Chris & Su are a lovely couple and made us feel extremely welcome, we had a wonderful meal on arrival and had an enjoyable evening. Their home is beautiful !! We had a beautiful room with a very comfortable bed and our own spacious bathroom, we really enjoyed our stay in their wonderful home in a great location. The girls Mila & Rocky are delightful, very well behaved and easy to take care of , Rocky is a plucky little thing with lots of confidence and very friendly, Mila is a proper lady she’s quite shy at first but it doesn’t take long to win her over and then she doesn’t leave your side , they are both adorable girls . They really enjoy their walks and love nothing more then going off in the car with you , there’s some lovely places to visit nearby one of our favourite was Sarlat-la-Canéda the girls know it well and we enjoyed a walk round the town and then to the local park nearby, they are both good off the lead . All in all this was a really enjoyable sit and if your lucky enough to stay here you will have a wonderful stay . Thank you Chris & Su for you hospitality and hope to see you again
Our house sit at Sam and Adam’s place was our first, and it couldn’t have gone better! Here’s why: 1) Sam and Adam are seasoned pros. We were in frequent contact before and during our stay. Sam has put together a manual with clear directions for pet feeding, how everything works (we were coming from Canada), how to get around, and was quick to respond to any questions. Total professionals! 2) The pets are lovely. I have never seen two more snuggly dogs than Riley and Didi. Oreo was always happy to come in for pets as well. 3) The location is excellent. If you want to see the big sites in London, there is a bus stop outside and a train line nearby. If you enjoy a nice walk – everything in Chiswick is only a quick hike. I give Sam’s place the highest recommendation, and a hearty thank you to Sam and Adam for an excellent vacation!
We are very sad that Mallee gave us such negative feedback which has stopped us from getting house sits. However, despite this poor review we have been to Singapore, Brisbane and now off to UK. We were unable to proceed with the sit and advised in plenty of time - at one stage Mallee wanted us to arrive at the house after she had left and go into an empty house with a dog we did not know. Since we had previously had one of our dogs attacked by a staffie we were not happy to do this and if our flight was cancelled or delayed the poor dog would have been in trouble. I find it difficult to imagine that we could be given zero points for everything since it was unknown how we would care for the home and pet. We have run our own dog minding business in Noosa, and have never had any clients that were unhappy with us and in fact many don't book holidays until they know we are available to mind their pets.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Lois's comfortable house. Tamino the cat shared it with me with great courtesy, and was an affectionate companion. We much appreciated the automatic heating which activated in the unexpected Canberra chill, and cuddled comfortably on the couch watching TV in the evenings. He was happy to stay in the garden during the day when I was out visiting galleries and museums, and was there when I returned, waiting for me - or, rather, I suspect, for his dinner, which he consumed with as much speed as the feeding puzzle would allow. He could be vocal and hungry when there was human activity in the kitchen - but I managed to adhere to his special diet by feeding him a little and often. Lois left clear and adequate instructions about care of the house and of Tamino. I would highly recommend this pet sit!
Chuck and Shelley were so welcoming, and very informative of everything needed for the sit. They implored I make use of the sauna, so I took advantage of it. It was incredibly relaxing!
