We really enjoyed our time at Philippa’s looking after all the dogs. They are wonderful company, all with their own special personalities. Don’t be put off by there being 5, they are a joy! We had some great walks around the area and spent the evenings all cuddled up together on the sofa. The house space and garden are great. The pool was a real bonus. Philippa left a highly comprehensive guide to everything and there was good communication.

I had a nice three weeks staying at Nur's place in Maidenhead. I was on my own the first two weeks, and then my husband joined me for the last week. I stopped by Nur's flat the day before her travels to pick up the key, say hello to Loya and Tuta, and walk through all the details. Nur was friendly and kind to share recommendations about public transportation and things to do close to Maidenhead. Her flat is in a quiet neighborhood close to a large park where you can work out and relax. The wifi is excellent, and the room and adjacent bathroom are private and comfortable. She responded immediately to questions I had and was happy with the daily videos and pictures I sent. Loya and Tuta are very sweet kitties. Tuta was playful and friendly from day one, and at the end of the sitting, she was very attached to me. Loya was shy at the beginning, but she opened up during my stay. It was enjoyable and fun to take care of them. The house is ten minutes walking to downtown Maidenhead and twenty minutes walking to the train station. A taxi is only £6 from the station to Nur's flat if you're tired after a long day in London! From Maidenhead to London Paddington, another twenty minutes taking the GWR express line. I am grateful to Nur for trusting me to take care of Loya and Tuta. I miss them already!
This was a pet sit in paradise with two special angels :) Texas set in lush trees (?) families of deer leisurely grazing in neighbors lawns, so quiet and peaceful. Absolutely the most gorgeous pet sit I've ever had. It was spectacular. Actually, breathtaking and I spent every minute of my stay in Canyon Lake at their lake side home, marveling at the beauty and basking in the undivided attention of Lanie and Lando who are the sweetest, affectionate lovebugs. I appreciated Kelly's Welcome Guide which had precise information about everything I might need to know, including the specific commands they responded to. They are both well trained , always listened and kissed at the drop of a hat :) From morning till night they were a delight. Our morning walks (follow Kelly's excellent Walk instructions in her Welcome Guide) with dew and deer were perfection. We lazed the day away gazing out the large picture windows, keeping warm, sitting in the sunroom daydreaming, cuddling, kissing :) with many soulful looks, massages and rump scratches. After another incredible sunset walk down to the lake edge, more deer families and squirrels, of course (Hold their leads tight and close :) we enjoyed more cuddles, kisses and massages until bedtime. Waking up to the view of the lake... I only hope I am describing my absolutely beautiful stay in Canyon Lake well enough ! Kelly is super sweet and gracious. I loved getting her fabulous pictures of fabulous New York City and the Rockefeller Square Christmas tree and the Bergdorf Goodman windows. Did I mention the Jacuzzi and kayaks she offered that I didn't have time to use while I was absorbing all the tranquility and majesty of nature all around me? Did I mention how extra wonderful Lanie and Lando are? Thank you so Kelly and most especially my precious Lanie and Lando. Twenty Star Sit!! Five Stars for each perfect pup and Ten Stars to Kelly and her amazing home on Canyon Lake. Best visit to The Lone War State ever! Thanks :)
Watching Nala and Mufasa was so lovely. They are super sweet, gentle dogs and got along with my two small pups very well. This is a perfect pet sit for somebody that loves nature and pups as much as we do. Rebecca’s cabin is not far from North Cascades National Park and being in the park was such a dream. You have to be careful about not letting Nala outside of the cabin when she’s not supposed to be out. She can be a sneaky one! She is so loving, though, as is her brother Mufasa.  The cabin was tidy and cozy. We love shopping at the Mazama store nearby! Thank you for welcoming us into your home, Rebecca. Your hospitality was not lost on us.
Kota is a good boy. He does great on a leash and knows his way around the neighborhood. He loves to play with his toys, too. He does great with commands like sit and lie down, especially when using a deeper, sterner tone. You'll make fast friends with treats (he knows that word, too). He stays on the first floor, and I enjoyed greeting him each morning with, "Hi, buddy." He made me laugh a lot, too. Nada is an excellent pet mom. She was quick to respond to questions, and had some nice amenities (brochures of things to do around PGH, comfy guest suite on the third floor, she even offered me a warm coat when the temps got really cold!). Nada also left good instructions for Kota and the home. She even let me know of an art show opening at The Mattress Factory, which I was excited about. I appreciated that because Nada remembered that I said I like art and The Mattress Factory. The Mexican War Streets is a great neighborhood. People are friendly - most folks said hello as Kota and I were on our walks. There is a lot of history and art, as well as an Irish Pub, an art gallery, a coffeeshop, and a small and cozy market. Randyland is a must-see, colorful museum a few blocks away, and if you're lucky, you'll get to meet Randy himself. The National Aviary is a ten-minute walk away and has fun exhibits (I got to see a toucan eat a grape!). There is a lot to do in Pittsburgh, but it's also great to stay in and give Kota belly rubs.
