Wonderful stay at Matthew and Claire's looking after vinnie, wayne, tilly and poultry. Lovely walks straight from the door as well as a couple of mins drive away. Beautiful house and gardens, very friendly and chatty gardener. Would recommend if you like getting away from it all and relaxing in the countryside.
I recently stayed in Angela and Richard’s amazing home and looked after their cat, George, who is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen in my life. Angela and Richard are both so lovely and their house is beautiful and modern, located in a great area. I had a clumsy mishap and broke my foot during the sit, and Angela and Richard couldn’t have been more caring, checking in on me and offering me any help i need.
Mark and Hania are absolutely lovely and so welcoming and accommodating. My partner, Jeremy and I cared for their 2 lovely dogs, 4 cats, and beautiful home last fall. Mark and Hania went above and beyond making sure we were comfortable in the new setting and helping is get settled in. Saint Preist is truly a gem of a village and feels a bit like going back in time, with easy morning walks into the village center for the days' needs (fresh bread, groceries, butcher). The village is surrounded by gorgeous views of woodland and farmland, which the dogs enjoy hikes through each morning. Lola, Bertie and all four kitties are some of the sweetest, most personality-packed animals we've cared for, and we miss them dearly! I give as high as possible a review and recommendation for this - wonderful people, wonderful home and village, and wonderful animals.
I had the privilege of watching over Remy and Maybelline in Jean’s beautiful home on Whidbey Island. Remy was a little nervous at first but once he felt comfortable with me he became a little purr machine! He was very sweet, affectionate and playful. Maybelline is a chill girl who loves to gently head-butt you when it’s time for her food! She absolutely loves to play with her toys and never seems to tire out. I became quite attached to them while I was there. All of the instructions were clear and there was good communication before and during the sit. I would be happy to sit for Remy and Maybe in the future.
Ashley and Zach have a lovely home! It's a very cozy and tidy space. They were super welcoming and we were very comfortable while looking after their pets and home. They have a detailed guide which was great to reference as needed and Maeby and Louie were the sweetest, they both have great personalities and we enjoyed their "known quirks" like Maeby getting excited and chattering her teeth, and Louie loving to drink from the bathtub faucet. We would happily return to sit these chill pets for Ashley and Zach and would recommend this sit for others who are interested in visiting Austin. We only wish our sit would have been longer - it was a real joy hanging out with Maeby and Louie!
Grace provided detailed instructions and was available for any questions. Eli is a sweet and interactive cat. We had fun with him, especially watching him play on the floor with my pony tail holder We were not able to enjoy the amenities as much as we would have liked due to extreme temperatures and limited access due to a holiday.
