If you're lucky enough to house sit for Stephen and Susan you have really struck gold!! They are the perfect hosts, explaining everything very clearly and they are exceptionally hospitable. Toffee and Fudge are wonderful dogs, we absolutely loved them! Toffee is really the lady of the house...she's always keeping watch on everything with a lovely nature and is very calm, however she can give Fudge a good run for her money when it comes to playing and tearing around..she also loves to play football and is very good at it lol! Fudge is a lot of fun, always up for playing and is super affectionate all the time. Both dogs are well behaved and perfect off the lead, they come when called and don't stray far. The house is a dream with everything you could possible imagine including the best pool ever. it was boiling hot weather when we were there and a quick 5 minute dip every now and then was the perfect way to stay cool. All in all a perfect house sit and would love to return. Thank you Stephen and Susan and Toffee and Fudge! xxx
It was a pleasure to look after little Oscar, and Darren and Sheridah are such easy-going people and made me very welcome in their lovely home. Oscar is very much a people-dog and loves company; he's not overly keen on other dogs so Darren went to the trouble of showing me some good places to go. There are plenty of green, leafy areas, and Tennyson is close to the river, so Oscar and I shared some really nice walks together. We became close buddies and it was very sad to leave him. Thank you Darren and Sheridah for trusting me to look after him - I loved it.
My teenage daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed Peanut, Sir Cornelius, and Alice. All three have their unique personalities and funny little quirks. Caring for them was easy with lots of land around the home to explore off leash and lots of sticks for Cornelius! The main part of the home wasn’t as clean as I like but the Airbnb portion was spotless. Instructions for the pets for the most part were on the fridge and others were sent via text. Matt and Krista responded quickly to messages and kept in touch while they were away. I would recommend this sit experience especially if you like nature and loving, friendly animals!
We stayed for three nights in April and Blayne’s spacious and clean home looking after Tika, Boots and Scrappy. Tika was friendly and timid. We loved her soft ears and sweet eyes. We took her for several walks on the beautiful trails nearby. The two elderly cats Boots and Scrappy were friendly and easy to get along with. April & Blayne were also very friendly and easy to communicate with. We can definitely recommend this sit!
We had a very pleasant stay at Laurie's, in the village of Barbentane near Avignon. Laurie welcomed us very warmly into her house, we spent a very good evening together over a good meal, thank you very much for that. The cats are beautiful and adorable, they quickly warmed up after Laurie's departure and we took advantage of these adorable companions. The village is very pretty, the villagers and tradespeople are very welcoming, we took lots of walks among the olive trees , Provence is superb, a delicious stay, thank you very much.
