They were excellent sitters for us and the house was exactly as we found it. The animals were happy when we got home, and they were communicative the entire time, asking questions when unsure and being very respectful of the space. Thank you to Kat and family for trusting us with their beautiful home and fur babies. The doggies, Abby and Tilly, are affectionate and fun. Tilly is bursting with energy and enjoyed long walks. Beautiful Abby is a bit slower due to her age so we would drop her back with one adult a little earlier. Recall was excellent for both dogs, they were a pleasure to look after and we loved their cuddles. The star of the show for the kids was Nigel the cat. He took a little while to warm up to us but then seemed to love being petted and chatted with. The chickens are fabulous and we’re easy to care for. The area was absolutely beautiful and we really enjoyed exploring. Highly recommended!
Absolutely nothing but positive things to say about these kitties and their lovely owners Moniek and Tristan. Communication, hospitality, amenities - everything was there. I could not have had a better sit than this one! If you get the chance to stay here and look after the house/cats consider yourself blessed!
My husband and I sat for Donna over Christmas 2016. Her home is comfortable and clean with everything you might need. She was a great communicator and a pleasure to sit for. Oh - and her cat is a total sweetie!
Anne was the kindest and most generous of hosts, taking plenty of time to ensure I was settled in, knew where to find things in the local area, and introducing me to neighbours. Bono and Kitty were a delight to look after. Bono enjoyed a good walk each morning but the rest of the day he was contented to sleep or cuddle (watch out, he sometimes forgets his size and wants to sit on your lap like the cat). He has a very sweet nature and loves his bread treat each day. Kitty likes to cuddle and settle on your lap, especially in the evening. Gergal is a friendly and what I would call a typical working Spanish village, which means some Spanish is useful even if it's just to ask for coffee and toast or a beer and tapas in the local cafe/bars. I loved this house sit and was delighted when Anne asked me to return for an extra 3 weeks.
Our experience with Jack was very good. Jack is a very cuddly and at the same time energetic dog, he seeks the closeness of people and is very playful, young and full of life. Rachel and her husband were very welcoming, kind and helpful. Their house with its garden is wonderful, from the living room windows you can enjoy a spectacular view. The walks in the surroundings are very pleasant. Thank you for everything!
Lola was the most exuberant, loving sweet dog we’ve looked after. Very excited when she first met us but quickly calmed down. Sadly she was a little lame in back leg so we couldn’t take her on walks but she played gently in the garden and loved nothing more than sitting with us (usually on us) wherever we were, the sofa is definitely her domain! We had an informative quick handover and everything was straightforward and James was always very quick to respond to any queries. This house is old and characterful and based in a superb location just off the main high street in Broadway. So many lovely Cotswold villages within 15 mins drive. Fabulous walk up to Broadway Tower 10 mins away. A lovely winter sit in a beautiful village, especially as Christmas lights went on which were spectacular.
