Wylam is the sweetest dog and just loves to be in company. Once we had sorted out his 'issues', he was no problem at all and came everywhere with us. He hopped into our ver small car with alacrity! The home was warm and comfortable, and very well equipped. I recommend this sit if you get the opportunity (and especially if you enjoy visiting Roman sites, of which there are plenty close by. We were welcomed with an excellent meal which was gratefully received. Thanks to John and Julie for this excellent opportunity, and lovely softy, Wylam!
This was Jenny’s first time using a house sitter and she is a great host. I was made to feel very welcome and encouraged to make myself at home. Jenny had thoughtfully made space in kitchen cupboards and the fridge etc which allowed me to settle in quickly. She also made sure there was plentiful firewood for the wood stove and I enjoyed snug evenings in front of the fire. The house and garden are very comfortable, there are walks from the door, and lovely neighbours so I found it a pleasure to spend my time with Badger. Badger is a real sweetie, very gentle and walks beautifully on a lead, he can be a little anxious about random noises but responded really well to yummy distraction treats. He loves to meet other dogs and is very gentle when meeting new people. He and my labrador Milly had great fun and played together for hours every day. I think Milly has missed Badger and we hope to see him again for future sits.
We loved house/pet sitting for Laura, Geoff and family and had the privilege of looking after Percy. We fell in love with Percy, he was such friendly, loveable gentle giant. He was such a pleasure to walk and throw the ball for. Laura and Geoff were so welcoming into their lovely home and left such a comprehensive guide and manual. We loved our time here and could not recommend this house/pet sit any more highly.
Taking care of Alfie, Finley, and Bentley was hands down one of the best experiences we’ve had on this platform! They’re extremely well-behaved, low-maintenance, and overall, incredibly cute pets! They’ll wake you up when they’re hungry (around 7-7:30 AM) and also let you know when it’s dinner time. They’ll follow you wherever you go and simply lie down or sleep. When you walk them, they always stay close and come if you call them, which is super convenient because you don’t need to use a leash in most cases. The house is astonishingly beautiful! Waking up to the excellent view instantly makes your mornings wonderful. It has everything you need to just stay at home and relax. Thanks for the fantastic opportunity, Beth and Ren!
I had a lovely experience cat sitting for Cristina and her family! Nara is a beautiful and very smart cat, she loves the garden and if the weather is good you can spend time with her while enjoying the sun. She's very easy to look after and will let you know exactly what she needs! Cristina was an amazing host, communication was excellent. She's very kind and helpful. House and location are great, just a few minutes from the underground station and lots of buses nearby, you'll be able to go to any area of London easily. I recommend this experience with Nara and I hope to be back again soon 🐈⬛️💜
This was amazing sit! Zu and Mani are two of the loveliest people you can hope to work with while Gumby is beyond adorable and the best company to hang out with. In years of traveling and housesitting this has been one of my very favorites and I'm so glad I messaged them. The apartment is beautiful, spacious, and incredibly well equipped. Its location is literally perfect to enjoy The Hague from, right in the middle of the city but in a quiet residential area. Gumby loves his walks and the neighborhood is so friendly that you'll have plenty of nice conversations with neighbors while you're out with him. He's the most happy-go-lucky and personable dog you could hope for in a sit. He loves everything, people and other pets, and they love him too. He's thrilled to walk forever and he's just as happy to take a nap on the couch with you! Zu and Mani went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Both of their bikes are in great working order and there's no need to work about using any public transport, grocery stores are right around the corner. Their friend circle is fantastic, checked in on me and even offered to take Gummy out so I could explore the city more freely. I'd love to be back here anytime they're traveling but if you're lucky enough to be sitting here instead you're going to enjoy your time and tell Gumby I said hi!
