I had the best time with Mimi who is the sweetest, prettiest, daintiest and most cuddly little marmalade lady cat you could ever wish to meet. The perfect definition of a lap cat, she is very chilled, very friendly, very affectionate and absolutely no trouble at all to look after. If you give her ham from the fridge she will love you forever 😃. Her owner, Jonny, was very helpful and responsive so making arrangements with him was very easy. You will no doubt have a great time if you sit for Mimi.
Bertille and Tom were very welcoming and their home was well situated for Hebden Bridge and Howarth. An added bonus was beautiful countryside walks straight from the doorstep. Beignet is such a cute cat, very affectionate and playful. She comes up and snuggles up to you, has such a playful and affectionate nature and was an absolute pleasure to care for. Cooper was also adorable, full of energy and enjoys all the sights and smells when out walking. He loved to paddle, generally excited to meet everyone and quite lovable too!
Kindest humans and wonderful pets
We enjoyed our time with M.J. and Alex in their comfortable home on the golf course! Lissa & Mike wrote up a comprehensive welcome manual and made us feel welcome in their place. Loved their well-laid-out kitchen which was well-equipped and sparkly-clean. The house is in a walkable area; we walked M.J. around the park and the golf course and took our own walks downtown to a grocery store, restaurants and the library. M.J. endeared herself to us! She is a sweet & tender little lady who was easy to care for. She did have a couple of early morning accidents; we alleviated the problem by having her sleep nearby so that we could hear her cues when she first woke up. Alex was entertaining, and he learned to whistle a tune which we, ourselves, whistled several times during the stay! We recommend this sit to others and thank Mike and Lissa for trusting us with your home & pets. Thank you for sharing your salmon, too!
This was an absolutely phenomenal experience. I enjoyed this house sit from start to finish—a full 2.5 months! These two cats are so amazing, and we got so close during my time there. The home was so insanely comfortable and it was also conveniently close to grocery stores, and the link rail that takes you right to downtown Seattle, cap hill, etc. Hank was super great to house sit for, and made the whole experience go by smoothly. I am so grateful to have had this house sit experience and I will miss Dax and Ellie dearly! They’re both so playful and cuddly. Would highly recommend this house sit to anyone who would be so lucky to care for these two sweet cats.
Juliet and Mike are lovely people, they made me very welcome and made sure I had all the information I needed to take of Lolha and the house. Lolha is very sweet, high energy but we got along just fine, we had many enjoyable walks in the beautiful surrounding countryside.
