I really enjoyed my sit for Laurie. The location is beautiful and peaceful. I started every morning sitting on the back balcony drinking a capuccino while taking in a view of the Dolomites, oftentimes with one or two cats joining me. Although the days started leisurely they could get busy quickly. The yard is large and there are a number of outdoor plants and fruit trees, and with the extreme heat I experienced during my sit it was a bit of a challenge keeping everything green and happy, but Laurie has a good set-up with sufficient hoses and explained her expectations for mowing and weed/insect control thoroughly so although the weather made things more challenging the available resources were a huge help. I fell in love with every one of her cats and it was hard to say goodbye to them. A couple needed some extra care and I did need to reach out to the vet, but since Laurie had taken the time prior to her leaving to introduce me to staff at the vet's office and gave specific instructions, I felt very comfortable providing the care necessary to keep all the kitties healthy and happy. Additionally, Laurie provided a very detailed and useful manual that I referred to numerous times during my sit. Laurie herself was also accessible when I had a question or just wanted to share a picture or tell her something that one of the cats had done. She's a very interesting person and I was sorry that I had to leave shortly before she was scheduled to arrive home. It would've been fun to have a chance to say goodbye face-to-face. Laurie's house is very comfortable and she made me feel right at home before she left. I was hoping to improve my Italian during the sit and three of Laurie's friends were unbelievably kind and helpful in that respect. By the time the sit ended I felt like I'd made 9 new friends........4 human and 5 feline. It was a great month that I'll never forget!
We had a great time with Fluffer at this perfect location in Philadelphia. Lisa was very accommodating and communicative and we felt very comfortable. A great experience!
Our stay couldn’t have been better. Tera, Rich and Kai were always very helpful and attentive, we felt very well received and accommodated throughout our entire stay. Blanca is a unique dog, extremely affectionate, very calm and always very cheerful, we already miss her company and her conversations. The house is very well equipped, cozy and comfortable, we really have nothing to complain about. Only good memories remain and we already miss it.
Marsha and David were the most gracious hosts for my first pet/house sit. Chloe, their beautiful dog, is a very well-mannered, gentle and loving pet as is their cat Chilly, who is very independent but also friendly. The pets are very low maintenance. Their home is beautiful and clean, located in a lovely rural riverfront location. This was my first sit and I believe these owners have spoiled me for possible future sits. I respectfully cared for their home, property and pets and very much appreciate their welcoming hosting to me and to my far away friend who also came to visit me for a couple of days. I highly recommend Marsha and David and their happy pets.
