It was unforgettable experience to live in Sesimbra by taking care of Snoopy and Finn! Sesimbra is beautiful old fishing town with its unique vibe. Snoopy & Finn are sweet and easy going dogs who you will love. Snoopy is older lady, who definitely loves you and wants to be cuddled by you, most of the times, if possible, please :) She is determined, sensitive lady who prefers shorter walks, even she can get excited sometimes. Finn observes and loves you from a little distance. Well, in the end he gives value if you show also for him some affection. Finn loves children and gets excited by them! He was the best friend for my 9-year old son. We will definitely miss those two <3 The apartment is small and cozy, you have everything there, lavandaria (for laundry) you find from the town. Marie is a lovely person who genuinely cares about her housesitters <3 This was our first experience as housesitters and based on that we will definitely keep doing this in the future as well. Thank you so much Marie, give Snoopy (Doo) and Finn warm hugs from me and Diego :)
Caring for Rosie was a wonderful experience, she is one of the most mellow, sweet, and well behaved dogs we've ever cared for with a well established routine. Lori left great instructions, and we felt welcome the moment we arrived. Being in such close proximity to the DC area offers the chance to explore culture and nature. Grocery stores, coffee shops and restaurants are within walking distance. We really enjoyed the pet and housesit, and highly recommend it if you get the chance. The hardest part was saying goodbye to Rosie!!!!

I watched Dizzy for four days and found him be really pleasant. He immediately greeted me when I walked in the door like I belonged and was ready to play. He's really clear as to what he needs and wants if you're paying attention, including the distance and direction of the walks! JJ's communication was mostly on point in regards to Dizzy, and the house, the priority is of course Dizzy. There was only really a couple of things that more communication would have been helpful and that involved what to do when Dizzy had an accident throughout the house and most importantly that he is mildly aggressive with humans that are strangers(barking, growling and lunging.. luckily he is small which means it's easy to hold him back) It was clear he has aggression towards dogs but I would have really appreciated being cautioned for humans (JJ explained that he knew about it but hoped it was just a one off thing, which is understandable but still should have been said).
I really had a wonderful time staying with Taco. Fallon made sure that I feel welcomed and at home and Taco is such a wonderful soul to be around.
