I had a lovely stay in Maria’ s apartment and looked after a very relaxed and playful Dory. Maria is accomodating and friendly and left a clean home and fresh bedlinnen on the bed when i arrived with good instructions for Dory. I would highly recommend looking after Dory.
It was great to meet up with Douglas, Eileen, and Watson prior to the housesit, the transition proved to be very easy. The house was immaculate with amazing views of Longs Peak. The deck will be a great place to seat outside, eat, and enjoy Watson’s company. We had two herds of Elk visit during our stay. I was able to work from the house with no problems. Watson is a lovely dog with a great personality and is easy to look after, she listens to simple commands and is respectful. She would make us smile most days, even when we forgot to move her bed as the sun moved around the house. We were able to take her for walks within the neighborhood and within Estes Park.
I had the utter joy of spending Christmas with Paddy, Charlie, Pepper, and Jack. What a special time! I relished being with this animal crew and am grateful to have been entrusted with their care. ..... The human family, Nicole, Danny, Alex, and Anna, are warm, kind, and lovely. I really enjoyed talking with them and getting to know them a little. As for the animals… Paddy, wow, I *love* this pig! He is polite and sweet and was so well-behaved. I adored my cozy evenings in this lovely home, watching movies with Paddy plopped down by my side, getting scratches and belly rubs the whole time. Paddy also loves lying by the fire, and it's SO endearing how he will pick himself up (around 9pm) and put himself to bed when he's tired. Paddy is a treasure who captured my heart, and I miss him! Charlie the dog is a luscious beauty who is super sweet and snuggly and loves her walks and treats. She stands guard to protect the household and loves her people time. I enjoyed our evening walks through this great neighborhood, with houses beautifully lit by Christmas lights. She's a good girl and great company. Jack is strong, both physically and in personality. He proudly upholds the "goat stubbornness" reputation, and his ability to stand in one spot and not move a bit (for ages) is impressive! But he's also (usually) defenseless against a bowl of fruit and loves head scratches and petting. ...... Pepper is a sweetheart who loves affection and will happily take fruit from your hand. Watching her and Charlie play and scamper around like two puppies is hilarious! She and Jack also play and are buddies who hang out together most of the time. This was such an exceptional pet sit. I would joyously care for this animal crew again anytime. I loved the experience and hope to see these special humans and animals again.
Emma was very easy to communicate with both before and during the sit and she was pleased to receive the updates that I sent while she was away. Rey is a very sweet, loving dog who enjoys curling up on the sofa with you, especially under a blanket. We had some good walks in the local parks - there are a few to choose from on Emma's doorstep - and even a run together. Rey also likes a good game of tug of war, and chasing her ball. Emma has a beautiful, airy house which is well located, not only for parks but shops and getting into Manchester. Thanks Emma for letting me looking after the lovely Rey ❤️
Looking after Mani and Moni was such a wonderful experience! They are really special, sweet and funny cats who stole my hearts immediately. Eli and James are lovely people, they collected me, gave detailed written instructions/notes and kept in regular contact. The location is very central for Brighton, beautifully decorated home, and plenty of great shops around you incl a large supermarket. I’d highly recommend this sit and happily would come again:)♥️
I had a wonderful time looking after Cobweb for Tom and Chloe, she is a beautiful, affectionate cat with loads of character! Tom and Chloe explained everything in detail so that it was simple to follow their directions and wishes. The house was in a great location, clean and organised. I can't wait for the next time I can look after Cobweb!
