It was such a pleasure to watch and stay with Dozer! He was a gentle giant that is so loveable. We connected with Natalie before she took off and she provided us with all the details we needed. Sometimes dog sitters worry about letting a big dog off lead, but with Dozer he was very obedient and listened when called over. We would be honoured to watch Dozer again the future :)
Caring for Forty was a real joy and easy as pie once he overcame the initial anxiety of Ryan leaving after a few hours of growling by the door. Forty is a sweet dog and likes routine. I met Ryan in person for the key handoff and quick tour of the space. The location was incredible with dedicated parking and private balcony right on the water. The walks with Forty were along a scenic shoreline path. One note - There was a pet cam in the living room.
Charlotte and Dave are great. They have a lovely home and a super cat called Socks who is adorable, very friendly and easy to care for. He grazes his food throughout the day and tops up with kibble and a couple of treats. When he wasn't in his bed he would enjoy a cuddle on my lap and watch TV. He also liked to play with a selection of his toys for a short while. I was made very welcome and the Christmas decorations added something special. Their house is very comfortable and I enjoyed the range of TV as well as good WiFi. There is off road parking on the front drive and the location is very convenient for a wide choice of shops and nearby towns. I enjoyed a few hours shopping in Hitchin. Trains and buses are also a short distance. I was left a lovely gift of 'fizzy' to enjoy. Many thanks for a lovely sit......hic !! Hope to see Socks again.
I had an excellent time caring for Dusty and Lulu! Kathryn is an excellent communicator, providing all needed information, and Dusty and Lulu are absolutely adorable and so easy to care for! The apartment is in an excellent location with just a few minutes walk to Richmond's Saturday market, and a 3 minute walk to the tram line that goes to the central business district. The apartment has all the amenities that you would need and a lovely balcony to have tea in the morning. Thank you, Kathryn, for a great sit!
I had a lovely time looking after Bona in Muswell Hill. Bona was as good as gold and really wonderful company for the week. Her needs were exactly as described by Marta; she enjoys walking in the local parks, playing ball in the garden, attention when I was in the house, as well as snacking throughout the day. The area is beautiful, and the house very spacious and clean with a lovely back garden, big kitchen and comfortable living spaces. The distance to central London was a little further than expected, but Camden is within a short tube ride and the local area is worth travelling the extra distance for. Communication was good throughout, and I felt welcomed and appreciated during my stay.
Celia and Shay are great hosts with 3 awesome Cats and 15 Fun Chickens! The guest house was perfect for me and I was able to work at my computer during my working hours and still tend to the fur babies and feathered flock and go to the beach occasionally. I actually go to love on Cals a little bit (very shy). The Rockets going into outer space just down the road fascinated me! They were SO cool to watch from the house! I highly recommend them and their tropical paradise. It was very peaceful and relaxing!
