Jerilyn and Mathew are two of the most lovely, reliable, kind-hearted and wonderful people I have ever met! They are exactly the kind of folks you can feel great about leaving the care of your pets and home to. They lovingly tended to our chickens, garden and house as though they were their own. They even made friends with our neighbors and hung out with them while we were away! Our only regret is that we didn’t get to spend more time with them, but we hope they return on the future!
Lovely sit with the two cutest fluffy boys. Matt was a wonderful host. Him and his wife were very welcoming and kind hearted people. Would happily sit again.
We really enjoyed looking after Dapper and Sherry Potter. It took us a couple of hours for Sherry Potter to warm up, but once she was happy with us being around, we loved getting to know both Dapper and Sherry. They were both friendly and liked being around us when we were home. Heathers home is beautiful. Its in a fab location for exploring downtown Boulder and surrounding areas. The apartment is also in a lovely complex that boasts all the leisure activities that you could want. We loved playing pool and made the most of the gym and swimming pool!
Susan gave excellent instructions for the sit and kept in frequent contact, Dora is a great cat to look after and the house is in a lovely village with really friendly people. Highly recommended.
My experience in Bellinzona at Gisela and Jan's was the best so far. The reason is quite simple (but not so easy to find): they are awesome and you can tell about it in every inch of their house, in the personality of Olga, their cat, in which things they find important, in the kind of vacations they have...everything. Said that, I would add that taking care and connecting with Olga is an experience I wish for everybody. She is an easy-going, adorable, playful and sweet cat. She likes to play outside but accepts happily playing with you if you look for it. She likes to start the day early and is happy to cuddle at night. She in not demanding but likes to tell you what she has done while away and is happy to find someone at home. But if the day is beautiful she probably would be outside all day with some stops to eat (with an automatic feeder). The house is beautiful full of loving details, and the energy is amazing. You feel very welcomed from the beginning. And Gisela and Jan are very well prepared to receive you with all the information you could need there. The placement of the house is perfect, near to the historical center (which is lovely!) And also near the train station and many bus stops. There is a supermarket in walking distance, and every Tuesday and Saturday you can find a lovely market at the center. In Bellinzona there are 3 very beautiful castles and it is very close to other villages and places worth going to. I fully recommend this sitting and meeting Olga, Gisela and Jan, who I actually consider my friends ? Thank you for this amazing experience! I wish meeting again someday! ?
We had a lovely few days in Donna and Adam’s home. We were made to feel very comfortable and Donna and Adam couldn’t have been more welcoming and thoughtful. Beau was gorgeous. Such an easy-going girl. She came out with us every day and really enjoyed her trips out. She ran around like a much younger dog. The chickens were hilarious and super friendly. The house was beautiful and the spare bedroom was extremely comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this sit to anyone considering sitting for Donna. There are lots of interesting and beautiful places to visit near by. Thank you so much Donna and Adam.
With only a few days to fill in our 6 month UK tour... this sit came up and could not have been more perfect. An easy 5 THUMBS UP! For certain a great location in London. Parked our motorcycle and did not move it again until the day we departed. Everything we needed was just minutes out the door. Beautiful parks, fitness centre, groceries and endless shops and eateries. And that was all within a few blocks in all directions. Go a tad further and there is even more to see and do. Linda and Jim's home is lovely. Arrived a couple hours in advance of their leaving and had a chance to get to know each other. SUPER nice couple. Made us feel completely at home the second we walked in the door. But the obvious stars of the show... Lucy and Leo. Lucy is one of those instant love dogs. That is simply who she is. Sweet and simply wants love. Easy to walk and pure joy to have around. Leo. HA! What a cat. We've cared for hundreds of cats and Leo is a special lil' dude. To start with, he has such a unique look. Skinny and lanky. Almost looks like he's a cartoon character. But it is his personality that was the most intriguing. He does love to be massaged (normally his head), but tends to want to do the massaging himself. So just stick your hand out or even better (for him), your foot. He will be in all his glory rubbing his head and face. If you do get too touchy, he will give a little swat or nip. Sometimes he may even do that for no reason whatsoever. Never once did I feel it was threatening, just Leo telling you, well... I have no clue what he was telling me HA! But made me laugh every time. Love both Lucy and Leo and hope to see them again.
