We had the best experience with this housesitting. It was one of those housesitting that make you want to keep doing it. Lewis is a wonderful dog, very friendly and well-behaved. He loves to go for walks and cuddle on the couch. The neighbors are very kind and helpful, always ready to chat or lend a hand. The location is perfect, close to everything you need. The house is gorgeous, spacious and comfortable. We felt at home from the first day and we are so grateful to the owners for trusting us with their lovely place and their adorable pet. Loved housesitting for Clara and Marcel. Their apartment is very nice and comfortable and has absolutely everything you might need. Pepe was so easy to look after. He is adorable. He loves taking naps (like me) and running around chasing the laser. I had a great time in Düsseldorf with Pepe.
I have the pleasure in giving my feed back of my two hose sits at Trish's home.Trish so graciously picked me up at Manchester airport and on arrival to her home she kindly showed me in detail the runnings of her home and leaving me information she thought l might need for my stay to go as smoothly as possible .This process certainally made me feel so welcome and instantly comfortable and at home.Trish has a lovely home and a sunroom and outside garden that l tended to migrate to often.My favourate part of this house sit was how wonderful it was to have a water park so near and l took every opportunity of walking along the river and experiencing the beautiful natural sights.Matty the cat was so easy to take care of;all that was required was a little bit of love and food ! It was a great house sit at Trish's and l would not hesitate to do it again in the future.
I wish I could leave a "777" Stars review for my 1-month stay with beautiful Beau in Jim & Dawn's beautiful townhome, in the beautiful little college town of Davidson NC. Everything I could want or ask for in a wonderful housesitting stay. I loved every minute! Beau is a well-adjusted, smart, kind, adorable, clean, empathic canine Being. Fun and very easy to walk him in the utterly charming neighborhood. Neighbors are friendly, whether or not they "know Beau." The college campus is quite close - another great place to walk amongst shady trees, lawns, & safe, winding paths. Good food in walking distance (great, yummy burritos at the place 2-3 blocks away, with a charming, dog-friendly patio...) & quite a few other nice places for good food, good coffee, or a glass of vino with chill, neighborhood vibe as well. Check out Pickled Peach, 77 Grounds, Sabor Latin Street Grill, & Hop & Vine; just a few favorites I'd recommend! But if you like to cook and eat at home? Let me just say that Jim and Dawn's home is a wonderful place to stay cozy at home, watch a movie, read a book, or play pool (yes, there's a nice pool table!) Make fresh yummy food from the Saturday morning farmer's market or close-by supermarkets in a gorgeous, clean kitchen. Beau will quietly hang out nearby; the perfect good-boy companion. If you have a car (as I did) it's very easy to park right out front, and not far to anything you might need beyond the walkable Town of Davidson. Downtown Charlotte is easy to access by car if you'd enjoy exploring the full-on urban scene. Jim & Dawn provided easy, supportive communication. Perfect amount of details by conversation & in-writing prior to the sit. Goldilocks email/texting (not too much, nor too little, just right) from their overseas location. Everything was easy on my side, and hopefully they felt the same ease while away from home. I feel like I'm gushing a bit (*pink cheeks). As I said... this was a pretty AWESOME sit. It's a few days since I said goodbye, but as I write this I'm still super-chuffed that I lucked out & was blessed with this opportunity. Thanks to Jim & Dawn for sharing your peaceful, impeccable home. And "thank you" to Beau for being so nice to keep company with during my stay on the shores of Lake Norman. I hope I will have the chance to return, that I might see y'all again soon.
This was the perfect sit experience and I recommend it fully. Everything, from Andrea’s communication, welcomeness, to her tidy very comfortable home and of course, her amazing pets. It was my first experience sitting for a rabbit and Napoleon actually won my heart over. I am used to loving without attachments so many animals, but curiously I felt tearful when I had to leave him on my last day. Mars is a cat-dog and will ask to play with you or check whatever you are doing. My days were spent between talking to Napoleon, entertaining Mars, and doing some work, with shy Murphy checking all this from a distance. Andrea’s home is a very comfortable top floor renovated apartment set in an older building. It feels like a house and the guest room bed where you will sleep is as comfortable as a high end hotel bed. And on top of all this, I have never experienced Montreal it as I did in Andrea’s home. The location is so central that anywhere you want to go is easily accessible by public transport or walk. The view from the private terrasse is spectacular and you get the real feel of Montreal.
I had such a great time sitting for Rachel and Mitch! Their home is in a great neighbor and beautiful. I had such a great time with the cats! I would love to sit for them again :)
