Catherine & Peter - It was an absolute pleasure staying with you! Thank you for opening your house up to me and leaving your dogs in my care. I must say I grew a little bit attached to them and the farm in just a week! As my first TH, I couldn't have wished for better hosts and pets. Applicants - C&P are one of the most hospitable couples you will ever meet. Their dogs, Maud & Mabel are extremely great company on vast farmland & surrounding walks. You'll enjoy your stay but do bring a car with you as it makes life easier.

This was a lovely housesit to do. There was a great initial connection and communication was perfect. A nice house with all the amenities you need. Totally surrounded by nature. Really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Chloe is a nice old lady that likes to be around you, brush time and loves her dine treats. And so close to Noosa and the national park. I would love to housesit for Sarah and Chloe anytime.
I had really an amazing time at Alistair's and Bianca's flat. Morty is a sweathart and a true gentlecat. He is very quiet and subtle. The location of the house is also great in quiet street and close to anything you may want. Aliatair and Bianca were wonderfull hosts and provided me with all I may need. I'd love to stay with Morty again and again. I already miss his beautiful face and smart eyes!
It was a real pleasure to look after Rebecca's cats - Hamish & Mowser. Rebecca is a very hospitable lady, it was easy to keep in touch with her during the sit, she would always respond to any query. Prior to the sit she made videos and left us printed house guide with all the necessary information. The cats are delightful, they became part of the family, we all just loved them, they are really affectionate and gentle. They obviously love people and enjoy being around people.But even more so they love their food and snacks! The house is really warm and comfy, my daughter even said it reminds her of a museum with so many pictures, momentoes and trinkets on display ( lovely to have a look at and admire) I would highly recommend this sit, kitties and Rebecca as a hostess. Thank you so much, we had great time.
Clover is the sweetest, quirkiest, most prescious dog. She's energetic and always up for a game of fetch (with a ball-balls are her #1 passion in life!), but can also curl up and nap for the afternoon while you work or do your thing. Debbie was super easy to communicate with, supportive and always able to be reached and left great instructions on everything. The house is spacious and comfortable and located within a mile or so of downtown Cloverdale so you can walk to a few things if you'd like--such as coffee, Mexican food, ice cream, live music on the square, or a convenience store. Clover loves her walks-but not for the walking so if you love long walks it's best to take her first for her sniff walk--where she prefers to simply go at a very leisurely pace, sniffing everything for a few blocks and then will turn around and tell you she wants to go home--and then go on your own, longer walk. It's also a good idea to check Clover's tale whenever she's coming back indoors from a walk or from being out in the yard as her tail tends to pick up lots of brush and/or stickers. I tried to keep a brush by the door and give her a quick brush whenever we finished a walk which she seems to quite enjoy :)) In the community here, there are great trails right outside your door, starting with a paved forest walking path that leads to a nature preserve with trails about 1/2 mile distance from the house. The preserve is a fabulous place for morning or early evening hikes and has plenty of hills to get your heart rate up. The neighborhood is quite, safe, and peaceful with plenty of friendly neighbords and other dogs that will know Clover when they see her. I loved my time with Clover and would happily take care of her/sit for Debbie and Daryl again.
