Kat and Joe are great people and great house/dog sitters! Our dogs loved them! We would welcome them back into our home any time, and hope to see them again
Sammie was a reliable and clean sitter. We came back to a happy dog and clean home. Her dog came and was a good pal to ours. If you need a solid sitter here you go!
Kip was wonderful, one of our favorites. He is so sweet, affectionate, and easy to care for. Julia and her husband were so welcoming. It was a great sit in a great location.
Awful experience. A lot of issues as below - 1. Shilpa changed the sit dates the day before the sit. Plus the welcome guide was missing key information so the sit was disorganised. 2. Unsafe house due to security issue - a ground floor window facing the back was left open for the cat to come and go, but the back of the house was not secure. shilpa said no one would be able to get through via the back - this was untrue (see next issue below) 2. Their front door was faulty and they failed to tell me, despite me even asking in the handover if there was a knack to using the door / lock at all and shilpa said no. due to the fault i was locked outside at night time. i had gone to take laundry out of their washing machine, which was located in their neighbour's garage and shared. when i came back the front door had got stuck so i could not re enter. i gently knocked on the neighbours door - they did not answer. therefore i had to access the house via the back garden, which i had been told was secured but it turns out was easy to get into the house that way. there was a homeless drunk man on the street at the time and i didnt have my mobile phone on me so i was keen to get in asap. shilpa denied the door was faulty and put blame on me saying i could not use the washing machine anymore as id upset the neighbours (meaning also they had been home). 3. Toilet got blocked and not usable for 2 days - again tried to hint it was my fault however the plumber said the reason it got blocked was because it was an old toilet. 4. at the handover shilpa did not seem friendly from the start so i didnt feel welcomed. The cat marcelo is amazing, so that was a blessing.
Cara was great to dog sit and house sit for. Great communication, laid back, very understanding. Murray and Schmitt were great dogs and were fun to hang out with. Extremely good experience all around.
Rachel kindly invited us for a coffee before the sit, this allowed us to meet up and also be introduced yo the animals. She gave is a very informative welcome guide. Bath is a beautiful city with so many places to shop and eat out. The walks up by the race course give a super panoramic view of the city and surrounding countryside. The no 31 park and ride bus goes at the end of the road about every 15 mins, very useful. We highly recommend this sit
I really had a great moment in Zürich. Gogo is an adorable cat, very playful and well behaved. Also he is very easy going. I’m so grateful about Sarah’s hospitality, she was very clear, we had a good communication before and during the sitting. The apartment is situated in a good location and it’s very comfy. Nearby train station, supermarkets and the lake. It was a lovely week in Zürich. Thanks.
We looked after Trixie for 2 months and took care of the house and garden. The location up in the mountains is very, very beautiful. We didn't have a car, but that's not absolutely necessary. There are shortcuts to Boquete down town (approx. 4.5 km and the long way approx. 6.5 km), which can be reached on foot, if you wear good shoes and can do without paved roads. There is also an irregular bus for 1.50 $. You can stop the bus, when you see it. After shopping, we took a taxi home for 3-4$. That wasn't a problem with Trixie either. And it would be better to go not alone, because Trixie doesn't like it, to sit alone in front of the supermarket door. Otherwise there are some restaurants and cafes, where you can go in with Trixie. You don't have to give up anything 😊 The neighbors are also all very friendly and Les (the landowner), helps quickly if a problem comes up. So you are not alone, with that big house and the garden. You find everything in the kitchen what you need. It’s great 👍🏽 😀 A hot tub is also in the garden. Trixie is a great dog. Very playful and because of her breed, she needs a lot of activity and movement. But none of this is a problem, because there are great hiking trails nearby, that you can walk from the house and even if you have a car, or by Taxi, you can go to very beautiful hiking trails in a short time, where Trixie can also run freely. The whole family is also super friendly. We really enjoyed the time and settled in quickly and are very grateful that we got the chance for our first house sit. 🙏🏽 We'd love to come back 😊
