Carol and her husband Kim worked out to be a huge blessing to us, when our previously confirmed housesitter who is the first to apply, suddenly canceled on us! I do believe I have learned my lesson about confirming the first applicant rather than interviewing multiple applicants before making a decision! Had I done this, I would have chosen Carol and Kim right away! The evidence of their being the best applicant for us, was confirmed almost immediately upon their arrival. Our kitties approached them and were comfortable with both of them right away! That says a lot to cat owners who consider that some people are “OK” with cats and others are simply perfectly suited. Carol had researched the unusual breed of our cats before arriving, and that meant so much to us! Indian Summer and Snowshoe were so well cared for, that when we arrived home the transition was seamless! They also had experience with chickens, but had never cared for guinea fowl before this house sit. They stepped right up and all went very well! Caring for guinea fowl can be quite the challenge, but they were excellent caregivers and personally invested in their well-being. I will not hesitate to invite them back. Although the weather in Maine during the month of April is never very good, they made the best of it and hope they will consider returning to enjoy our Beautiful summer or autumn, and the kitties who also miss them!
Exceptional sitting experience for us. Kellie communicates quickly and shares enough detail to let you know all is well without inundating your inbox. Our home was in pristine condition when we returned. Highly recommended!
