Cat Sitters in Hodgkins, IL

I think our dog, Mookie, is depressed since Alibe left because they had such a good time while we were away. She sent us regular updates about Mookie and our home. She was a wonderful communicator who sent us regular updates. We came home to a well-loved doggy and sparkling house. We feel very lucky that Alibe decided to spend the holidays with our Mookie. She's the best!

Lauren was very responsive before, during, and after our sit! It is always nice to have peace of mind when leaving your pet and home for a few days. I got plenty of pictures of Ezra during the sit and he looked super happy in every single one! The house was tidy upon my return. I would gladly host Lauren again!

It was a pleasure to meet and have Annabel and Art care for our pup, Cosmo, and stay and care for our home. From our first meeting on zoom until our texts to finish the sit I had full confidence in their ability to do all we needed. Our dog was happy and calm and our house was in great condition when we got home. They were great communicators when they had a question during the sit and sent thorough updates and pictures periodically, which we loved. This has been a great 1st experience with TH thanks to Annabel and Art!

Claire was a responsible and self-sufficient sitter for my condo and poodle mutt Wrigley! She sent photos and updates everyday, brought in packages, and left the house tidy for my return. I wouldn't hesitate to invite Claire to sit again!

Amber and Ben are nothing short of amazing! They took care of my dogs, house, and plants while I was out of the country for two weeks. Of my dogs was recently adopted from a puppy mill and has a lot of anxiety with new people. They were patient and kind with him and really worked to make him feel comfortable.  Amber sent me pictures every day, reassuring me that my dogs were also having a good time while I was on vacation. They left the house, really clean and tidy. Also, they must have a knack for taking care of plants, because I left them with a lemon tree that was on its last legs, and when I came home, it had grown new leaves, and was even blooming! Besides, all that, they are really kind people, very responsible, and super organized. Don’t hesitate for a minute to leave your precious pets with them. They will take good care of them.

Krista is a great cat and house sitter. Our cat know and loves her, is in good hands with her. Our house is clean, with flowers when we returned. We would recommend her.

Taryn was great! She was able to stop by a week before the sit began so that we could show her around and meet the cats. During the stay, she kept us updated with pictures and we returned to a clean home. I highly recommend Taryn and would love to have her sit for us again!

Esme is a delightful person and made an immediate connection with the cats. I felt very confident leaving them in her care, although we spent only 45 minutes together between her arrival and my departure. The cats also warmed up to her right away. Esme kept the garden in excellent shape in very high temperatures. Everything looked like it got enough water and for that I am very grateful. When I returned to the house, it had a bad smell, which I discovered was from food in the garbage and, oddly, opened cans of cat food back in the cupboard, not in the fridge. She may not have read my recycling guidelines because everything was in the trash: paper cups, plastic bags, food. Also, she used the AC, which is fine, but all the windows upstairs were open, so in addition to making the system work harder, I returned to an 80-degree room. That said, she was there primarily for the cats and she did a great job with them. I would have liked to have daily updates, which many petsitters provide, but she responded to all my texts promptly and let me know if either of them were not in at night. More orientation time might have eliminated the issues I had. I would have her back again with no qualms.

Laura was an excellent sitter. She was very communicative, easy to reach when needed, and a true pet lover! She took such great care of my cat, and even bought her special treats which I'm sure she loved. When I came home my apartment was perfectly tidy which I appreciated. I'd be happy to have Laura back anytime!

Paul was great! He sent a ton of updates when he was taking Ripley out and included pictures. The house was left exactly the same way when he left. He asked great questions and was just terrific with Ripley. Paul was awesome! We were never worried while we were gone.

Cailie was an amazing dog sitter for Rhu. She was very communicative and left my house cleaner than I left it. I definitely hope to connect in the future!

Olivia was phenomenal. She was a great communicator and planner prior to the trip, but the time she put in to watching Parker was really what stood out. They went on so many outdoor adventures together! He was a happy and well taken care of pup. She also followed the home instructions perfectly and the house was even cleaner than I had left it upon my return. If Olivia is an option as a sitter you will not be disappointed if you choose her. I would gladly have her back in a heartbeat!
