Where to begin? The positive comments in previous reviews have not been exaggerated - this really is a wonderful sit to get and I consider myself extremely lucky to have been chosen this time (and really hope I will be again) I arrived the evening before and Chris and her family couldn't have been more welcoming. I'm so glad I was able to spend time with them before they left the next day and I'm only sad that I had to leave before they returned. Such interesting, entertaining and fun people to be in the company of. No, I haven't met them before and they haven't paid me to say any of this :-) It's a fabulous home, in a beautiful area of the country and with a wonderful garden and so, so peaceful. There's plenty to see and do in the area and I made it out a couple of times. Apart from the weather not being great, I was simply too relaxed to want to leave! Pudding and Flashie are no problem at all. I felt quite honoured when, on my second evening, Flashie joined me on the sofa. They aren't what you would call lap cats - or at least not with strangers - but they're both very loving, cute and funny. Flashie will try and convince you it's time to eat but he'll get the message after a minute or two that it's your decision and not his. I have nothing but positive things to say about this sit and, without wishing to offend my other sits, I think this is in my top 3 or possibly number one. If you're lucky enough to have the opportunity to sit with Pudding and Flashie then don't hesitate, just accept. You'll be in a beautiful location, a wonderful home and have the company of two adorable characters (and maybe the human family for a little time if you're really, really lucky) I'm not sure what else you could need? Before I send everyone to sleep, I'd like to say a huge thank you to Chris, John, Kim, Emi, Pudding and Flashie for an amazing few days. Hope to see you all again soon!

Rick and Carrie have a great home in Laguna Woods and an even greater relationship with their pets . Two little darlings. I sent photos to them every week for a month while they cruised the South Pacific and stayed at their very well kept home with wonderful memorabilia from the Old Hollywood stars Carrie knew growing up (Lucile Ball Desi Arnez) Would sit anytime for them and the precious ones... Muffy is a very endearing cat. As locals it was an easy two day pet sit and we knew the vibrant area very well. Linda's instructions were clear and easy to follow and she was absolutely lovely.
I spent 12 great days in Tromsø looking after Cuddy and Dreizehn. The cats are easy going and friendly. Sarah's home is cozy and centrally located in a peaceful neighbourhood. I missed the northern lights but had the chance to experience both the autumn colours and the snowy mountains. There are a lot of hiking opportunities in Tromsø and the surrounding islands. I liked especially my visit to Sommarøy. Thank you Sarah for trusting me. I never met her or her family as they left before my arrival and returned after my departure. Maybe we see next time... Jane was an easy going, friendly and helpful host. She was really easy to communicate with. Barney was very loveable and very obedient. He was lots of fun to take out on walks and we loved being around him. We found everything to be just as expected and the area around Tenterden was lovely to explore. We would happily do this sit again and would highly recommend it to anyone.
