We'd love to come and stay again!
We just wanted to take a moment to express our gratitude for your warm and friendly welcome. From the moment we stepped into your home, we felt like we were part of the family. Your house is cozy and comfortable, and it's conveniently located just a short train ride away from everything we needed. And let's not forget about your two furry companions, Cloey and Tinks. These two energetic dogs quickly became our constant companions during our stay. Tinks is a bundle of energy and always eager to go for walks and explore, while Cloey, being a bit older, sometimes needs a little help getting around, but she will come back home happy. Taking care of your dogs is a task that requires a lot of work and we are happy to have achieved the goal. Thank you again for entrusting us with your pets and your lovely home. Best regards!
