On first meeting Jennifer we knew she would look after our boy Lupin very well , she’s a very caring loving person who absolutely loves animals and Lupin took to her straight away which made us feel very confident that he would be happy in her care . Jennifer had kept up his grooming routine ( being a bearded collie he needs regular grooming) while away she sent us regular updates including pictures which we very much appreciated and it was very reassuring. Communication was very good before hand and during our sit . On our return the house was spotless and Lupin was very happy. It’s was also lovely to meet Tiny Jennifer’s companion she is the most adorable little dog who is as good as gold and was great company for Lupin I would not hesitate to recommend her . Charles & Nikki

Nikki and Charles were simply the best! They arrived a day early in order to meet us and Scout, pick up the keys, and get acquainted with our space. They were so open, understanding, and sweet, and as soon as we met them we knew we’d made a great choice. Both Charles and Nikki were extremely communicative and asked right away about how often we’d like updates, pictures, etc. They were so attentive to Scout’s routine, and even shared some tips on things like music to play for her to relax her. All the bedding, towels, etc. were washed and folded when we got back, and the next morning I noticed they’d cleaned our microwave out, too. I can’t recommend them highly enough, they’re truly awesome people.

We feel so fortunate to have found Kerri to take care of our home and dog! She was communicative, responsive, and provided us pictures and updates! Our home was immaculate when we returned, and all of the bedding laundry had been done. She loved Anabel -- our dog --and Anabel really loved her too. Anabel can take time to warm up and at the end of day 2 she was following Kerri around everywhere. She was able to get out and explore Rocky Mountain National Park and enjoy the Boulder area! We hope she will come back when we take another trip!

We were very nervous as this is our first time with zeewoi AND the first time leaving our crew with a stranger. Also we just renovated our house and were very worried it would get damaged. But we had no reason at ALL to worry! Mary did an outstanding job. We kept in contact via cell phone and she sent pictures every day and kept in touch about all the things she was doing. Since it was thanksgiving and her kids (adults) were nearby she asked if it would be ok if they joined her for part of the sit. We were also nervous about this but again - no need. The house is clean, the pets seem to be super happy and healthy - WONDERFUL experience! I can't recommend Mary enough :)

Jennifer and Chris were amazing. They were so thoughtful and communicative. We have two cats and both were a little shy to start out. Jennifer and Chris were so sweet and patient with them. We could not have asked for better house sitters. They truly put our concerns at ease and helped us enjoy our time away. They house was perfect when we came home. I highly recommend them both.

This was Kate's second sit with us. This time, Jaret joined her. I really appreciate that Jaret took the time to fetch keys and get to know the apartment and cats some days prior to the sit. I am sure that the cats were well taken care of by the two of them. Both furry friends were very relaxed when we returned. The apartment was clean, and our small garden was well-maintained. Unfortunately, there is a significant downside: our request not to leave items such as clothing, bags, or open suitcases on the floor, as our oldest cat (nearly 16y) tends to pee in/on them (she has this behavior since we got her as a baby), was ignored. This was despite a personal mention during our initial meeting with Jaret, specific warning in the Welcome Guide, and two reminders via WhatsApp when I saw photos of bags lying on the floor. Now, the wooden floor in two rooms of our brand new apartment is "decorated" with two large und one small dark/black urine stains, as the mishaps were only noticed days later and not cleaned up right away. This very costly damage is extremely frustrating for us, even more because it could have been easily avoided. To say that we are disappointed is an understatement.

Loica and her daughter were great cat and house sitters for our 6 weeks away. Loica was proactive and very helpful with any house or cat concerns, which was super appreciated. We came home to very happy cats (they clearly loved them and Loica made a special effort to bond with Astrid who is a scaredy cat), and our house was in good shape. We're hoping we can do the trade again in the future. A big thank you to both of them!

Sam did a great job looking after our house and cat. Everything was nice and clean when we got back and Lucky our cat was very contented and had obviously had a nice few weeks with Sam. Communication was prompt, there was an issue with a fuse in the house which Sam communicated quickly to us and we were able to help her sort it out without any delay. I would like to thank Dianne and Mark for making my first sit through TrustedHousesitters so perfect! They are very accommodating. They were happy to answer any questions and helped me by picking me up from the bus station, taking me grocery shopping, and showing me around the area before leaving on their own trip. Charlie is the easiest dog to take care of. He is extremely friendly and relaxed. I spent the week exploring all the beautiful parks and trails that begin right outside Dianne and Mark’s front door. Charlie is trustworthy on and off the leash, never running off or barking. This was my first time away from home, and my first time out of my home country alone, but it felt so easy. All in all it was an incredible experience and I’d love to return some day!

Anja & Hermann

Anja and Hermann are very welcoming, open and friendly and invited me into their home like a family member. Throughout my stay we kept in touch daily and shared photos and information. I felt like at home in their nice and spacious house and really enjoyed the garden. Taking care of Max was a joy - he’s a little shy at first but very sweet and we got along very well. He was always close to the house when outside and loved to sleep on the bench on the patio. He likes being brushed and shows his affection with cute little meows.
There are several cats living in the neighborhood who like to visit.
The region around Wurmlingen/Tuttlingen is really beautiful, you can go for walks and hikes or bike rides in great nature.
Around the corner there is a little supermarket, two bakeries are very close by and quite a lot of restaurants are also in walking distance.
I had a great time, I felt at home and comfortable during my stay and I can recommend this house sit wholeheartedly!

Anja und Hermann sind total gastfreundlich und offen und haben mich in ihrem Zuhause aufgenommen wie ein Familienmitglied. Während meines Aufenthalts waren wir täglich in Kontakt und haben Fotos und Infos ausgetauscht. Ich hab mich in ihrem großen und geräumigen Haus wie daheim gefühlt und vor allem hab ich den Garten genossen.
Max ist eine wahre Freude. Zuerst war er ein bisschen zurückhaltend aber er ist total lieb und wir kamen sehr gut miteinander aus. Wenn er draußen unterwegs war, blieb er immer in der Nähe und am liebsten hat er auf der Terrassen-Bank geschlafen. Er mag es sehr, wenn man ihn bürstet und miaut dann ganz süß.
In der Nachbarschaft leben noch ein paar andere Katzen, die auch mal gerne auf einen kleinen Besuch vorbeikommen.
Die Region rund um Wurmlingen/Tuttlingen ist wirklich schön, man kann in der Natur spazieren gehen, wandern und Rad fahren.
Um die Ecke gibt’s einen kleinen Supermarkt, zwei Bäckereien und auch einige verschiedene Restaurants sind zu Fuß innerhalb weniger Minuten zu erreichen.
Mir hat es sehr gut gefallen, ich hab mich sehr wohl und wie Zuhause gefühlt und kann einen Aufenthalt bei Anja und Hermann nur empfehlen!

We were delighted to have the opportunity to sit for Patti.  Patti's beautifully designed green oak home is nestled at the foot of the Mourne Mountains.  The mature garden surrounding her home is idyllic.  Patti treated us to dinner when we arrived and we felt immediately at home in her company.  The cats are all characters and no trouble at all.  Rusty and Big Fluff enjoyed affection.   Minnie, Blackie and Whitey were more self contained though were happy to appear at meal times and pose fleetingly for photos. If you can extract yourself from this lovely home there is heaps to do and explore in the area, with the seaside town of Newcastle only a short walk away.  The Mourne mountains are great for hiking and the nearby Forest Parks of Tollymore and Castlewellan are ideal for hiking and biking.  Patti's home is very well appointed and we would highly recommend this beautiful home and petsit.

I had a wonderful time with Trulio. Jackie was  welcoming and explained everything really well. She was accommodating to my circumstances and made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. Trulio was so sweet and affectionate, we explored the city and coffee shops together. Jackie explained her routine and preferences very well. Hoping to be back at some point in the future to see Trulio again!

Kasimir and Bender are mature and independent cats but still enjoy playing and occasionally cuddling with me on the sofa. The place is gorgeous and Kristina and Roman are excellent with communications. Thank you for making this stay super easy and comfortable!
