We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Vesper! He really is an awesome boy, full of character and love. Wherever you go he goes! Vesper is absolutely no fuss at all. So well behaved it's a real pleasure yo be around him. We loved our walks around Denise and Neil's fabulous garden with Vesper and the close proximity to the park from the house meaning no need to drive for beautiful woodland walks and open fields. Denise and Neil were easy to communicate with before and during the sit. They have a fantastic home in a beautiful location. We were so comfortable and so at home we didn't want to leave! Highly recommend!
This was a wonderful sit. I fell in love with River and Cedar and they were such good company during my stay. Cedar was a constant companion and liked to check in whenever she could. River looked at me with such soulful eyes I never wanted to leave the apartment without him. I enjoyed the open and airy space with its carefully tended plants and cosy places to relax. The surrounding area is great to explore as well and I enjoyed the coffee shops and quirky stores. I wish I lived closer by so that I could return and say hello to these adorable dogs.
I don't really know where to begin this testimonial for Dan and Sharon! This was by far one of the most fabulous housesits I've had in the three years I have been doing this. Their home is so beautiful, warm, and inviting, and the environment is just like being in a retreat far away from the city. Nevertheless, there are numerous stores and the usual retail services within walking distance, and others just a few minutes-drive away. And you are only 15 minutes from Santa Cruz and Capitola to the south. Additionally, they are only about a five block walk to the beginning of several loop trails that give you fantastic views of Scotts Valley and go into the Redwood forest. Simply amazing! Dan and Sharon went out of their way to make sure that I was comfortable and had everything I needed, even leaving me a welcome card when they left for their trip. Max, the cat, is an absolute lovey! He loved to have his belly rubbed, would come and circle your ankles and rub against your legs, and was very good about his feeding time. He even loved being in his cat stroller outside and would definitely let you know when he wanted to go out. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect house sit and hope I have the opportunity to house sit for Dan, Sharon, and Max again!
I really enjoyed my house sit at Emile's place. It was an absolute delight to look after these gorgeous pets Ziggy and Franky. Both of them were very affectionate and playful, the house was nice and clean, close to Burrill Lake and the beach. I can highly recommend this house / pet sit and I would not hesitate to go there again.
Busya is an adorable cat, easy to take care of! She is a playful girl and loves to spend time on her balcony during the day. Nadya is a great host, she helped us to get to her place from the bus station, and we had a chance to meet before our sit. The apartment is cozy and clean, and located not far from the old town. We really liked our time with Busya in Ulm!
I’ve been on TH for over 2yrs at this point and this was by-far one of the best! Homeowner(s): such great people. Even though they were away in Europe, they were always just a text message away and left the house in tip-top shape before they left. House: just absolutely gorgeous. Being a digit nomad, I appreciated the WFH setup but even more importantly, this was a house that actually did coffee “right” ☕️. Anything you’d need from a store was <15 min away and the neighborhood itself was so quiet/peaceful. Pet: Luanne is a true sweetheart. Even though I rarely saw her, when she did make an appearance she never gave me any issues. She has her own automatic feeder and litter-box so taking care of her was a breeze. This is very much a sit I hope to do again!
