Cat Sitters in Holmesfield

Max was my saviour when I had a late cancellation and he stepped in at the last minute to housesit for me for 2 months. And what a godsend he was! He looked after my dogs with love and care and dealt with every problem that came his way with intelligence and self reliance. But even better, he took on any tasks he thought needed doing ....cleaning my terrace tiles (it's a big terrace!) building new garden steps, varnishing my front door and doing any repairs he could. What an absolute star. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a caring considerate housesitter. Please come back!

Mandy and her friend that came were lovely people, they instantly took to Noodles the dog and it was clear they knew how to look after animals. We had no problems during the sit, all went well and the house was nice and tidy when we arrived home. Good communication throughout, i would definitely recommend them and use them again as pet sitters

Julia, Steve and family were great pet sitters!!! We can’t fault them. Julia was easy to communicate with and kept in regular contact before and during the sit. Unfortunately they broke down on their way to our house but they are super capable and dealt with it efficiently and easily despite not being in their home country and arrived with minimal delay. Our home was left clean and tidy, even our bedding had been washed and put back on the beds when we arrived home, and we had been left baked treats in the fridge 😄. The dogs were happy and healthy and had received lots of cuddles from Julia’s two boys. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this family again and hope they will come back this way soon. Im sure we will be keeping in touch!

Clemy absolutely loves having Alice and Christie to stay! I think this was their third or fourth visit and just as it was for previous visits, everything was perfect. They always make it so easy for us to go away and they follow our (detailed) instructions to the Ietter. I can't recommend them enough! We're very fortunate that they like staying in our Park Hill flat and we hope to be able to welcome them on many more occasions.

Where do I start!? From day one, I knew Ellyssa was the right person to look after our girls. She was extremely easy to get on with, and she most definitely speaks cat and is a true cat person! She managed to bond with our super shy Muffin and is the first person (besides us two) that has gotten her on her lap- we were gobsmacked! She is very approachable, self-sufficient, and easy going, which we really appreciated! It was clear she adored cats, the girls were obviously very taken with her and well looked after, which for us is the main thing! If she wanted to come back and sit for us again we'd definitely have her back in a heartbeat- if she applies for your sit, don't hesitate to snap her up!

Although the sit was only short Sarah proved to be an excellent sitter. Good communication before and during the sit reassured me. She was keen to get to know the cats and they did warm to her which was great. Sarah sent updates as requested and the house was clean and tidy when I returned. Excellent!

Our plans changed at the last minute and Raven was, as ever, incredibly accommodating. We didn’t need anyone to look after Captain in the end, but I wanted to leave this review anyway because Raven’s communication was brilliant throughout. We were all sorry not to see them, especially Captain, but we hope to see them again for another sit soon!

Alex and Emma came to house sit for us and look after our two ponies, cat, rabbit and 5 chickens from 7 - 15th July. We found them to be exceptional house sitters in every way, our pets were looked after to perfection and they managed perfectly to deal with naughty ponies breaking through fencing! They drew up a simple table of daily pet chores which was so useful to others when our return was unavoidably delayed and we had to arrange alternative pet care at short notice. The house was left immaculately clean, our pets were happy and content when we returned and we would not hesitate to recommend Alex and Emma as house sitters to anyone. We really hope they will come back and house-sit for us again sometime. Thank you so much Alex and Emma!

Unfortunately I didn’t get to meet Laura and Simon in person as my daughter did the handover but Laura had communicated in advance about time of arrival etc so all was good. I had great updates of the family whilst they were here looking after Zulu and Clova and i think they had some lovely walks in the surrounding countryside with some friends of Laura’s who live close by. It was lovely to come home to all the sheets and towels washed and drying on the line and the biscuits, chocs and welcome home card were very much appreciated. I am glad the children gained confidence being with the dogs and I hope that the experience will set them up for meeting and living with other dogs in the future. Thank you all for looking after the dogs and house so well.

They sent me daily updates and lots of cute pictures of what my pets got up to whilst I was away!

Beth was very easy to organise thd sit with, they fit in well with our plans and awful flight times and looked after JJ and the hens well. Thank you xx
