Tania and Duncan were great pet parents to Ripley and it was an easy transition to care for her whilst they were away. Instructions were thorough and guidance on where to take her for a walk all printed out. Ripley was a delight she was friendly and loved company. I will miss her. Thankyou for such a great sit and for your hospitality I really enjoyed it.
I had a great time staying at Erin and James’s place and Rue was an absolute angel! Their home is super comfortable and conveniently located to be able to see many different parts of the city, and Rue was a great adventure buddy and so well behaved. I would highly recommend this sit to anyone and would absolutely sit for them again!
It was a pleasure to stay in Lancaster (a great and centrally located university town) at Anita’s comfortable and tidy home. Archie was the sweetest spaniel ever, whether keeping me company and playing at home or on walks. He was absolutely no trouble at all and a very good boy! As with any spaniel keep an eye out for him trying to eat things he shouldn’t on walks. I had a lovely and restful time, lots to see and do and short walk to a very convenient buss system. Highest recommendations and I would gladly return!
The warm welcome from Tamara and her charming family was a great start to our sit. They left early the following morning and we were greeted later by a somewhat confused Barney. He soon settled and we had a fun time with him. He likes to be close to you, loves being stroked and brushed and enjoys his walks. Distraction works well when necessary eg rescuing the post! He sleeps in his cage and doesn’t wake early. Barnes is a relaxing urban village with lovely walks/runs by the river, wetlands and a pond. There’s a good range of individual shops and cafes as well as a fab independent cinema. Thanks, Tamara, for everything, we hope to see you again.
We had a nice weekend getaway in McMinnville at Amy's house. She was very communicative prior to and throughout our stay, making sure we were comfortable and giving us some great restaurant suggestions. The town is full of cute shops & restaurants and less than a 10 minute drive, so it was very convenient. The 5 pups were a lot of fun and each adorable in their own way. They were extremely excited on day 1 and I thought they might be a lot to handle, but they quickly settled and became great couch cuddlers. They listened well when it was time to go outside or into their crates for dinner or bedtime. Little Wakka does have some reflux issues so we had to clean up his piles from time to time, but it wasn't anything we couldn't handle. Just mentioning for those who may not be willing. The 2 piggies outside are also very cute & really easy to take care of. There is a separate small house on the property that her friend lives in. It wasn't a problem in any way & we didn't even end up seeing each other during our stay. Amy did a great job of labeling and explaining everything for us, which made for an easy stay!
