Erin & Matthew
Erin and Matthew were wonderful to work with! All of the house rules and pet care/routines were very detailed and easy to implement. Omen and Evie were absolutely fabulous company, and very easy to care for. The neighborhood was quiet and family-friendly. I would highly recommend this sit for anyone who would like a long or short visit in Portland!

Marjorie
The cat, Salome, was worth meeting ... communicative, curious, sweet, gorgeous fur, athletic, and very happy to have cuddles during Netflix. We were only housesitting for a few days over New Years Eve. The housesit location is very good, near to Amherst but fairly rural. Marjorie is easy to communicate and coordinate with. We had winter driving challenges on the way over and she was helpful, clear and accurate. Zero complaints; definitely recommend this housesit.

Anne
This was our first house and dog sit via the site. We were also unsure whether anyone would accept us as sitters with a dog. So we were so grateful that Anne and her family were willing to trust us with their beautiful home and their wonderful dog, Benson.

The family welcomed us with open arms and were so generous and hospitable. We had a very comfortable, well equipped en suite guest bedroom and free use of social spaces, including the summerhouse and garden.

The highlight of our sit was the friendly ball of calm, Benson. He was a delight to care for as he is so well behaved, friendly and loving. He and our dog got on so well together and we enjoyed plenty of adventurous walks and lazy afternoons of cuddles in the conservatory.

We came with a car which was great for exploring the beautiful area but there are walks from the front door and a bus stop opposite the house if life didn't want to drive.

We had good communication before and throughout our stay with Anne who left very clear instructions and maps to local walks as well as all the essential info we needed.

We felt throughly welcomed and looked after. A superb introduction to the world of housesitting!

Eileen
Wonderful experience. The home was lovely very clean and comfortable. We prefer to be in the country, on acreage, with privacy, so for us their property was perfect, very peaceful and pretty. And the animals are the real stars of the show - an absolute joy to take care of. Ricky and Sally are the sweetest cutest most loving and affectionate dogs and Daisy the cat is very special too. They truly left their mark upon our hearts. Communication with Eileen was excellent and also very pleasant. Clear instructions for care of animals and always available if any questions. We would happily sit for Eileen again.

I had an amazing experience housesitting for Gabriele. He is very kind, welcoming, and easy-going. Von and Wim were adorable and great company. The location is pretty central with a nice view of Toronto. Gabriele also recommended things to do, which was very helpful. Highly recommend, no concerns or issues.
