Margie is very sweet and affectionate, and very easy to care for. Her home has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Moreover, it is located in one of the prime Vancouver locations, close to a large park and lovely beach, both great for dog walking! Margie’s pet parents were very well organized, and communicated clearly. An easy and very satisfying dog sit!
What a fantastic house-sit! The house is amazing, a beautifully designed space, spacious with incredible views over the ocean on one side, and green mountainside on the other, with spectacular sunsets, and a huge balcony to enjoy them from. Olive & Maggie were lovely to look after, and I enjoyed their unique personalities. We took one beach walk together each day, which was always enjoyable, and otherwise they often followed me around the house, if not snoozing on the couch. Kathryn & Dylan were great hosts and left the home perfectly presented for me. We had regular communication and Kathryn always responded quickly if I needed anything. I’d return to hang out with Maggie & Olive, and to stay at the incredible place without hesitation!
We fell in love with Winston instantly - he is a little bundle of cuddles and a joy to take care of and play with. We all settled into one another's routines quickly and effortlessly and had a great time together. It was a dream to take care of such an easy going and well trained dog. He is a super healthy, fit and strong pup who loves long walking adventures and running, whilst at the same time loves chilling and snuggles in the evening with you. Eric, Sylvia and Winston's home was gorgeous, cozy, spacious and comfortable, but what blew us away was the spectacular view of Songaksan and the glorious sunset every evening. The cottage is deep in the countryside, offering a variety of stunning walks and picturesque views. We really benefited being surrounded by nature, peace and quiet which was very healing. Having the use of the car made the whole island so accessible and our stay very comfortable. The home is clean, tidy, has a well stocked kitchen and a very comfortable bed. Those homely comforts contributed to a very pleasant stay. Sylvia and Eric are such a generous, warm and welcoming couple. Their communication and hospitality exceeded our expectations and we are wholeheartedly thankful for their generosity and kindness. We highly recommend this house sit and hope to help out again in the future.
Dax is a lover! I truly enjoyed this cat that has so much to say in the morning and when he’s ready to sleep at night. The apartment is lovely with access to everything you need in DC.
This was a wonderful experience getting to spend Easter weekend with Strudles. Oliver and Ida are extremely kind people and were very welcoming when I arrived, they gave me a thorough run down of all of the apartment and best care for Strudles. Strudles is the sweet kitty, sleeps for a good portion of the day but also is very personable and wants to hang out with you while you’re watching television. The location is great, located by so much greenery, walking paths into the city and the metro not so far away as well. Thank you!
There are so many wonderful things to say about Win, Neil, and their cat Monte, but not enough typing space to contain it all! They are such kind and welcoming people with a great sense of humor and we became fast friends. Communicating was a breeze and they kept us up to date with information on the house and Leek. They went above and beyond, showing us around town and sharing the best walking and bus routes for our stay. Win and Neil are truly genuine people and made us feel confident in an area that was new to us! Their home is gorgeous and has a spectacular view of Leek, which is a lovely town that we loved exploring. It has beautiful old architecture, great local shops/cafes/restaurants, and was within walking distance! Now for kitty cat Monte: he’s perfect. Full stop. He is a total sweetie pie, loves his brushing, and loves staying close by to wherever you are (on his chair or your lap). He was easy to care for and we loved doing it, so it was hard to say bye! We just hope we can come back again one day!
