Pet Sitters in Hopkins, MN

Maureen and Toby took excellent care of our home, two dogs and cat while we were away for the holidays. The pups were spoiled with lots of long walks, cuddles and even new toys for Christmas. Maureen kept us updated with daily texts and photos and left the house sparkling clean for our return. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and hope they stay with us again!

After meeting John the night before we left, it was comforting to know we would have someone who is thoughtful and considerate with our gang of 4-legged family for 10 days! John sent us frequent check-in photos to ensure all was good on the home-front and we could tell they were all very comfortable with John. We came back to a very tidy home and we would be glad to have John back! 👏

Rebekah was really amazing! She was great with our pets and house, and was responsible, mature, caring, organized, tidy, and communicated very well. Loved the pictures and updates she sent. She was able to handle our Cavalier who went into heat early, researched how to handle that, and did it very well managing it (and she managed our other pup who is male and neutered, but who still got a little frenzied with his female housemate was heat). She also handled our newer rescue Cavalier mix, with great care. He had only been with us a few months before the sit, and did get a little anxious at our departure, and had some resulting tummy issues, but she handled it really well. She even continued training him, including on how to use a gentle leader, to help him learn to walk calmly without pulling, among other things we were working on with him. I had complete trust in Rebekah. She seems to be not just an amazing pet and house sitter, but also an amazing human being all around. We loved having her! You couldn't go wrong with Rebekah!

Carleen was wonderful and extremely clean. She was a great communicator and left the place spotless. She gave a lot of updates and was very detailed oriented when it came to her arrival and departure. I would definitely recommend her for any housesit. 

Jess and Wendy were incredible sitters for two of our pups while we were away for a wedding. Coordination and communication was seamless and proactive, and it was clear when we came home that our dogs truly loved them— the doggies made a point of saying goodbye to them at the door! Our house was impeccable upon return. Best of all, Jess and Wendy are lovely, kind, thoughtful people and anyone would be lucky to have them as sitters. We would absolutely have them sit for us again!

Bridget was amazing. Regular updates with photos of Rico, extremely clean, courteous and thoughtful. She was respectful of the house, and self sufficient. She played with him a bit every day and won over our rather shy, blind cat in RECORD time. We couldn’t believe he was already sitting on her lap after day 3. Knowing our little guy, this could have only happened through exceptional care, lots of play, good energy, and solid instincts about animals. She even left us a little welcome home note. Look no further :)

Ari is welcome back to our home anytime (Graham couldn't make it this time. I am sure he is wonderful too). Ari went above and beyond caring for Aspen and Willow and our home. Severe weather moved through while she was here that created a few challenges. The way Ari communicated and handled the issues gave us peace of mind. Our youngest dog Willow is usually a little mad at us when we return home from a trip, but she had so much fun with Ari she wasn't even mad this time. Overall, Ari is an excellent communicator, kind, self-sufficient, clean, and organized.

Katie was great! She communicated very quickly and was so kind and thoughtful. We would recommend her for anyone’s housesitting, pet sitting, and garden watering needs. We’d be fortunate to have her sit again. Thanks Katie!

Emma and her sister were excellent pet sitters and guests! They kept my very active dog busy and gave my cat all the attention he needed. They brought their pup with them and my dog had a great time getting to play with her! The house was kept very clean and Emma sent me regular updates on how the pets were doing. I highly recommend her!

What do you say about the repeat house sitters who are already perfect? We were lucky enough to secure Mark and Deb for a 2 month stay. They have sat for us multiple times before, so there was no second guessing (and a little yip of excitement from me and our kitty) when their offer to sit came through. Mark and Deb are great at communicating, very reliable, and fantastic at pet care as seen by multiple pictures showing Ricky being played with and sitting in their laps (we were a little jealous) while we were away. I think Mark and Deb are true cat lovers. A 2 month sit means real life living, not just a few days or a week. I mean they had to eat and shower, right? We came home to a house that was so neat and clean we couldn't tell they were there except for the notes they left behind. They reached out with questions or concerns, let us know when packages arrived, took out the garbage, did all the asks like plant watering and filling bird feeders outside, and took great care of our little Ricky. If you're lucky enough to get them, go for it. Mark and Deb are always welcome at our house.

Emily was a dream sitter - reliable, well organized, and best of all gave awesome care to Wilbur. Bulldogs can be a bit high maintenance with their wrinkles and quirks, but Emily clearly charmed Wilbur from the start. Her photo updates showed how relaxed and happy he was. I’d welcome Emily back to sit anytime - she was amazing!
