We spent a great time caring for the adorable dog Basil in Sydney, Australia. He is absolutely gorgeous, caring and always ready for a cuddle and a walk, so we could easily care of him and keep his routine, walking, cleaning, feeding, playing and giving him a lot of love and cuddles. Our hosts Lucy and Nadia was amazing, very flexible and generous, and kept a good communication from the beginning. The apartment is awesome, very comfortable and full equipped, with a great location. We're very grateful, highly recommend them and would be very happy to meet them in Brazil someday and care of Basil again in the future!
Myra and I very much enjoyed sitting for Lucca. Lucca is a loving and well-trained dog who likes to cuddle. Lucca is a playful dog and Steve had a blast with her in their fenced- in yard. DyJuan and Heather were great hosts. Their home is very comfortable. They prepared a very helpful Welcome Guide and Heather ran us through all of Lucca’s needs including a nice feeding summary for Lucca. Shayla has a lovely sunny and cozy apartment in a beautiful old area of Victoria. There’s beautiful scenery walking around the area and some historic venues, a museum and theatre within a few mins walk. It’s a short walk to downtown and shorter to Cook street village and major bus routes. Parking on site and on the street was easy access and was always available. Apartment is a 3rd floor walk up in a majestic old heritage house. It’s a wooden building and day to day living noises can be heard from one unit to the next. The apartment is very quiet and the other building occupants are respectful of noises. This sit is suitable for someone who can walk up and down the stairs easily to access the apartment and live quietly and respectfully of neighbours. Communication with a Shayla, her daughter and her friend was easy. She has thoughtfully arranged back up caretakers in the event of an emergency and I did happen to need help because of weather restrictions (it snows once a year on the Island and that snowstorm was on the day I was supposed to start my sit!) Fangora is absolutely delightful. She’s low maintenance and personable: sits quietly at the table with you in the afternoon and is talkative and cuddly in the morning and evening. The best part was her snuggling in in bed but she’s also pretty cool watching you come and go like a dog might. She’s indoor outdoor and did not bring me any “gifts” when returning from her excursions. Super cool cat to hang out with and hopefully I get the opportunity to look after her again.
I had such a lovely stay at Ellie and Phil’s. Their cats Cleo and Alfie are so lovely, funny and calm. The place was so tastefully decorated and really peaceful to spend time in and the location is wonderful 🌸💜
Thank you to Charlotte and Christopher for inviting us into their home to look after Pemba, Limpopo, Nyasa, the duck and chickens. We had a lovely week despite the weather not always playing the game. but we got out for walks everyday which Pemba loved. We also visited 3 National Trust properties and she was beautifully behaved. The house was lovely to live in even though the kitchen was somewhat limited until their new one is finished. That didn't cause us any problems. I recommend this sit to you. It is not far from Haywards Heath making it easy to go shopping when needed. Thank you again Gillian and Michael
Very welcoming and communicative hosts just outside of downtown. Jennifer had great recommendations and tips for our time in the area and Harpers Ferry was worth the day trip. Fannie and Murphy are adorable and easy to care for and we'd happily sit/exchange again.
