Tracy is just about the sweetest little old lady I've had the pleasure of sitting. She's so cute and snuggly and a real pleasure to take care of; and remarkably spry for her age! I really enjoyed our daily walks around echo park. Amy was a terrific host, with a high vibrational, clean, and cozy place. She was very communicative and made sure I felt right at home!
Sarina is a kind, friendly, generous host who went to great lengths to make us feel at home. Her house is very comfortable and in an ideal location for walks along the coast, woodlands or up on the South Downs (most of which can be reached within a 15 min drive). Martha, Rudi and Bentley are great company and love being fussed. We really enjoyed snuggling with them all in the cosy sitting room in the evenings. Bentley has one of the loudest meows we’ve ever heard; Martha is a bundle of love and fun and Rudi is full of energy and excitement, especially when it comes to food and walks 🙂 - he's usually fine, but sometimes his excitement is too much for him and he needs to be on the lead. All three of them are very sweet, great company and we will miss them! A really lovely sit.
What a great sit in the Tantallon area with Sugar! From the start, communication with Laura and Paul was seamless. Before the sit, we got a tour of the house in-person and were able to meet Sugar so we were set to go as soon as we arrived. Laura and Paul referred to their home as a zen retreat and we found it to be just that! Although we work full-time on sits, we were able to enjoy some lovely fires in the evening and go for some scenic walks with Sugar. We loved feeding the ducks, wild birds, and having some deer visit. You're tucked away nice and quiet, while still being within 5 minutes of the main shopping hub for basics. And last but not least, Sugar is the sweetest (true to her name) senior dog ever. She loves being wherever the humans are and is a napper extraordinaire. While she needed typical senior care, she was always energetic enough to want to get up on the couch and bed to cuddle with us. She’s a great buddy! Thank you Laura and Paul for a great sit!
We really enjoyed our weekend in Clifton with Digby! He is a very sweet dog who is independent but also likes cuddles. I saw a review about him not liking other dogs, but he was super friendly with all the dogs we interacted with on walks. He sometimes reacts to things that are loud or that surprise him, for example a man on a skateboard and a child on a loud toy bicycle, who were both quite close to him. So it’s good to keep an awareness of your surroundings. It’s just when he feels frightened, that’s all. Sarah was easy to communicate with prior to the sit and during. Her home is large and very homely, we felt very relaxed. We loved Digby and would happily sit again in the future.
We had a wonderful time house sitting for Magali and looking after Zendaya. She is the sweetest kitty. Magali has a beautiful home with great access to restaurants and the train station, making it easy to explore the city centre. Thank you for having us!
