Overall, Hea did a sufficient job caring for our cat and home. Kitty seemed healthy and content, and the house was in good condition. However, this experience helped us refine our preferences for future sits. Hea shares a profile with Nicholas, but it appears she is the one handling the sits. Despite our inquiries, the details of their shared profile and arrangement remained unclear. In terms of organization, she had some mix-ups with dates and arrival times during pre-visit communication that required clarification, which she attributed to managing multiple sits and tracking many details. Although we provided the welcome guide in advance at her request, she still asked us to write down instructions for the cat’s medications and asked questions covered in the guide, later mentioning that she hadn’t yet reviewed it upon arrival. For reliability, Hea honored her travel commitments, but communication about the cat was inconsistent. Updates were irregular, sometimes necessitating us initiating them, and were fairly general (e.g., "doing well, ate well, spending time outside"). While she had assured us she was familiar with sending regular updates, in hindsight, we should have been more specific about our expectations. She also experienced an issue with her phone charger, which required her to switch to another phone and may have contributed to the lapses in communication. Regarding self-sufficiency, Hea requested to arrive the night before, which is common for some sits, and needed assistance with travel logistics. Per her request, we provided rides to and from the train station, helped with how to purchase a ticket, and assisted with her luggage. Despite volunteering for a sit far from her home, she expressed concerns about the cost and logistical challenges of public transportation, which we tried to accommodate by offering additional assistance, including a trip to the grocery store. On the plus side, Hea left our home in good condition—counters were clean, the trash was taken out, and the dishwasher was run. She was respectful of our space and kept everything tidy. For pet care, Kitty appeared happy and healthy upon our return, and Hea mentioned spending a lot of time at home, which likely helped our cat feel less lonely. She explained that she preferred to defer to the cat's wishes rather than initiate interaction, despite our guidance to engage more directly with her. Overall, Hea took good care of our home and cat, and we were satisfied with the sit. For future homeowners, we recommend being clear about your expectations for communication, updates, and any assistance with travel arrangements or transportation.

This dog and house sit is wonderful. The village is set in a lovely Yorkshire village with lots to see and do. The house and gardens are very pleasant. Fudge is a Great dog, she is a well trained working dog, and is very sweet.

We can recommend this sit if you want a quiet time, food walks, lots to see and do, you can’t fail to enjoy yourself here. We would sit again if we could.

Andrew and Julia are very welcoming and we enjoyed ourselves for our mini break.

Having the chance to look after these little cats was fantastic. Fifi and Odin are such a sweetheart we felt in love with. They are so lovely and chilled, always around us and even Fifi slept with us all nights. They are on medication but never was a problem for them to take the pills.
Sean & Victoria were very wellcoming, nice and helpful. Always easily reachable when we needed to talk to them and made us feel like we were in our own home from the very first moment.
Their home is fantastic, very comfy with everything you need. The garden area is perfect to relax yourself and the pool is awesome. Do not hesitate If you get the chance to get to know them.

Nick and Sophie were great hosts! We met a week before the house-sit and they were very welcoming and easy-going. They made sure I knew where the MRT, closest grocery store and botanical garden were before leaving.

Sweet Oslo was a bit anxious, it took him a few days to get used to me but we ended up best buds! He loves going on walks and finding all sorts of animals in the botanical garden. I was able to go to the botanical garden every day for Oslo's daily walks and we discovered every part of it. This place is magical and beautiful and it is extremely close to the house. Oslo is very easy to take care of, he's calm and likes to play and sleep. He also enjoys looking at the birds and squirrels on the balcony.

The apartment was perfect. It is very spacious, clean and comfortable. There is a shared gym and pool you can use. It is located in a quiet neighbourhood but near the MRT, bus station and a few shops and restaurants.

I hope I'll get the chance to come back in the future, I miss Oslo already! Thanks again Nick!

Lauren
Since we love nature and being out among the trees, birds, deer and peace and quiet Lauren’s home was paradise.
Lauren’s two kitties were so lovable. Little Kitty had the best personality and would do quite a bit of talking with us.
James was more laid back and just enjoyed his food and laying near one of the windows soaking up the light.
Lauren’s home is a unique round house updated with all of the beautiful finishes. Her gourmet kitchen is well appointed. There is everything one could possible need or want including her pottery. We stayed in the first floor comfortable guest room with its own en suite.
There is beauty everywhere inside with all of her artwork, photography, handmade wooden tables and antiques.
Every morning we enjoyed coffee on her deck surrounded by nature, we even caught and released dozens of fish in her pond.
We picked a bouquet of multi colored roses to adorn the dining table. What a treat.
Lauren was very accommodating and left us very good instructions for caring for the kitties, gardens and home. She also left hiking pamphlets and her favorite restaurants in Marshall and the surrounding area.
We would jump at the opportunity to come back to pet sit again.

What a delightful time it was to spend with Milo and Honey! Both are smart, respectful, affectionate, easy to manage and to walk. They enjoy being with us and by themselves too, respecting our space, and just chilling. Honey particularly makes her name worthy - what a sweet dog! A few times, she slept on our laps during our working time, making us company.

The house is great! Comfortable, practical, with everything you need, in a quiet neighborhood and with access to public transport. Near the house there is a beautiful park, where you can walk the dogs and simply admire the view.

Wajira and his family are fantastic people and made us feel like we were visiting good friends. Wajira cooked a fantastic Siri-Lanka meal, very traditional, so it was a nice cultural exchange experience as well.
This is indeed a very special family and we don't know how to put into words how incredible it was to have this experience.

All that said, we couldn't recommend more to anyone willing to pet-sitting Milo and Honey and give them the love and respect they deserve.

Julia & her family made me very welcome & generously allowed me to have my grandchildren to stay, as it was half term. Their home was comfortable with everything we needed & the kittens Bernie & Luna were great fun. Full of energy but also super cuddly & enjoyed our company.

The area is very pleasant with plenty to do around & about, with or without a car. We walked, enjoyed the village including a couple of good meals out & visited the Bluebell railway.

I would gladly house sit again for these lovely cats & visit all the places I didn't get chance to this time!

Thank you.
