Amazing experience to sit Kevin and Josie’s place and pets. They are both adorable and lovely people who made us feel at home every second we were with them. Lola was the perfect dog, the only thing missing was that she couldn’t talk because her face would say everything!!! Zsa zsa would call you to pet her and she won’t leave you alone, so adorable! The place is incredible and to use their hybrid car was a total advantage. Would housesit here again with no doubts!! Hugs and kisses to all of you!

This was an incredible sit from beginning to end and one we will remember for a loooong time. We had the chance to meet Sharen before the sit started, who kindly showed us around the house and condominium and allowed us to meet sweet Truffle and take him for the first of many walks. Since then and throughout the sit, communication with Sharen was easy and warm. Sharen was the perfect hostess, sharing with us all the information about Truffle but also lots of places to visit, walks, restaurants, etc, and obviously sharing with us her super comfortable house that offered us all we needed to do some work or relax after days out with Truffle. Truffle is so incredibly well behaved, gentle and calm that you can take him EVERYWHERE and we sure did. We went for walks in the forest, coffees, morning runs, walks on the beach, food, waterfall swimming, drinks, etc, with our man always by our side. Everybody was always impressed with how well behaved and relaxed be was (even when 'teased' by other dogs). During this sit, Truffle had his little girlfriend around for part of it which showed his sweet and playful character. We miss having him around... If you are lucky enough to come across an opportunity to look after Truff, don't miss it. It will always be our pleasure to come back.
We stayed in Rachel and Tim’s house for 10 days during April this year. It’s a lovely and comfortable home, and ideally located a few minutes away from the Takoma village and the Metro (about 20 minutes to the National Mall). Chairman Meow and Monty are gorgeous cats!, and are particularly affectionate at the start and end of the day. Apart from that they usually keep themselves occupied sleeping or running the neighborhood 😊. They were great, and we miss them already! Rachel explained the working of the house thoroughly at the start of the sit. Her communication was excellent and we were able to keep in touch regularly even though they were overseas. She was very generous in a number of ways, and we would love to sit for her and Tim again if we had the opportunity.
I loved my weekend with Fig, Ellie and Snuffles - they are SUCH good company. They're easy to manage on the lead, even along the busy seafront. And they all kept me company on the sofa in the evening. The house was really comfortable and the location is ideal, just off the seafront and a few minutes from some great food shops and eateries. As for H and PJ, they couldn't have made me feel more welcome. 😊
I had a lovely time looking after Seven. Before the stay, Michelle and I went on a test walk to make sure I was comfortable. I mainly kept an eye out for other dogs and kept treats on me which made our walks easy. Seven is a big cuddle bug, and we became fast friends during my stay. She’s one of the sweetest dogs I’ve met! Brian and Michelle were very nice, easygoing, and communicative. The apartment has amazing views, and Roosevelt Island is a nice getaway from the bustle of Manhattan. This was my first time using TrustedHousesitters, and I really lucked out with Michelle, Brian, and Seven!
