This was a most relaxing sit and get away, in a lovely rural setting. We met with Doreen and Bob the night before, had a very enjoyable evening with them over a lovely meal. We were introduced to their beloved pets - Rudy, an easy going gentle character, Lily we rarely saw, accept for food and then Cleo the senior of the family was was happy to just hang around. The hens were a delight, we especially enjoyed their freshly laid eggs each day. Their garden has such character, from the lily pond bursting with goldfish to the rose scented pathways, lots of corners to sit and relax. Rudy loved to be with us - he was great on walks without a lead, also loved to come in the car, and sleep by our bed. He was such a pleasure to have around. Even on the few days that were wet and cooler we were able to enjoy the comfort of the wood burning stove. We found the phone coverage to be weak, but that didn't interfere with our taking in the beautiful countryside and the quietness of this home setting. It was really hard to leave and would love to return some day. Highly recommend this sit.
Ms Henderson and Ms Moneypenny are absolute darlings and a pleasure to spend time with. Alienor, Rob and little Austin were so kind to welcome me for the night before and I really appreciated being shown how to walk, feed, and love the girls properly! Made my trip up to Liverpool so much more fun
