We are so grateful to have met Lauren!! She took amazing care of Kobe, he loved hanging with her. Lauren sent lots of pics everyday and he looked so happy. The house was super tidy when we got back, and she also left us a beautiful card with a couple gifts - so thoughtful!! She went above and beyond. We have Lauren doing a longer sit for us in a few weeks and we feel fortunate to have someone we can rely on! And on top of everything, we get along so well, we definitely made a new friend here in PR!
I had the most fantastic stay at Charlotte and Rakesh’s home in Almere - Mila is such a beautiful, good natured pup who is so easy to care for and is such good company. The area is lovely and peaceful with really great forest and park walks all around, as well as everything you could need in walking distance. What an absolutely beautiful home to stay in, it feels very nice, clean, and homely while having all the amenities you could possibly want. I highly recommend sitting Mila, she is just divine and I will miss our lovely daily routine of walks, cuddles, and relaxation. Absolutely pleasure to housesit here, thank you so much for having me Charlotte, Rakesh, and Mila!
We arrived to this beautiful house and both Linda & Neal showed us everything about their home and Wilson. The house is amazing, it has plenty of space and a beautiful garden on a side of a small lake. Wilson is a lovely dog, easy to take care of due to his obedience and good behaviour. He loves the company and will always follow you everywhere with any of all his toys. He is very calm and well trained even though being a little puppy
House sitting for this family was a true joy. It’s hard to say whom I like better, the animals or the humans! The kitties are a wonderful bunch, and Bentley is just about the easiest dog in creation. The house is comfortable and Jason and Greg were so warm and inviting, I was totally at ease. I’d house sit for this gang again any day. :-)
We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely home and surrounding. Jaz the dog and Milly the cat were a pleasure to look after and no trouble at all. We enjoyed the walks-Jaz even showed us the way to a lovely little pub in Soberton during one of the walks. So we enjoyed a great meal there later that evening!! Would thoroughly recommend this sit. Many thanks to Lucy and Jeremy.
Sitting for Beth was a fantastic experience! She is so easy to work with and very communicative. Her dog, Mara, is the sweetest, and we all fell in love with her (adults and children alike). The house was very clean upon arrival, has all the modern conveniences, Beth left a very complete guide to the home, and our stay was nothing but extraordinary. I highly recommend sitting for Beth and hope to do so again in the future!
We only had a short stay with Lolly and we loved every moment with him. We had some lovely invigorating country walks with Lolly, even though it was wet and muddy. We were fortunate enough to avoid the showers and Lolly thrived on walking/running/romping off lead and drinking the rainwater off the grasses and from the puddles and also rolling in the wet grass fields. Mud was no problem for Lolly, it just meant a hose down on return to the house. We took some fun photos of Lolly on his walks to send to Sarah Lolly knew his territory and led the way a lot of the time, over fields and through country lanes which was especially handy on our returns to the house, as we didn't have to keep checking the map. There is plenty of walking directly from the house and Sarah left maps of interesting walks further afield involving a car ride, though we didn't have time to take advantage of the walks further afield this time. Sarah and John also own a large pasture across the road which can be used early morning or evening for a short toilet walk, though we spent quite some time wandering around in there on our last morning. We can recommend the church cafe in Swanmore run by volunteers, their cappuccino is perfect and home made cakes delicious. At home, Lolly is an attentive companion, a best pal. Lolly has the garden outside and when inside, he has a huge soft doggie bed with comfy blankets situated with a view of the garden. Sarah greeted us with much appreciation when we arrived as it was a last minute sit. Sarah gave us a tour of their beautifully renovated home and explained a few things before she left, she also left us with an extensive written list of explanations and suggestions which put us at ease. Communication with Sarah is excellent. Sarah and John's home is light, bright and sunny (except for when it is raining) with lots of windows and skylights. Super comfortable, spacious and clean, a lot of thought has been put into their family, country home, it was a privilege to stay there, especially with Lolly as a loyal companion. On Sarah and John's return home, we were able to get to know each other better before we reluctantly had to leave. Another sit that we appreciate and can highly recommend. Thank you Sarah and John.
