Andrea
Had such a lovely time sitting for Andrea and Alisa's furry family. The cats all have different personalities which always kept things entertaining! Loved getting cuddles from all of the cats, they were all extremely friendly and I grew attached to them by the end of the sit! 🥰 The house is lovely, everything you'd need for your stay, located just opposite the sea so it's perfect if you fancy a swim (in the warmer weather). Selsey is also just a really great area, lots of cute shops and pubs and cafes nearby. Andrea and Alisa made me feel comfortable and happy staying in their home and left extensive instructions on every possibility which was extremely helpful - they were also only a phone call/ text away if there were any issues. Would love to sit for this family again, couldn't recommend enough.

Paul and Sarah
We have just completed a very enjoyable sit for two lovely people, Paul and Sarah. We were invited to join them a couple of days before the sit commenced and were treated like guests more than house sitters. We enjoyed a superb barbecue on the first evening and then lunch in a local town the next day, and took the opportunity to get to know them better. Paul gave us a very detailed guided tour of the property and what was required of us whilst we stayed there.
They left early on the next day and left us in charge of this beautiful hilltop property, just outside Rute, surrounded by acres of olive groves. The accommodation is spacious and has every amenity that you would need including the added bonus of a lovely swimming pool. The views are quite spectacular from the terraces and we were treated to many moonlit evenings with the moon’s light reflecting on the waters of the Iznájar reservoir far below.
Our principal responsibility during our stay was to care for Milo, a 26 year old Hermann’s tortoise. Neither of us realised quite what a character a tortoise could be but Milo certainly put us straight on that point! His love of strawberries had us in stitches as after gorging himself with them his face was a picture, covered in red from the strawberries! It was very entertaining to take him out of his enclosure and let him roam freely around the grounds. It is quite surprising how quickly a tortoise can move. He amused us with his dancing ability when his shell was tickled with our fingernails. We will always remember Milo, our first ever tortoise, who gave us many wonderful memories.
It was a great pleasure to stay near Rute, a part of Spain we have never explored before but its location is ideal with easy access to some of the major cities in the South of Spain and along the coast. We really enjoyed our time in Rute and would recommend this sit without reservation. We would love to return at some point in the future and enjoy the tranquility of the location and the entertainment that Milo provides.

Rebekah
This beautifully renovated, comfortable and spacious old farmhouse is in a lovely area with a village feel. Shops and pubs are in walking distance, and I made an outing to Harry Potter Studio Tour. I was here in fall, but I can imagine enjoying the large garden and pool on warm summer days. Rebekah and Phil are the nicest people and communication with them was smooth. Phoenix is the bestest old boy. He is really getting on in years, but don’t be fooled, he still very much enjoys his walk around the block. He loves a good brushing. I had some trouble controlling Juno unfortunately. Her mum and dad promptly solved this by having her picked up by someone else. She is still a very impulsive and jumpy young labrador. She is a good girl with no ill intent, but until she has had some more time in puppy school I do not recommend sitting her if you are a family with small children or if you are inexperienced with dogs. Sitting Phoenix will be no trouble at all for anyone. Give him a hug from me if your stop by.

Jai and Nina
Jai and Nina are a lovely couple and were so helpful to me by picking me up at the train station and also upon leaving. Very laid back with no rush to get away on their holiday they took the time to make sure I was comfortable and that Milton the dog and I were introduce well. Initially Milton was a bit nervous as he wasn't well and had extra medication for a few days but didn't take long and we were close buddies. He just needs gentle loving care as all rescue pets do. The dwelling is very homely with amazing views of the mountains and the village and forest walks are unbeatable.

Jackie
We had a wonderful time looking after Max and Lola and miss them already! They were both very well behaved and easy to take on walks to the beach and the park. Max was even able to lead us to the park and back to the house when we were trying to figure out directions! It was lovely to relax with them in the evening and they loved being fussed and having scratches.
Jackie's house is beautiful and in a stunning location. We had everything we needed for our stay and Jackie was always available if we had any questions.
We would absolutely recommend sitting Max and Lola and hope to be able to do so again in the future.
