This was such a lovely sit, the 2 dogs Rolando and Tootsie are loving and playful, they love to snuggle with you but equally are very well crate trained. I let them sleep with me on the bed and they were very quiet all night. Tootsie takes some liquid meds by mouth in the morning and this was easy peasy. The birds are easy to care for too, Chris gave a virtual walk around introducing me to all the birds and clear instructions. The birds go to sleep for around 12 hours a night once you cover them and they are fun to chat with. Chris and Sherrie were great communicators and very kindly allowed my parents to stay with me, who were visiting from Scotland. The garden and porch are lovely to sit in whatever the weather, and the proximity to Hawthorne is a massive bonus. I would highly recommend this sit and hope to do it again if the calendars allow.
We had the pleasure of sitting for Penny and John, a warm and welcoming couple. Communication was excellent; they provided clear instructions, including helpful videos, and promptly responded to our questions and updates. Their beautiful, light-filled home was recently remodeled, quite comfortable, and very clean; we also appreciated the ample space they left for our belongings. Their location is a short walk from a variety of cafes/shops and public transport. Caring for their indoor/outdoor cat Velvet was easy and she was a sweet, affectionate companion. We would be delighted to sit for Penny and John again.
I really enjoyed this sit, Luna and Spyro are two gorgeous bunnies and, as bunnies go, they are quite friendly and interactive. They are the least timid bunnies that I have cared for so far and I loved watching their antics as they ran around the house, and groomed and washed each other. The house is comfortable, with some lovely characterful features, and in a great location for walking in and out of the centre of Gloucester. The neighbours were quiet and although you can hear some noise through the walls it wasn't anything intrusive or disturbing, the street was also quiet. I slept really well while I was there which, for me, is a rarity. There is a Tesco Extra just at the end of the road which is very handy to pick up some supplies for your first meal, and there are larger supermarkets not too far away if you need to do a big shop and plenty of restaurants and take away food places within easy reach. Steve and Connie are very welcoming and left good clear instruction regarding the care of Luna and Spyro and household tasks like dealing with garbage, re-cycling etc. All in all a great sit and I would be more than happy to return, thank you Connie and Steve for having me.
Tara was very welcoming and had great daily communication with us. Two lovely boys who were fun to play with and easy to take care of. Hope to be invited back in the future.
