They took us to and from the airport, looked after our home and garden and were devoted to our pets which included administering medications to our 20 year old cat. They are a great team and we hope they’ll housesit for us again. Thank you so much, D&G!
Rachel and Raul were incredible! I was nervous about leaving my dog (having not traveled for 3 years!) but they made it so easy. Communication was excellent. Rachel took the initiative and set up the initial Zoom call and a WhatsApp group chat to communicate during the sit. They kept me informed while traveling to my house prior to the sit, let me know when they arrived after I left, sent photos and kept me updated daily, informed me when they left (after tracking my flight to make sure I would arrive on time). House was in perfect shape and Eggo was well cared for and loved. I had clean linens when I came home and a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Felt totally comfortable with them after I met them the day before departure. Would highly recommend them and would love to have them sit for me again!
Giselle is incredible. She is so incredibly sweet and kind to our two pups. It’s clear she truly loves them and gives them a lot of attention and care. I always feel comfortable with Giselle knowing our dogs are in good hands. She’s also very responsive and easy to communicate with. The daily (sometimes hourly) picture updates and amazing!!! 10/10!
I had such a lovely time house and pet sitting here! Shannon's really sweet and her dog, Rosie, takes after her! Rosie's the absolute best! I LOVED spending time with Rosie! She's so sweet, snuggly, and smart! She's the perfect blend of affection, while also being receptive, respectful, and independent. When I needed space, Rosie was understanding. But I spent a lot of time with her. When I was away, Rosie didn't exhibit any anxiety and was happy to see me when I returned. Rosie loved her walks and eating, she sat on the kitchen floor when I was cooking, enjoyed sun bathing, hung out with me in her room when I had to plug in my laptop, and we spent a lot of time on the couch together. Shannon's home is beautiful, zen, and comfy. It reminds me of Echo Park in the valley. Her home's so relaxing and I appreciate the intentional space she created. I woke up every morning and put on solfeggio frequencies on YouTube. I also enjoyed the meditation room. The living room's spacious and cozy. The garden's a nice lil get away. She was kind enough to leave me a couple empty drawers, which made me feel even more at home. There's a Berkey water filter and InstaPot, which are so important to me. Shannon has a fantastic book collection and not your basic b*tch self help books but quality ones and as a psychotherapist, she had some legit books. Bonus: She also had books on decolonizing therapy and white fragility, which as a woman of color I deeply appreciate. A couple blocks over are some super cute stores! Shannon had this gorgeous amethyst shaped soap I fell in love with and I found it at one of the cute shops nearby. It's a convenient location nearby everything you want and need but tucked away in this peaceful oasis. It's been feng shui'd and the energy reflects this. As an Astrologer and an empath, I'm very intentional and selective about the sits I apply for. I'd absolutely love to watch over Rosie and spend time in her home again!
