Dog Sitters in Honley

Su and Brian took wonderful care of our cat while we were away. They are kind, thoughtful, and considerate. We would be happy to welcome them back anytime.

Katie & Connor looked after the house and dogs beautifully. They were really keen to understand the dog's routine and seamlessly took over the reins when we left. It was great to have occasional updates while we were away. We came back to a tidy house and happy dogs! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys for your housesit.

We were very happy to have Paige as a house and cat sitter. The contact with her was clear and very good right from the start. She arrived the night before. She is a very friendly and calm person. The fact that she is working remotely was a great plus for our old cat "Mitzi". We could really switch off during our 2 1/2 weeks holiday knowing that the house and our cat were in good hands because Paige is a trustworthy, responsible and self-sufficient person. The house was clean and tidy, the garden watered and Mitzi content when we returned from our holiday. I certainly can recommend Paige to everyone. My husband and I would welcome Paige anytime to housesit again.

James took care of our slightly chaotic, remote homestead on an island in the Azores. He arrived the day before we left and had to take in quite a lot of information about our systems here. The cats were well cared for, the geese and chickens were all happy, and our home was just as we had left it. I didn't manage to deeply mulch our garden before we left, but James managed to keep things alive by watering every few days which we are very grateful for, as it was a very hot and dry couple of weeks. We would welcome James back at any time to look after our place.

Couldn't have asked for a better pet sitter than Louise. She was very low maintenance from the beginning, but at the same time very thorough about making sure she knew about our dogs routine's etc before arriving even checking up on an old injury he had which I noted in my welcome book. She asked all the right kind of questions from the start and is obviously experienced in looking after animals. Because of our travel timings I couldn't be there to meet Louise on her arrival or see her off on her departure, but she took this in her stride and was very happy to meet with the friend I'd made arrangements with. Louise left the house very tidy and we came back to a very happy dog who had obviously been well looked after whilst we were away. She was a great communicator, and even picked up on the fact that our dog had lost his identification ring off his collar. I wouldn't hesitate to book Louise again if she wanted to return to our area.

Francesca, Luca and family were fantastic house and cat sitters. They looked after my cats Maud and Milo over Christmas and New Year, and were excellent company for them while I was away. I received regular updates and they were great communicators. The apartment was lovely and clean when I returned. Would not hesitate to have them sit again!

This was the second time Mick and Julia have sitted for us. Such a lovely couple who gave our dog so much attention and amazing long walks which he loved. They kept the house tidy and were a pleasure have a cup of tea with before we departed. They even cooked us a roast dinner for when we returned which was very thoughtful. We highly recommend them to sit for your dog!

Rhiannon and Luke were amazing . Right from the first contact we trusted each other . When they arrived we had lunch together at my home , which was very ‘gezellig’ as we say in Dutch, cozy. They were sweet to Fay , walked a lot with her . Charming couple, easy going and calm . Contact , photo’s when needed. At my return Fay was calm , the house was super clean. Judith came and looked after our house and dog for a week and did a wonderful job. She happily came a few hours earlier than planned when we were panicking about bank holiday traffic, and communicated really well about travel plans. She looked after Woody so well, taking him in a whole range of adventures so it feels like he’s had a mini holiday of his own while Judith was here. We received lots of photos and updates about their adventures during the week. She looked after our house so well, leaving everything very tidy and washing bedding before she left. Judith was a wonderful house sitter and is welcome back any time!

Chrissy was a dreamy sitter for our dog. From the very first chat I knew she would be very reliable. She arrived a night before the sit to avoid any delays, and I really liked that as our dog Got to know her while we were still present but it also gave me a lot of reassurance having met her before we went. She treated lulu like her own child, took him everywhere she went, he went on the bus and train for the very first time, which he loved, bought him sausage every time she ate out with him ❤️ She kept in touch with us sharing photos daily, and even FaceTimed so the kids could see him. The house when we came back was spotless, tidy and the bedding and towels all cleaned and dried, every thing was in perfect order. It was an absolute pleasure having Chrissy take care of our dog, I hope she is available for us in future sits and would highly recommend her to anyone. Thanks Chrissy for making this such a positive and stress free experience. ❤️

Lorely and Kevin were an absolute pleasure to have looking after our two cats and our home. The house was left in lovely condition and they had done so much more than we asked for in the garden. Not only did they water our plants but cut the grass and weeded and cleared one of the large beds as well! We came home to very happy cats and a lovely meal that had been prepared for us. We look forward to having them back!
