From the start Tom and Diana were quick to respond and very helpful. They took great care of my cats, one of whom has some health issues. Both the cats were in great spirits when I arrived home, meaning they had the attention they wanted while I was away! My apartment was cleaner than I left it! They washed the linens and remade my bed which was really kind and appreciated. I hope they'll be ready for a trip up this way again when I next need to leave town! Thanks so much, Tom and Diana!
I was given a very warm welcome by Kim and her husband, we had great communication from the moment we connected. The house is in a really quiet road, with very friendly neighbours, and the instructions were clear and printed for me. There are a few quirks with some of the windows/doors, but it certainly did not affect the sit at all (except when i accidentally broke something in the bathroom trying to sort out the bathroom window! I of course offered immediately to replace it). Mumbles is a really lovely little town, with beautiful coastal walks. I don't drive and still found plenty to do, all very accessible. The girls, Milly & Molly were an absolute delight. They are both so loving, they will follow you everywhere! They don't tend to walk much nowadays. The first few days, i probably got them to walk a little too much (although i stuck to the suggested amount of time), and Molly showed clear signs of tiredness. As soon as i cut down on the time, she was fine. They really are a delight to be around, and it was quite hard to say goodbye! Kim, thank you for having me.
This was a lovely sit in a charming part of France. Communication with Michelle went very well, and our room was clean and fresh. Daphne is the cutest cat and loved to play in the evening, she also likes to sit on the balcony and watch the world go by through the day. Daphne loves attention and has a gentle nature, not demanding and very sweet.
What a wonderful ten days in this oasis of peace. Spending time with Gunther, Gatsby, Giza and Gomez filled me up with feline cuddles. Each has its own special character and each one is affectionate. So easy to care for. Their home is a beautiful, well equipped old French house on the outskirts of Montpellier. I did a ton of exploring in the area from river walks, to nature houses and urban meanderings. Tanya was so easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this sit.
Lovely, sweet cats. Kaola wants to be stroked a lot and Rufus is Mr Cool. Venus was poorly, but I suspect that she is as sweet as her sister, when not ill. The apartment is perfect if you’re in Venice, as it is in the heart of the Dorsoduro district and so easy to walk to shops, museums, restaurants etc.
Ella and Tim are the perfect hosts and pet parents, it was a pleasure to meet them! Everything was ready for us when we arrived, and communication was great before and throughout the sit. Lilith and Nyx are the funniest, sweetest cats you will ever meet, it's impossible not to smile around them! We LOVED spending time with them and miss them. Their apartment is beautiful, super clean and their kitchen has absolutely everything you need. It is very close to the beach and several shops, cafes and restaurants. We had a wonderful time, and we highly recommend this sit.
Eileen and Jeff were wonderful and Levi is just a joy to watch over. Their home is really comfortable, new and clean and they gave perfect instructions about everything. Levi is a really loving and obedient dog. He has easy simple routines (like "go lay in your bed" when getting his meal together) and he is super easy to walk with in the beautiful, DC neighborhood. The area is great for walking with lots of parks around. Levi likes to go nuts when he sees UPS trucks and after about 3 -5 seconds and a simple "good boy - ok thats enough", he is back to a calm and people non-pulling walk together. I highly recommend this sit, Levi and Eileen and Jeff for any sitter. It was a pleasure for me to spend time in their home with Levi.

She’s extremely knowledgeable about how to care for dogs, flexible with my timings, and just an overall pleasure to talk to. We recently picked Lucy up from a 16-day stay, and not once over that period was I worried about how she was doing. Anna Marie went above and beyond - she sent frequent photos and videos, brushed her out daily, worked on commands, and even took it into her own hands to figure out what food Lucy needed when she was being a picky eater. I am an EXTREMELY over protective Dog Mom to my 5 yo French Bull Dog Brodie. I have been searching for a dog sitter and trainer for him as long as I can remember, but I’ve never been satisfied leaving my fur baby until I found Happy Heart Pet Care. I will say I love to spoil my boy and only the best will do, however, this also meant he got away with a lot more behavioral wise then he should. So I needed to find someone knowledgeable that I could trust with my boy… I haven’t been able to find someone reliable that not only had the experience to help train Brodie, but that I felt comfortable trusting to care for him. Anna Marie checks all the boxes. She not only has helped with Brodie’s training, but I trust her to care for him as if he was her own. She is truly our dog nanny! Brodie loves Anna Marie and he has become such a better behaved boy since he was introduced to her training and care. Having a person who not only will train your dog, but love them the way you would is priceless. He respects her and she has a great relationship with my boy teaching him with obedience training and socialization. All the dogs she cares for are very well behaved so he has her pack to learn from as well. She also is a great resource for a number of suggestions and advice with regard to your pets health and well being. She is always the first person I call or text to ask any questions with regard to his health or needs, which is invaluable. She is one of the most kind and understanding people I’ve met in LA and I have no doubt I would ever find someone who cares or loves Brodie more as a trainer or dog nanny than her. Needless to say I highly recommend Happy Heart Pet Care. Your life will be easier with your dog if you use her, trust me!
So grateful to have found Happy Heart Pet Care--they are the best! I have an adopted pound dog who is super skittish (and bark-y) with new people and for the past 4+ years, has not been comfortable with other dogs. She LOVES Anna-Marie and Matthew and, after just three visits, she is already changing in wonderful ways--less skittish with new people and excited to play with other dogs, which I never thought possible. Anna-Marie is incredibly kind and accommodating, thoughtful about introducing new dogs to their environment, and thoughtful of skittish human owners, sending them photos of their happy dogs. I contacted them because of the consistently amazing Yelp reviews (a rare thing), without realizing they're on the west side of LA. My dog and I are way on the east side, but still travel there because knowing my pup is safe and happy with people she loves and who genuinely care is worth everything.
Matthew and Anna Marie are both so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about dogs. Their love for our 9week old Darcy is so heartwarming! I certainly had my concern leaving a young puppy with other people for a week, but Matthew and Anna Marie stayed very communicative. They also helped me on getting to know/adjust for a puppy. I could see Darcy was so well cared for through photos/detailed text updates. Truly appreciate their existence 💙
Anna-Marie took care of my 1 year old shih tzu puppy, Tater Tot, for almost 3 weeks while we were away. She was wonderful as she was very flexible with drop off/pick up times, and gave Tater Tot lots of love but also trained him! Tater is much more calm and well behaved now! He was brushed everyday, made many new dog friends, and enjoyed his walks. Anna-Marie updated us with cute photos and videos of him and we can’t wait to have him back with her again!
Where do I start? So thankful for Matt and Anna Maria. Matt has been a life saver with behavior modification with my sweet girl Cocoa. Cocoa is a hyper-vigilant rescue pit, with a few social challenges. Matt not only was able to with patience and professionalism, earn her trust, and help with her behaviors, he was also able to teach me, ways to manage when she and I are in the wild. He is very hands on, and teaches key fundamentals when handling a dog, and working with the world around them. I literally on multiple occasions have been able to handle situations without panic and stress due to Matt’s training. Cocoa also has been managing her stress better as well. You are equipped with the knowledge literally after just one session, the most rewarding thing is seeing the transformation in Cocoa. She has come such a long way. Happy Heart Pet Care has been a blessing. I highly recommend. 10 out of 10!

They are highly experienced and had my aggressive rescue dog showing improvement after just a few sessions! I’ve also used their services when traveling. We found Anna Marie on Yelp and trusted the good reviews she had- it was the first time we left our puppy with someone she didn't know and in another city. We loved Anna the first moment we met her, she was super kind, and you could tell she had a lot of knowledge and experience with dogs. We saw our puppy liked her from the very beginning and felt safe with her- we left her one full day and, when we picked her up, she was super happy and looked like Anna took great care of her. I highly recommend her; she is amazing!

Renata and Rebeca are amazing!! We left on a 10 day trip and we were anxious about leaving our dogs. With Marge (our new rescue), the thought of boarding her was depressing since she was fresh out of the shelter and just getting used to being in a home again. Rio Pet Hostel provided a comfy, more personable alternative to boarding. First, we did a meet-and-greet where we met Rebeca, Renata, and their pup Mandy outside their apartment. We then went into their place so Kevin and Marge could explore the environment. Kevin and their dog Mandy immediately started playing (Kevin usually doesn't play) so we knew it would be a good fit. The apartment is extremely dog friendly, complete with a dog teepee, pet-safe balcony and lots of toys. We asked lots of questions- the dogs are never left home alone, and Rio Pet Hostel is comfortable administering medication (Marge was fresh out of surgery when we had to leave so that was key). They also love bringing the dogs outside to the dog park or beach, so they aren't just sitting around with zero stimulation. When we picked them up, they gave us 2 printed photos of our dogs from their stay and a little gift bag of dog treats! It was so nice and adorable!! They are extremely flexible with pick up/drop off times, and the ability to pay via venmo makes things super easy. While on our trip, we received daily updates consisting of amazing photos and videos. It was reassuring to see that we left our dogs in great hands. I've attached some of the amazing photos we received from Rio Pet Hostel while we were away. They are seriously stunning- I don't think we will ever do regular boarding again. Rio Pet Hostel also provides daycare, dog walking, and home visit services. Check them out- you will not regret it!
Rio Pet Hostel Hollywood is a GEM! I can't believe I am so lucky as to have found them. My dog Daisy loves them - she gets excited every day/time she comes over! And she is one tired pup when she comes home from all the fun she has! I always get adorable pictures and videos so I know what Daisy is up to, since I miss her when I'm away! The girls always work with my schedule to help me out, and I appreciate them so much. I hope I never have to find another dogsitter ever! Rio Pet Hostel is NUMBER 1!!!!
I love my pup Anya so much and would only leave her with people I really trust. I’m so glad I found Rio Pet Hostel. Renata and Rebeca are so sweet with her and are great about sending pictures, videos, and text updates. Anya is a bit timid around other dogs and I’m glad we have Rio Pet Hostel to look after her when I’m away and also give her a chance to socialize with other dogs in a safe environment.
This place is AMAZING! I’ve had my little pup stay with them overnight for one day all the way up to 9 days when I went out of town. The ladies that own this business are nothing short of living miracles! They have accommodated me on short notices and when travel plans changed. They keep in direct contact with you through your pet’s stay with photos, videos, and text updates. They even gift you a little bag of treats when you come to get your little one. My pupper loves it so much there that she doesn’t seem to want to leave when I come to pick her up! 15/10 will use this place again! No need to look any further than Rio!
Renata, Rebeca, and Mandy took fantastic care of our dog, Dipper, with all their hearts, bringing him in like one of the family, if only for just the weekend! Everyday was filled with photos and videos of Dipper popping up on our phones for our own peace of mind. Dipper had a great time and came back to us as his happiest self. They even gave us a professional photo of him and a treat to go! 5 stars is not enough!

These girls are literally my lifeline. My dog (Maus the grey Whippet) is my most precious thing in my life and as I go away for long stints for work (most recently over a month) I need to have piece of mind that she is being beautifully cared for. Maus can't wait to go back because it's way more fun with them than with me!!! They take her in as part of their wonderful family and for that I am eternally grateful. Their prices are so reasonable and what you get is literally beyond measure. Maus always comes home looking happy, healthy and content. I couldn't recommend the Rio pet hotel highly enough. Highly recommended! Mark is great with dogs - walks and training. He really helped my dog learn how to not pull on the leash and to interact with other dogs safely. He has been very consistent with dog walks and has worked with my ever-changing schedule.
We traveled from San Diego to LA for a concert and planned to leave our two pups in our room. Although, our hotel allowed pets they did not allow us to leave them unattended. Mark was very flexible and accommodating on such short notice. We met him within 30 minutes from contacting him and felt like we could trust him to watch our babies. During their time with him we received updates on how they were doing. Our babies returned with happy tails. We will be reaching out to A Big Dog House whenever we are in LA. Thanks Mark!
I highly recommend Mark for all pet needs. He is not just a pet sitter or a dog walker, but a respected animal behaviorist who came recommended to me by a fellow bulldog owner with years long experience with him. From the moment I met him, I could tell that he had a special conversation going on with animals. My dog was super calm hours after meeting him. As a single bulldog mom, the thought of putting my baby in the hands of rotating strangers, or programs where my Butch would just be a number, was painful, so meeting Mark was a huge relief. Mark is a Zen master when it comes to dogs - his calm and warm demeanor instantly put our chi/JRT mix at ease. In less than a week, Mark had her walking with the pack, and we came home to a stress-free and happy doggo. Mark has a gift with animals, and understands what makes them tick.

Our two pups were so well taken care of and Maiara provided the peace of mind so we could actually relax on our time away knowing that our dogs were cared for as if we were there ourselves. One of our pups is a senior (15.5 year old husky!) who takes medication and Maiara was amazing and patient with him. Senior pups come with their whole own set of special needs and she showed so much compassion and genuine love for dogs. First time Westcoast Paws client and the pet sitter was contracted for 9 days, 2x day, 30 minutes each visit. Wren stayed 8-12 minutes on average and did not show up one full day. She left the door ajar one time, and one cat got out. Luckily, she was able to get her back inside. I explicitly told her we have coyotes in the neighborhood, and on my block, four cats and one dog have gotten caught in the past 3 months. Per the contract, she was to feed the cats and clean the litter box daily, and make sure the water bowl was replenished. Food was set out, labeled along with measuring cup. She managed to feed one cat six cans of prescription food and a large bowl of prescription food, which was an insane amount of food for nine days - The floor around the auto water bowl was overfilled and water on the floor. Westcoast Paws promised pics and updates on how the kitties were doing, but I received zero pics and one update from Adam. Thank God for Ring video. The owner of Westcoast Paws, Adam, was a delight to speak to, but unfortunately, he has to bear some of the responsibilities. Dog walkers & cat sitters are entering our homes and trusted with our beloved pets. I dont believe Wren cared for cats. How difficult is it to clean a litter box.. I told her that one of my cats would NOT use a dirty litter box and that he would poop on the floor if the litter box was dirty. That's exactly what happened! Not once did she clean the litter boxes. We agreed that she was to come no later than 10:00 am and no later than 9:00 pm. She arrived after 12:00 noon and again 6:00 pm or 8:00 pm. One day she arrived at 12:00 and came back at 4:00 pm and the next day 12:00 pm! Never again. Never! If I could edit my review on Thumbtack, I would.

Both my partner and I have just had such a wonderful experience. Evelyn has been an absolute gem. Our dogs adore her and get so excited every time she arrives to take them out. Esther took wonderful care of my two green parrotlets. When we got home they were so calm and happy. I could tell that they had been well treated. The cages, seed trays, and water were clean. The birds are not always easy to care for because they are little nippy escape artists. My husband and I were very pleased.

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of working with Adam and his wonderful team member, Evelyn, for several months now, and I can’t express how grateful I am for their help. My partner and I both suffer from chronic illness, and while we do everything we can to care for our two long-haired Chihuahua boys, Wally and Reishi, sometimes it’s just too difficult to take them on the long walks they love so much. Adam, the owner, and his team of reliable, responsible, trusted, experienced and loving pet caretakers are exceptional and the only petsitting service I employ and will ever employ. It's clear to me that Lady Baba, my 4 year old and very particular cat (with an even more particular owner), feels genuinely comfortable with them, as she actually let's them pet her and comes to greet them upon first introduction - which is very unusual for her. Adam arranges for an intro visit where you get to meet the sitter, introduce them to your baby, and show them around and walk them through the caretaking protocol. When I met Remal, I knew she was a winner from that very moment. Even when Remal wasn't available, Adam sent another INCREDIBLE petsitter, Natalia. And when neither of them were available (it was a very last minute booking and over a holiday weekend), Adam pulled through with another amazing and loving petsitter, Paula, yet again. Oh, and he is very accommodating to helping you out last minute. Haha. I couldn't recommend Adam and his wonderful and lovely network of petsitters at West Coast Paws more. This places has literally been a life saver for me and my boy. I have an extremely anxious and dog reactive bully breed dog named Algebra. I needed boarding last minute due to scheduled care falling through. Staff approved me last minute and were incredibly kind and communicative and flexible due to my stress and anxiety over the situation. Since that initial booking, my dog boards or goes for daycare almost every week and under the specialized care program seems to be enjoying himself as much as he can, making lots of human friends. I love the update photos I am sent, and any time there is an issue, staff communicates and is very responsive. Staff members are friendly, professional, and make the whole process easier and I love to see that my anxious dog has developed relationships with people other than me. I want to give a little shout out to the night crew (night staff often go under appreciated). It is a little pricey, and I wish they were closer to me and my work, but for the flexibility and peace of mind this place gives me, it’s totally worth it. Thank you so much, wag Hollywood staff!
Shout out to the amazing staff that took care of our Kingston this weekend! They did an amazing job. Our doggie recently lost his dog brother of 11 years and has never been alone during boarding. We were worried how'd he react. The staff made sure he was well taken care of. Highly recommend, the special care services if you have a senior needy dog ( like ours ) that don't like to socialize with other animals. We traveled from San Jose & loved the Hollywood location while we were in LA. The updates were the special touch we needed to know we choose the right place. It was his first time here and won't be the last. We even checked the cameras a bit late at night ( almost 1am) and realized our anxious dog had a potty accident. We called the hotel and the issue was immediately addressed. Love , love this place! Thanks again Wag hotel staff !
Where do I even start! I’m a new Dog Mom so when I knew I was leaving town for the week , I immediately worried about my dog LADY! I wanted her to stay somewhere she would feel safe and loved; and WAG Hotels Hollywood did just that! 😭💙 The moment I walked in, everyone was so sweet and the place was so clean! My dawg Lady was so excited like she knew she would have the time of her life here! 😂 Andrew was so nice while checking us in ! They asked all the necessary questions to assure Lady’s services were catered to her every need ☺️Lady got a well done groom by Josh, and I was able to see her live on camera during her play times! Wag even made sure to call and give me updates on how she was doing ! They have a way of making you feel very special ! 🥹 My all time favorite part was getting multiple pictures of her each day ! In Each photo my baby wore a smile ! ☺️ I’ll add the photos so you can see the joy on my baby’s face ! With Wag Hollywood being 24/7 I get to rest easy knowing my baby is being taken care of ! And I have to give an ultimate thank you to Wag Hotel Hollywood’s General Manager Ronnie ! He is the sweetest! Ronnie helped make this process go so smooth for me, and my dog loves him! I can’t wait to use Wag again for my future trips!
Boarded my cat for the first time. The facilities were clean, the staff was super friendly and accomidating. Shout out to the overnight crew especially, who took my calls and gave me updates on my kitty with compassion. My cat didn't enjoy being away from me so he was hissy and closed off but it gave my peace of mind that he was professionally taken care of and they gave him lots of pats, treats, and understanding. I especially liked the daily photos and webcam where I could check in on him at anytime. I would definitley use the service again in the future or recommend it to anyone who needed a long term pet sitter or boarding situation.
I’ve had my dog Buddy stay at wag for extended stays and daycamp and every experience has been exceptional. He always comes back happy and you can tell he was well taken care of. I love that they send you pictures throughout the stay, keeping my mind at peace. I recommend wag to anyone who’s looking for a place for their dogs.
Sable regularly goes to Wag in Hollywood for daycare and always has a great time. The staff is always so pleasant and attentive. Sable is always welcomed by name. I love the live fed of the Wag cameras. Sable recently had her first over night stag at Wag and she had a great experience. It was my first time ever being away from my girl, but I was confident and at ease leaving her there. Oliver at the front desk is always so nice as well.
Wag Hotel was great with my dog Zippy, especially having to trust a place with your pup during the 4th of July. They sent a few photos a day which helped with my peace of mind while out of town and gave a full report of his stay upon his pick up. They also offer 20% off your dogs first stay which is a great deal !!! Thank you to Wag Hotel for taking such good care of zippy. He even left with a bath !!!
We've brought several pups to Wag Hotel in Hollywood over the years and have had nothing but positive experiences. The dogs love being there, and are not necessarily as happy as I'd like them to be if I have to pick them up early. It's a great place, your pups will be happy there.
Marc and Lori treat my pup with upmost love and care! She runs to the door excited every time we drop her off, and we get photo updates every single day. There are times when we bring her back home and we can tell she really misses them! I truly recommend this business to every dog (and cat!) owner, your pet will be in wonderful hand while you are away. (attached are examples of photo updates we get)

We love our dog and it’s always stressful to leave her behind when we need to go out of town, but Marc and Lori take such great care of her that we can rest easy while we’re away. Our anxious dog usually tries to run away from vets, groomers, and sitters- but she is excited to see Marc and Lori and happily runs to greet them when we drop her off. I couldn’t ask for a better attestation, I know she is in good hands.

When I moved to Hollywood I didn't know anyone and I had two dogs, one with failing vision and one that was misbehaving badly. Some people I met in town recommended Mark. Since I go out of town every other weekend, all I needed was someone that could stop by, walk the dogs, make sure they had food and water. What I got, was someone who was passionate about animals, extremely knowledgeable and experienced, and that really enjoyed his work. He got to know me and my dogs, and helped me understand them and showed me the best way to communicate with them. I'm receiving training on how to live with my animals and it's helped immensely. The best thing I ever did for my two pups was run into Mark!!
Mark is the man! True professional. He is more than just a reliable dog walker he genuinely cares so glad I found him. After my mom passed away I Inherited her 2 dogs who are not trained or socialized at all and I was getting overwhelmed with taking them for walks. After a couple months with Mark they made a complete turn around. He not only offers sound advice but keeps you in the loop. Texts you when they go potty. Reports on their behaviors and he’s always on time and super flexible 👍
Love Mark! He treated my Coco like his own. He is so knowledgeable about dogs i felt comfortable that he would care for her. My dog is like 10 and she had a blast. He even washed her! She looked great and smelled awesome. Coco is shy and does note love many people but now Mark is one of those people. After a weekend he was holding her in his arms. Thats big for her. Im so happy that she has a new friend in Mark and the other dogs he cares for. She will be boarding and training with Mark from now on.
This man sent me a really nasty email after I sent a single brief note introducing my dog and I. I sent this man two sentences. I didn't give many details but use of one phrase "strong baby" made him extremely judgmental. When working with a trainer the most important thing for me is understanding each other to work together to improve the dogs lifestyle. This guy is just rude.
Mark is lovely with our little maltipoo,Milo. Our little guy has some special needs and Mark takes care of all of them. He asks a lot of questions and lets us know Milo is ok when we’re away. He’s also very aware of pack behavior and Milo’s place in it. Milo always comes home tired but very happy!
Mark is such a treasure! We are so glad to have found him. We have an elderly dog and had plans to leave town for two weeks, which was longer than we had ever left her. Because of her age and lower activity level, we didn't feel comfortable sending her to a typical pet hotel. Mark took special care of our girl in his home and sent us lots of updates and pictures to ease our minds. I think she had more fun with him than at our house! I would recommend A Big Dog House to anyone with a senior dog who needs specialized care.
I really recommend this place for all of your dog needs. Mark has walked and looked after my dogs for years. He's really good with rescues. He's always calm, patient and quick to respond. Definitely try him out!

Hi. I am a Blue Shar-Pei who went through a TPLO reconstruction surgery of my left leg. I was 23 days post-surgery and my parents’ guilt was weighing them down boarding me at LA Dogworks. Why, as they have been trusting the team since I am a puppy? Perhaps, because it was not a simple boarding as I was still requiring a lot of attention and experiencing anxiety post-surgery. Running, jumping and climbing stairs, nope not for the next 6 months and forget about playing with my friends dogs. Putting me in a crate because I need too much attention,Hell No, Just try it! I am sure you start understanding the care and attention I was in need of. The LADogworks Team during my boarding stay took excellent care of me. They were caring, calming me when I needed it to and kept me safe from hurting myself, all of that without throwing me in a stupid crate. It was a great experience, and yes I wanted to jump in my father’s arms when he came to pick me up, but again not allowed to! Believe me, you can trust the team and leave doggy with them in a peaceful mind. woof woof Jimmy Choo

Seriously a great place. They always take good care of my 13yo pup and make sure she is doing well. I don't understand the negative reviews here. You pay based on time, they are open and have staff 24 hours. They deliver all medication, and complete feedings. If anything ever happens they notify you right away. Staff is wonderful, owner is serious about his business, which is a good thing for operations. Least acrid environment I've been in for that many dogs, a lot of smart thought went into their setup. If you are hesitant, don't be, I've been boarding my dogs for over 20 years and this place is solid and straight forward. Give it a try!
Edited Review: I am not sure why it has taken me so long to revise this. I will leave my old review because I think it's only fair to show the good with the bad. This review reflects something that happened years ago, but is the reason why I will never leave my dog in their care again. There was a flu outbreak in the canine community years ago. To the credit of the people who worked here, it was highly advised to vaccinate for flu before bringing in. I had just gotten Toby vaccinated and thought he would be okay, because he had his own suite and did not play with the other dogs. I left for 4 or 5 days. While visiting family, I got a call that Toby was coughing and needed to be picked up ASAP. When I got there, my dog had been kept under the cash register in a crate (yep!) for the entire day. He was SEVERELY dehydrated. His fever got up to 104. Though he recovered, his health was never the same. And though there is absolute medical proof of this, I believe it was the catalyst that started his downward spiral in health. He was not the same after that sickness. Dogs get sick, sometimes, it just can't be helped. But it was made apparent that the owner of the facility was WELL aware of the outbreak (he later hired a vaccination van to come out - a good thing but very after the fact). If the outbreak was THAT bad, owner of the facility should have shut down - or at least operated at a limited capacity for dogs already there. My dog certainly NEVER should have been put in a crate under the register. My dog has since passed, I have a new pup - I will not be bringing her to LA Dogworks. Accidents happen, but I cannot be certain that my dog's health will be put above monetary interest. I give two stars instead of one, because, before this horrible situation, my dog was well treated (as shown in the review below). Old Review: I am only giving 4 out of 5 stars (would do 4 1/2 if I could) because it's a bit pricey for me :( However, that being said, I took Toby (my English Bully) to 4 places (all had good reps) before LA Dogworks. At EVERY place Toby would end up injured. This is the only facility I feel safe sending him to. So from that respect, worth the money for him to be happy and healthy. Everyone I have seen there has been incredibly nice, friendly - and washed Toby's belongings if they got dirty (believe, most places wont do that). Lol, changed my mind, giving 'em a 5!
Matti is the best groomer in LA. I've literally had people stop me on the street to ask me if Matti did her cut!
We used their after-hour daycare service when we passed through LA. Dropped our dog off for 3 hours while we went to dinner. A little pricey but it offers 24/7 daycare service, which is very rare. The owner Andrew greeted us and gave us a tour of the facility. He's friendly and it looks like he really cares about what he does. We will be using their service again next time we are in town.
LA Dogworks is an amazing place. Andrew and staff are all amazing people who truly love dogs. We have been taking our dog there for many years and she loves it there! We’ve left her overnight for boarding and day care and they’ve always taken great care of her. It’s a great 24 hour service. An amazing place. Thank you!

My dog, Brandy, had her first grooming at Dog-E-Den today and we’ve found our new groomer!! Everyone was so nice, especially the groomer, Cinthia. She called me to discuss styling preferences and told me how Brandy did when I got to pick her up. They were fast, the facility is clean and modern. It’s a great place!!
Probably the most transparent doggy daycare out there! I love the way they care for my 18-month old puppy, and I can tell that she really loves going there. She is whimpering to get out of the car as soon as we arrive and I can watch her playing with her friends all day long! The handlers re so caring of all the pups and so patient with them as well. Our puppy is a bit more on the shy side and she completely blossomed here! We love that they are open late and even offer boarding for the doggy. Their service is really accommodating and they are great with the doggies.
Super conveniently located DOG-E-DEN is a life saver with 3 chaotic dogs. They allow for easy drop offs and pick ups with no reservations which is perfect for my spontaneous lifestyle. Our fur-baby Oscar loves coming here for daycare! He always drags us across the street and up the stairs to get inside. Normally he has horrible separation anxiety but we feel really comfortable leaving him at Dog-E-Den. We pick him up tired and very happy. Definitely would recommend!

Dog-E-Den Hollywood is the best! I started taking my 1 year old dog there M-F about a month and a half ago. He has the best time, and is so excited to get there and play with his new friends every morning. The staff is all very friendly and they keep the dog area very clean throughout the day. I love that I can check in on my baby via the cameras and the daily report cards with photos are a nice touch. Highly recommend if you're looking for a good daycare option for your pup.
I really love the Sherman Oaks location. The staff are fantastic and clearly love dogs and their jobs. Unfortunately, I recently moved away from the area. The Hollywood location feels like an entirely different business. The staff don’t appear to know the dogs and are largely unfriendly and unwelcoming. The purple haired receptionist is very rude and has no business working in customer service. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
We are "those" millennial pet parents with our dog Obi. I wouldn't trust anywhere else with our boy. We go to Dog-E-Den for daycare, boarding, and grooming. The staff is EXTREMELY friendly and knows the dogs super well and all of their intricacies. Obi can be very attached to us but he's happy to go there and we love that they have a webcam and send photos with report cards. Thank you, Dog-E-Den!!!!
Dog e den has been a life saver! Our pup has separation anxiety and can't be left alone. We rely on Dog e den to take good care of him and he always has a human around. The people that work there are friendly and confident with dogs. He gets lots of playtime and attention. The hours cover most of the day and night with late pickup available (very helpful!)
This is an incredible place for your dogs daycare! I take my dog 3-4 days a week here, and it’s worth every penny! They had a free week promo and it was the right decision to keep bringing my dog here after that! First-The location is right off sunset Blvd, right on the corner. It has glass windows for the big dog side and the small dog side so it’s always a joy to walk by and see the dogs! They have a lot of space on both sides! My pup loves it here, literally 5 min away she already notices buildings and knows where we’re going and gets so excited! The even better part is they have live feed cameras to watch your dog while you’re away at work etc. They also offer boarding and the prices aren’t terrible! Second-The staff is top notch. Every time I bring my dog in they know her by name and are always happy to see her! I feel safe and comfortable leaving her there and I’m a pretty protective dog dad! They keep the dogs safe and are always on point with feedings and love playing with the dogs. They take pictures for you of your dog and email you a “report card” and I save a lot of them and it’s always good to hear good feedback. I HIGHLY recommend this place!
People were great! Sadly, they do have homeless in the immediate vicinity (or drunks lying about), but that’s not their fault. I wish I had taken more photos, as they were exceptionally clean, and the fellows who helped me were very nice and helpful. My girl took a while to warm up, but I think she enjoyed it!

We boarded our dog for the weekend with no issues. Great space for dogs to hang out together, individual stalls/rooms for sleeping, and followed medication & feeding instructions with no issues. We will definitely use them again! Our dog left happy :)

My 6 month old Frenchie pup, Gigi, lovesss The Dog Resort and the staff. When we get out of the car to walk in for drop off she bolts for the door. The staff are great and very friendly + accommodating. I highly recommend this doggy day care.

Our dog, Rockoh was taken there a couple of days and he loved it. He did not want to come home. He enjoyed playing with the other dogs. They took real good care of him and gave him a grooming.
